2 nights at Camp Earth Connection

We had the best time at Eshay's beautiful campsite. We would absolutely come again. It was just me and my two kids. The cabin was perfect, we felt safe, but also had our own space. It was so nice. The showers were a plus after hiking at buttermilk falls (highly recommend.) Was easy to make a fire in a pit, she sells wood on site. Also used the grill for dinner! Such a fun time.

I had a wonderful getaway in Robert and Amanda’s cabin. It was just as pictured and described. Their dog was so sweet and adorable. The location was perfect - close to many waterfalls and downtown Ithaca. I can’t wait to visit in autumn!

Weekend Trip to Cabin in the woods

We loved our quiet weekend in the little cabin! It had many cooking essentials like spatulas, spoons, Blackstone Grill, a propane stove and pots and pans. Although we would recommend bringing your own propane. We were kindly left some but ran out the first night of our trip. The cabin was well maintained and tidy! The loft is cute and tiny, but we did not use it since we had our dogs with us. The fire-pit area was great and the area was beyond peaceful! The drive in was a bit rough due to all of the rain we've been getting and it caused some larger holes, but as long as you go slow it is fine. The turn for the cabin is easy to find since it has a "For sale" sign at it. We definetly recommend!

We loved Minglewood. The site was very clean upon arrival and had all of the basic necessities you would need. We loved the seclusion of it. The site is in very close proximity to the wineries on Seneca Lake.

It was a beautiful spot and we loved that it was dog friendly. The only thing I comment negatively on is that there needs to be curtains on the windows! Otherwise it's a wonderful quiet spot to enjoy!

My wife, our dog and I loved the solitude and peace at this cabin. The property was close to amenities but still felt isolated, and the spotty cell signal was actually a big help in getting detached from the distraction of our devices/ social media etc. There was a small issue in accessing the generator but the owner was kind, responsive , understanding, and clearly wanted us to be happy so that more than made up for it. Would definitely go back.

This cabin was cozy and quiet situated amongst mountains and a farmer’s fields. It was clean and had all the basics especially for a cabin off the grid. We will definitely be back!!

Weekend Trip to Waterfall Creek

We loved everything about staying at the Waterfall Creek Cabin! Ken was an amazing host with great communication! Property is even better than photos can show - waterfalls is so beautiful and only a short distance from the cabin and there is a creek running right beside the site. Cabin had a ceiling fan, tv (which we never used because the property was so beautiful) and a super comfy sleeper sofa. We ordered a couple packs of wood and they were under the covered porch when we arrived. We like to cook all meals over the fire and Ken even let us use his tripod and grate. Ken thanks for a peaceful and relaxing weekend and we hope to be back soon!!!

Weekend Trip to Minglewood Camp

Awesome little cabin next to a bubbling little creek. I was pleasantly surprised ability to drive right up to the camp site. The best pleasant surprise were three lights; one in the cabin one in kitchen area, and one in the toilet area. These made a huge difference.

We really loved the cabin we stayed in, and in fact all the cabins and sites we saw looked great. The camp and facilities were very clean and Susan was so friendly and welcoming. A huge highlight was getting to run on the outstanding trails every morning, which are right outside the campground. We'd love to stay again!

We had the best time at Camp Whitman! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The air conditioners in the bedrooms were so nice to have with the heat. The bed were super comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the camp and fishing in the little pond. Bryan was helpful for anything we needed and only a text away if we had questions or needed anything. We will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend ☺️

Quite a bit off the road and well maintained, quiet cabin located about an 8 min walk from the water. We couldn’t see the lake from the cabin but we could hear the boats. Cabin renters next to us were quiet and friendly. The description is spot on. The cabin had anything we would’ve needed for the overnighter. Sadly no place to swim but it’s ok, the quiet reprieve was a chill ending to a super nice day. We visited local creameries and highly recommend Shtayburne Creamery!!

This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. Towner's Country Paradise

The available half bathroom is in the main house, just seconds from the cabin and is open to use 24 hrs. there is Not a shower in it, but you can wash up with hot water and soap, hand towels available as needed. if your staying multiple nights and would like to use the shower just let us know and well work out a time. The bunkhouse has 2 twin mattresses in the loft, and several blankets & pillows, but you need to BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS and pillow CASES as you wish. There is good A/C! Firewood is $5 per fire, starters materials included, marshmallows are in the end table drawer! You can select the campfire wood option here or pay in cash in the cabin. Bring your own fire wood and pay nothing. If you need any help starting a fire, we can do that. We have a sweet fluffy orange cat who roams the property. His name is kitty kitty :) He's fearful of dogs, and is wary of visitors since they might be harboring one! If you have a pup with you, please keep them leashed at least around the main house and cabin. We are also have a very sweet dog, Beya-- ( Bay-yuh). She is the nicest person you'd hope to meet. She may bark a little the first time you come in to use the bathroom but she's just letting us know you have arrived- and will be very happy to have you greet her. Life slows down at Seneca Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes. Check in to a lakeside campground or RV park, and spend your days cruising the lake, wine tasting along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, or relaxing at the lakefront picnic areas. Three state parks border the lake, providing plenty of biking and hiking trails, and Sampson State Park also has a boat launch and swimming beach. Spring through fall is the most popular camping season, but campgrounds at Seneca Lake Park stay open year-round, and Watkins Glen State Park also has cabin rentals for winter campers.

Cayuga and Owasco Lakes

East of Seneca Lake, adventurous campers can choose between walk-in sites or enjoy backcountry tent sites in the Finger Lakes National Forest. Hiking trails, wineries, and waterfalls dot the shores of Cayuga Lake. Neighboring Owasco Lake is a water sports hotspot, where boating, fishing, and water skiing are the main activities.

Onondaga County

Woodland tent camping, lakeside fishing, and a renowned craft beer scene await at the eastern edge of the Finger Lakes Region.
