Bought this place 13 yrs ago it was nothing but bare land. I've cleared out an area to camp, play, and enjoy the world. Find this as a good chance to share the outdoors with new ppl. Every year we host a Tree fundraiser called "May We Begin" where we replant as many trees with tree shields as we can raise funds for. Learn more about this land: The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. The last day for shower use is Oct 15th. You’re more than welcome to bring your own portable shower hook up and use the shower house for privacy. We apologize for any inconvenience. You will need to have a cigarette lighter access to use the shower to power the pump. We recommend bringing flashlights as our property is solar powered and there is no electric on the property. On low sunny days, solar lights may not last as long into the evening. On rainy days the property can be very muddy and access to the top of the hill to the sites would be best accessed with a 4WD vehicle as well as winter time with snow on the ground. If you'd like to charge your phone we advise you to bring back up battery packs as there is now electric hook ups on site. The most private sites are Cloud 9, Bunny Pit and Lilou's Landing. The cottage is located down by the main house and not at the top of the hill. Pets are welcome, please clean up after your dog. * No firearms or explosive devices of any kind are allowed on the property.

The cabin was nice. It had good heating, a nice bed, a nice bathroom, and it had lots of forms of entertainment. The cabin also had wifi and a flat screen tv you could stream on. The host was also very good with helping us if we were confused on anything. I definitely plan on staying here again.

It was such a treat to stay with Nicole and Jason's quaint cabin! Every detail was charming and incredibly thoughtful and considerate to our needs. We arrived later the normal check in time and were met at the road as the sun was setting to guide us to the cabin, which was a bit removed from the road, but no issue for our compact car given the dry weather. The cabin, despite the crisp October weather, was cozy and warm, with a electricity and a heater we didn't need to use. There was a beautiful fire pit, coffee and cute wheel-thrown mugs, as well as extra blankets, water, and anything else we might have needed to be comfortable (three adults and an 10-month old, who loved the nearby pond, big bull frogs, and beautifully maintained space to explore). We alerted Nicole ahead of time that we would have an extra guest staying with us, and they even put up an additional tent, though a collapsible cot fit well enough inside the cabin. This stay was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to return when we are next in the area. Thank you!

This is truly an amazing space. Offers multiple places to stay depending on your likes and dislikes. It’s relatively remote, however very peaceful surroundings. Made use of the water activities as well as visited many nearby towns. What a gracious hostess.

Our family had a fantastic stay at Creekside on camp road. The cabin so nice and very very clean. The site had more than enough seating for our large family and areas for us to set up tents. The outhouse was well maintained well lit at night. The creek was just perfect for our 7 year old to play in the water and even watch some deer go by. Leah was incredibly attentive and answered any questions we had right away. We will definitely be back.

New for 2024! The cabin in the woods has been resided, insulated, new roof, twin bunk beds, new door and new windows!

The location is great, quiet, and convenient. There are a ton of accommodations from comfortable seating, campfire, showering, outhouse, grill (propane and charcoal), cover, lights, power, and games. There’s practically no wind to disrupt cooking or outside games and you can even bring the dogs. My family, most of which have never had any interest in camping, had a great time. I also enjoyed the proximity to closeby parks. Leah was also an excellent host and was always available.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the woods on Randy & Allison's homestead. It was very relaxing to walk the trails, visit the farm animals, and relax in the peace and quiet for a few days. We have tent camped here a few times as well. Always a great visit- a beautiful spot convenient to many local attractions but also a great place to kick back and do nothing!

Beautiful property at the top of the hill. At night the sky looks like a planetarium! This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much this time round. The cabin is cozy with a good spot outside for meals and a fire. We had our two kids with us (5&3) and they loved it too - the animals, wild space, and bunk beds for them. It's also a great launching point for lots of nearby attractions and Randy and Allison are lovely humans.

Gorgeous views. Parts, especially the waterfall are a little crowded but a fun trip none the less! Great spot for camping with a group of friends!

Camped Memorial Day weekend 2016. Drive in sites. Main part of park (the three fall and visitor center) over 10 miles South. Sites are wooded and come with a fire ring and picnic table. Bathrooms and water spigots available all eight campsite loops. A camp store carries ice, soda, bug spray, etc.; they do not sell beer. The hiking is easy, due to the fact you are above the gorge. Did the full Gorge trail (9 miles), very well maintained (could use a few more blazes though), and an area near the rafting house moves onto the street for a bit. But, you come here for the falls. Impossible to take a bad picture.

Letchworth is huge... don't limit yourself to the easy accessible points on the west side, get to the east and explore some more remote points with less foot traffic!
