This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. Underhill Inn is a small homestead located in the Finger Lakes region tucked in the rolling hills near Dryden Lake. We have a small garden, a flock of sheep and chickens, hives of honeybees and countless wild foraging on our 36 acres of pasture and hiking trails. Take a walk down to Brockendock pond and cruise across the water in a canoe or paddleboat to find peepers, heron, toads and turtles. Drop a line in the water to catch trout, bass and sunnies. The chicken coop is always bustling and there are plenty of eggs to harvest each day. A morning hike on the trails usually kicks up the deer and wild turkeys and at night the barn owl will sing for you if you listen close. Adults and children are welcome to pet and feed the animals on the farm. There are farm tours available where you can learn more about our mushroom garden, composting techniques, blueberries, felting, and more.

Towner's Country Paradise started out as a wild forest and pasture for cows in the 1940's, owned by Llewellyn Towner. In the 1960s, Llewellyn's love for aviation led him to construct a small airstrip and hangar, and then his son Terry began to plant Christmas Trees (no more cows) and clear much of the land. By the early 1970's our main and largest pond was built and since that time our fully functional cabin, several more fish ponds, roads, trails, running water and generated electricity have been added. Christmas Trees are still grown and harvested by Terry's son Scott Towner. The cabin is located in a remote area of Bear Swamp State Forest. It is about 5 miles from the nearest paved road but has seasonal roads that take you to the cabin. There are many close attractions like Skaneateles Lake and Carpenters Falls. The Cabin doesn’t have electricity or water but we do have a generator available. We do not have a shower or bathroom but we have an outhouse. We do ask people to bring their own gas if you want to run the generator and woods to make a fire. I highly recommend 4x4 vehicles but I been there in a civic and a mini van.

Again, our property features a swimming pool, hiking trails, a small organic garden and activities such as archery, boating and more for guests. Many of these activities require staff to facilitate, so please make your actvity requests well in advance!

It was so cute and cozy, the view was amazing we watched the sunrise from bed every morning. We came prepared for no power do what we had was great. The charge did die in the middle of the night our last night. But if we really needed the power there was generator provided. One of the best hipcamps we’ve ever booked

And if you are up for an adventure, there are some to be had right on the farm and more just a short drive away! Just bring your gear! Wonderful weekend on the farm!!!

Weekend Trip to Camp Earth Connection
Lovely and quiet with a beautiful view. Eshay was very communicative and helpful - I accidentally booked for the wrong dates (Fri-Mon instead of Thurs-Mon), but when we showed up on Thursday she was able to accommodate us and we could pay for the extra night on arrival, which I really appreciated. It was great to have showers and composting toilets on site. Enjoyed our stay!

Very nice secluded cabin not far from the many Ithaca and Watkins Glen parks and attractions, with lots of pretty cool fossils in the creek bed on the premises and an epic large boat parked on the grass. Warm shower requires boiling water and mixing into a makeshift shower contraption but fully workable (gas stove in cabin). Power available via generator but having no experience with it we didn’t use it. No cell reception so be sure to plug into Google ahead of time. Super easy to find tho. Recommend!

Ken's cabin was the perfect escape from reality. Very short walk down to the waterfall or up the hill to watch the horses graze. Not far from Montour Falls or Watkins Glen was a huge plus because we were able to beat the crowds at Watkins Glen State Park. Wouldn't recommend for motorcycle camping because to road down to the cabin gets fairly muddy, but we would definitely come back in the car!

Weekend Trip to Minglewood Camp
A great space in a beautiful location and convenient to all the activities we got up to for our short stay. The cabin was well equipped with all our needs and the solar powered lighting and heated shower a delightful treat for such a secluded spot. Would just watch out for the little gap in the bottom of the door. We ended up using a spare blanket to keep out some furry critters that wanted to come in during the night.

This was our second visit at Zigenvine. We just love the cabin, and we adore the farm. Randy and Allison are wonderful hosts, tremendously caring to their animals and to their community. It’s a pleasure to spend time on the farm. We love the campfire and the bunk beds in the cabin! I highly recommend the experience.

This was a great place to stay. Just primitive enough, but very comfortable. I loved the frogs. Well stocked with wood, utensils, bedding.
Three things to be aware of:
Horseshit every where on the trails.
Several unwatched dogs. Two of them very aggressive. Attacked me while I tried to put trash in bin.
Only one trash bin next to farm house and guarded by unwatched aggressive dogs.

Amazing stay! Cabin was set right on a small creek, where dogs would happily splash in if you're so inclined. Cabin itself was well-made, sturdy, and nicely furnished. Electricity in the Cabin, with plenty of windows to keep good airflow in the summer months. Plenty of room to park, with a slightly steep incline/decline on the road to get there. I was able to drive it just fine in my rear-wheel drive sedan. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone who loves camping!

This is a lovely, secluded site with a really cool cabin build and a stream. The cabin has lots of utensils and a propane stove. I definitely want to go back again. The host checked in on us but otherwise let us do our thing. My daughter accidentally dropped one of her hiking boots when we left, and Emma was kind enough to send it to us. Excellent site, excellent host.

Like my brother kept saying, every day I thought it was the best day until the next day was actually the best day. Perfect cabin, you feel like you’re in another world! Absolutely better than I had even expected, never ran out of power, swam every day, beautiful dragonflies, breathtaking waterfall. Can’t wait to visit again!
