*Important note: Lake Rd is busy and there will be road noise that dies down after 11pm. There is a historic and active railroad line behind the cabin and you will hear the train pass through the day and night. Some people have found it cool or relaxing but others have not.
Nestled on its own 4-acre parcel within our family's 12-acre plot, this cozy retreat offers a private driveway and setting for your getaway.
New additions this year include a fire ring and porta-potty, adding to the complete experience of your stay. Just a mile down the road, you'll find access to Lake Erie, boasting a small beach and kayak slip. On clear nights, don't miss the opportunity to gaze at the stunning stars above.
Your host, Brian, has infused the cabin with photography and treasures from his global journeys, adding a unique touch to your stay. The hosts philosophy is to not bother you at all during your stay unless you have a specific need or concern, so your stay is all yours. The price is kept low to reflect this a campsite rental, not a hosted Airbnb. With that said every effort is made to make things comfy.

For your safety, please exercise caution when venturing into the woods and avoid approaching the active train tracks located at the back of the property.
While the passing train adds to the rustic charm of the setting, it may NOT be suitable for light sleepers. Road traffic noise tends to calm down in quiet hours.

Creekside now has electric ceiling lights, hot plate, mini fridge, etc. With a king bed (or two twins) and a bunk bed set, the cabin can sleep 4, with room for extra cots if needed. The gazebo has an outlet as well. Please provide your own linens, cooking utensils, dishes, and other camping wear. Cabin can be heated with a woodstove. As of Spring 2026 our cabin is now fully insulated, with tile flooring. Warmer in in cold weather, and cooler during the summer.
Angelica NY is just a few miles up the road, where you will find cute antique shops, dollar general, post office, gas etc.
We love our little slice of private water side camping here in Angelica and hope you will take care of it like it was yours. Please no carving of names or dates in any structure, do not cut or chop down any living tree or vegetation. Our property has a lot of walnut trees- watch for falling nuts come late summer and fall! No dumping or putting anything down toilet pit except toilet paper!

The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. Access to hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing fishing, hunting, geocaching, wildlife viewing, ATV and snowmobile trails are all within a short drive. A handful of golfing options are available within a 30-minute radius or less.
The bridge on the property crosses over the creek and provides access to the area timber lands and Allegheny National Forest. There is a cooperative agreement between the timber lands and ANF which allows for non-motorized, public use. Off trail-hiking is plentiful all around the cabin.
Chapman State Park is about a 10 minute drive.
Kinzua Dam; Jake's Rocks are 20-25 minute drive.

We loved our stay! Made a last minute booking because we were supposed to camp in the Allegheny National Forest but the forecast was all rain. This was a great find because it scratched the camping itch but also was dry and comfortable and convenient! Very quiet and private setting, with a cozy interior. The host was very responsive to my last minute questions. If you’re looking for a rustic backcountry feel with some comforts/amenities, this is a great spot!

A pleasant surprise. Was just looking for a simple 4 wall cabin to avoid a weekend of thunderstorms in a Tent. The site is clean and well maintained. Beds comfy, Owners are great. AND Electric???? unheard of. Water Spigot...Clean (for a campsite) showers and restrooms. Mixed use of cabins, trailers, mobile homes, tents, generally well spread out. They even have a small general store for basics. Location is perfect for jaunts into the National Forest, fishing, hunting spots as well. Could not have asked for anything better. Makin' me rethink tent camping???....ok,,,maybe not.. but great option.

Genuinely, love this cabin and this spot. We have stayed multiple times and will continue to come up! It’s the perfect spot to disconnect and enjoy each other! Ben and his mother are so easy to work with and the nicest people! They continue to upgrade the area too!

