Get away from it all in Connie's Cabin, located 1/4 mile walk down a wooded path from where you will park. Experience zero light pollution at this off the grid cabin or in one of our camping spots. This cabin is equipped with a a pullout bed with sheets and blankets (2 people), 2 couches, a dining room table and four chairs, a porch glider, an outhouse, drinking and cleaning/cooking water, a camp stove, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, books, a few battery powered lights (but good to bring your own), kindling and firewood, and is insulated with a stove for winter stays. A fire pit and benches await your nighttime enjoyment of the solitude and stars. We encourage you to walk and experience a true "backwoods" experience, but we will drive you down in our Utility Vehicle if needed. We also have pollinator and vegetable gardens and chickens, and we produce maple syrup in the spring. If guests are interested, they may sign up for workshops on carpentry, food preservation, foraging, gardening, bread baking, and kombucha-brewing. We also offer spiritual direction and Enneagram typing and exploration. This experience can be as solitary as a guest would like, or guests can also experience the gift of connecting with others in community.

Connie's Contemplative Cabin
A very peaceful location.
The cabin is set in a very private setting. The view from the deck is amazing. Very clean and well kept. The owners made you feel right at home they were very friendly and helped us take our belongings to the cabin. I am definitely going to book again before the year is over. Can't wait to go back and rest and relax. A perfect spot to forget about the hustle and bustle of our busy life's and enjoy nature.

Connie's Contemplative Cabin
Peaceful Seclusion
We loved our stay at Connie's Cabin so much! Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. My 5 year old son thought the place was "really fun!" We enjoyed building a fire in the woodstove and outside in the fire ring for roasting marshmallows, bird watching, and wandering around the property looking for the frogs we could hear. The star gazing at night was incredible. We were far enough from the other properties to feel totally secluded but the walk to the car was only about 10 minutes and town is only a 10 minute drive away. We enjoyed the nearby Gully Preserve for a waterfall hike. The cabin is so peaceful, I am looking forward to coming back soon! Much thanks to our gracious hosts.
