This land was once owned by Noah Hays himself. He was the main farmer on this land along with other farming land on this road. Hints the name "Noah Hays Road". We stopped farming this land long ago but some of his relatives are still farming on the land he use to farm on. You will see one of his old plots still being farmed across the street from our property. There is still the old cabin he use to live in along with an old curing barn they use to hang the tobacco in after harvest. Supper cool! Learn more about this land: This is a new listing. Nestled in the foothills of North Carolina is a majestic and peaceful plot of land that sits beside the south fork of the Mitchel River and; on the other side, a steep hillside of security covered in luscious wooded hardwood and pine. The space The space is equipped for dry camping with a outhouse on site for bathroom procedures. The parking pad can accommodate most A class RV's with a length and width of 38 by 10 foot. This was a wonderful, secluded campsite right next to a river. we even saw a screech owl! Great host, location was as described. We would definitely stay again.

Car traffic was a nightmare
Booked a campsite for two nights. On Friday night had a blissful experience, no issues. The campsite is tucked away and the sound of the stream was amazing. On the second night (Saturday night) had vehicle traffic back a fourth trafficking more than 8x well into 1AM. I would not recommend this campsite based on the amount of traffic flowing through here. I tried to reach the owner/ host to find out what’s going on but I got no response.

It was a great site! Stars were very visible and the sound of the creek in the back was nice.

Wonderful place. Tanner is a great communicator, place is easy to find but be prepared to lose cell signal near it.

m great place
This was a nice site and I loved it here it was right off the road but it was still private and it was perfect having river right there and there was no one there when I stayed which made it even better. There’s a cute cabin if u keep on going past the campsite which was really more private and next time I’m I area I’ll get the cabin instead. There’s only issues I had were the directions to the place . There’s no signal once you get off the main rd so maps kept rerouting me and there’s no directions directly on hip camp so I had to turn around several time I finally found it . Either way great spot to stay
