Great cabin, serene and quiet
Old hunting cabin is very easy to get to, down a packed gravel road. Cabin is right on the road but the road is very infrequently traveled and is not a thru road. Very quiet, peaceful and dark at night. Fell asleep to the sounds of frogs and the stream, and a rain storm one night. A little musty but not at all wet, a perfect cabin. Stayed in lat April, and we're plenty warm with our blankets. Generator started right up and powered the lights and ignition switch on the gas stove. Beautiful land, serene creek and really cool mini falls just a short hike up the steep hill behind the boat (don't miss the arrows pointing you down to the creek), but if you've hiked 10min, you've gone too far. Accessible to Corning, Watkins Glen and Ithaca, and all that the southern finger lakes region has to offer. We enjoyed our quiet get away very much. Being in a valley, they sun downy come through the windows until 8am but bring towels or sheets for the windows if you want to sleep in!

What a gem of a spot! Aarons land was amazing! The fire pit is right next to the creek so when you’re sitting by the fire, you have that sound - it will relax you. Just a couple minutes walk up that creek you’ll come across a mini waterfall and what a sight to see! There were plenty of camp chairs inside and pleasantly surprised to find everything else you’d pretty much need to camp/cook, minus the food. But 9minute drive back to town has a grocery store/gas station/pizzeria/dollar general all next to each other. If you want a spot to camp away from society, this is the perfect spot. I’m already planning to come back and I honestly cannot wait!

Highly recommend
Aaron’s cabin was such a beautiful and peaceful property! It was my husband’s and I first camping experience and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything by worked and we were close to the finger lakes which added more to the trip. There wasn’t any service but it helped us disconnect from the outside world and reconnect ourselves. The bond we have is much stronger now. Highly recommend it!

Everything at the cabin this past weekend was splendid. Aaron has a beautiful property. We found many fossils along with some wildlife! It was truly the respite we needed!
