This was a nice spot to camp, we even met the owner who had come by to check on something and ensure the site was to our liking. The area into the camp was well mowed, but due to the gate, it is difficult to get anything larger than a truck in (as mentioned by owner, they are working on this). The field around the bank was mowed well, and the area was flat enough for our pop up camper and canopy. There is a porta john toilet at one end of the field that is well maintained and serviced weekly. It did rain for most of the week and the creek became very murky, but even with that being the case, we still managed to catch several trout that swam down from the fee fishing area that is upstream. As most of the bank requires climbing to get to the water, I would not recommend this as a place to stay to someone who has mobility issues if their goal is to fish (as there is no way to land a fish), however, it is a nice flat area large enough to walk around if getting to the water is not their intention. There is some traffic noise, but it is not bad enough to deter us from another stay in the future.
