Super private & no light pollution
18 ft travel trailer · With pets · I want to say I loved this property as soon as I drove in! This campsite is beautiful, extremely quiet & super secluded, so if you like being out in nature, you will love it too. The sites are right on the creek & the constant sound of rushing water is incredibly peaceful. On my visit, I was the only camper, so my Aussie was able to run & swim off leash to her hearts content.
Unfortunately there are some problems if you require more then 110 power. 1st, the 30 amp boxes are not meant for an RV, they are appliance receptacles & therefore was not usable. No big deal, there are 50 amp boxes & I had an adapter, but 2nd problem, the box around the 50 amps are not long enough to receive a 50 amp plug (I will provide pictures), so also unusable. There are regular 110 plugs & I had that adapter, so that would work for the night, but I would not be able to run my AC or other appliances. Oops, that plug in was dead.
I was in communication with Jodee about all of this & she did her best to help me, but her electrician insisted I was wrong about the 30 amp box & that there was an adapter for it. He wouldn't even comment on the 50 amp box. Even if the power was restored, I COULD NOT use either of the receptacles, so I asked for a refund & left in the a.m.
Jodee went the next day & found just that power pole had tripped a breaker in a recent storm & was indeed dead.
If you need 30 amps, unless they replace the current boxes, don't go. If you don't it's awesome!
