The perfect weekend getaway!

This site/location did not disappoint - what more could you ask for, a perfect site that’s walking distance to a tasting room with beautiful views.
Access to the site was easy to find and navigate. The site was pushed back into the woods with a cleared space that was flat and perfect for a tent. There was a picnic table and a gravel firepit area. The cooking grate was perfectly positioned to enjoy both a fire and cooking at the same time. There was wood provided which was a nice touch. I also appreciated the trash bin located at the entrance to the site.
We took full advantage of the grounds, the tasting room, and the fenced dog area. Being able to enjoy a glass of wine on the back patio while the sun set was the perfect way to end the day. My dog thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in area - Saturday night I sat at a table in the dog area, enjoyed a glass of wine, listened to the band, all while my dog got the zoomies and played ball.
We took a day trip and hiked 5 miles to explore around Carter Falls and then walked around Mt Airy. Both are highly recommended. This was a perfect weekend for my dog, Journey, and I.
If you are looking for a site that has privacy but provides the opportunity to be social and active - this is the place for you. If you’re looking for complete seclusion, to get away from it all, you might want to find somewhere else - there was road noise, chickens, barking dogs, and screaming kids from adjacent properties. But not enough to bother us. We will be back!

Great place for a one night stop. We have a Flagstaff TT, 25 feet overall, and stayed at site 1. The site is beautiful and peaceful. We wish we got there earlier to enjoy all the amenities. Just know we were a bit large to fit over the narrow bridge and gate accessing the site. Doable, you just have to navigate off the gravel drive to make the turns. It is also hilly and we used 4WD. The site isn't level as it flows to creek but we managed to find a level spot that worked without having to level trailer or disconnect.

Great camp place, one of my favorite! Site was flat and private. Host included wood and trash/recycling bin. Fun to go to winery for a beverage.

This campsite exceeded every expectation. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the scenery was breathtaking and very relaxing. Everyone at the winery was super helpful, accommodating and nice. The environment at the winery was very laid back and friendly.

Nice sites with a trash can provided. Plenty of wood though it was wet so luckily we brought our own. Only thing I would caution is there was a wedding while we were there and we were able to clearly and loudly hear the wedding music.
Luckily it was over early but just FYI

Excellent campsite with a toilet close by. The campsite was well kept and a short walk from the main winery building. We enjoyed the wine and charcuterie. Dog-friendly and plenty of space for them at the campsite. Overall a great location off I-77.

My family and I absolutely loved camping at site #1. The site was spacious, well maintained and level site covered with grass. The property has such great views of surrounding mountains. We enjoyed a great afternoon sipping wine on the patio. We brought 3 dogs and site #1 was a great space for them to run. Would highly recommend.

A great private spot on an active vineyard! The welcome wine tasting was a great start to our trip! Spot was level, had a nice fire pit area and great for watching the stars at night! We enjoyed walking the property and had the fun bonus of a wedding being onsite that day with some fun music in the evening we could hear from the campsite! Would definitely recommend!

Had a great time camping at Round Peak Vineyards! We have attended the Skull Campout in several occasions so we already knew it was a great place to camp. Took friends who had never been and they loved it as well!

Relax at Round Peak Vineyard~ an oasis in this rural mountain area! Stunning big-sky views, we had an awesome view of the super moon over the vineyard.
Camping at Site 1 includes deep shade areas (great for our dog), and multiple tents/cars can occupy the site. Even after 7 in. of rain, the site is well-drained and didn't pool; and although grassy, all the roads have a gravel base and are easily driven over. Many tulip poplar, dogwood, and white pine trees surround this site, with a burbling creek that we could hear from our picnic table, tent and in our hammock. This site is the most private, and there is great distance between each of the camp areas. We took morning walks with our dog around the vineyard property, enjoyed the disc golf course and met folks travelling from KY to play in the disc golf US Masters tourney in Cary NC. The nightly wine tastings with attentive staff were the highlight~ sunsets on the porch and the views of the mountains and vineyard never. got. old. The tasting room is also serving a great selection of beers from Skull Camp and ciders, as well as non-alcoholic beverages! Added bonus was dance night in our tent as we enjoyed music from the DJ of the wedding held at the vineyard!
Ken was a great host and was very accommodating with firewood and tips on accessing the vineyard; we enjoyed hearing from him about the harvesting and processing of grapes they were just completing. They take great care of the land, with lots of native flowers.

We stayed here in our 32 ft motorhome while attending a wedding. Its a beautiful spot and the host is very welcoming. Great wine and beautiful sunsets. Disc golf is also available on site.

Large RV Site #1
The vineyard is beautiful and well maintained. They have designated RV sites in front of the winery building which are kinda in the parking area. They did have one located below the winery. They seem to be flexible about allowing you to find a site near the vines to park for the nite. They have a very large covered outside seating area for guest of the winery and allowed us to use the space after hours. Ken the host was very receptive to my inquires.