This cabin was the perfect retreat from a long drive! While my location was rustic and lacked running water, I had everything I needed (the bed was comfy, the fire pit was beautiful, and there was even an fully charged fan!). The cabin was clean and beautifully simple - my dog and I were both thrilled.
Advice: Bring along a headlamp and simple shoes to slip into at night (for when you need to use the outhouse). Also, consider bringing some additional lighting for inside the cabin at night. Finally, be sure to have plenty of drinking water with you. You can shower at the main house, but all other water needs are up to you.

Such a beautiful location! Feels like a hidden piece of heaven. Our dog Annabelle enjoyed being off leash for the first time, cabin is very cozy, great dvd selection. Entering the creek has some unexpected footing, definitely best to wear water shoes and use some caution until you’re familiar with where you’re hanging out. There were tons of these beautiful dark blue and pale butter yellow butterflies chasing each other around. Best vacation spot we’ve been too so far!

Weekend Trip to The Nest - Creekfront Cabin In ANF
The place was great! Very scenic, and the amenities were outstanding. The cabin itself was a cozy "nest" as the name implies. There was plenty of outdoor space including some a nice gazebo with a grill. We did some kayaking with the provided kayaks. Overall 10/10 highly recommended!

Weekend Trip to Angie's Country Cabins B&B
The love shack cabin was just what we needed as we drive across the country. We love the outdoors and as our vacation comes to end we wanted one more night out in nature. The bed was comfortable and although the hot tub was an option we chose to just hang around our little campfire and grill some steaks. We really enjoyed a relaxing evening at the love shack!

Cutest cabin ever! Was a perfect place for my kid and I to stop and crash for the night on a road trip. The showers! So clean and the nicest camp ground showers I have ever experienced.
Definitely will be back with the whole family at some point for a longer stay.

It was such a peaceful stay, J quickly responded to any questions I had before our stay. Plenty of room for me and my giant dog Bones (he is a 150 Saint Bernard mix). Absolutely recommend the Highlander especially if you are looking to unplug from the digital world for a few days.

If you love camping by yourself this is the place for you. Private, relaxing and has most of the stuff you need. We enjoyed this little slice of heaven. We fished and swam for two wonderful days. Clean, comfy and very cute.

The Nest was as advertised: quiet, away from other cabins, a great opportunity to unplug, and had all the amenities we needed. The creak was so enjoyable to listen to. I would recommend hiking boots for hiking in Minster. The Shaw House in Sheffield is a delicious place for bar food, and reconnecting if you need to. There is a beautiful new covered area with the grill that looks close to new and a new picnic bench. It is however the flattest spot on the site. Be prepared to walk on uneven ground and up/down throughout the site, especially getting to the creek. No problem if you are in shape. I would not recommend it if you have any trouble walking. We tried fishing but no luck getting any nibbles. Loved the swing by the fire pit! The cabin is a bit tight especially if you want to eat inside. Ben and his mom were SUPER communicative. We unfortunately had trouble with the water flow stopping. We drive into town to call Ben and he gave us a few suggestions which unfortunately didn’t work for us so we cut our trip a day short. Ben is easy to work with and does right by his guests. Very trustworthy owner.

Weekend Trip to Creekside on Camp Road
My trip was amazing! The hosts were very accommodating to my last minute trip. The campsite is so cute and has so much allowing you to really pack the fun items and not worry about chairs and tables. The creek was phenomenal. I wanted to give my dog the opportunity to around and stretch his legs. He had so much fun zooming around the property, and using the rush of the creek as a “waterslide”. The fire pit was in a perfect location and provided an awesome cozy atmosphere. Great for people who really enjoy getting full use of a camping location!!

This is a really nice quiet place to relax and unplug. The owner and his family were very helpful and there’s plenty of amenities available while still feeling rather off grid. Got to fish, sit by the fire and enjoy a fresh summer meal off the grill under the pavilion. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!

Perfect way to break up a long road trip. Real easy checking in and out, the cabin experience super convenient, clean and comfortable. So much better than a hotel! Got a great night's sleep, and the next day a hot shower and hit the road rejuvenated. Will definitely stay again if travels take me anywhere near.
