It all started when grandfather Charles B Wright first establish this farm in 1904. He purchased it for its natural springs. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private.
As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping.
Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

Over regulation made it very difficult to manage so we let it lie foul for years.
Then we let a fellow farmer use it to graze his cattle.
Now our children has taking it over and are raising beef cattle on the property.
Our campsite lies on the beautiful two and a half century old LeFevre family farmstead with rich history and stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountain ridge. The property is on a 40-acre old apple orchard that is super private and filled with dramatic views and spectacular sunsets. the locals know our street because of the indigenous people and early Dutch settlers mixing with the slaves. Much history here, with the small town of stone houses, making Hurley a national historic destination.
This serene is secluded on a mountain surrounded by trees with seasonal views. The campsite is neighboring 105 acres of beautiful conservatory land available for hiking. No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities!
The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! We are very appreciative of this beauty and would love to share this sacred place with you.

The property has many interesting aspects including great views, old stone walls, old building foundations, and lots of wildlife. The babbling Brandy Brook runs along the edge of the property and though shallow is ready to dip your toes into. We have cleared multiple trails and they are ready for you to explore.
Local legend says that Mr. Dowe himself lived and farmed here and even had a small distillery on the property.

We have 2 sites available on site: (1) Starlite Stay - a new Coleman Travel Trailer that sleeps 4-6 comfortably and (2) The Meadow - a classic site that can accommodate a tent, a pop up, a travel trailer, or RV. The firepit is shared if both sites are booked. We are located in the Rondout Valley nestled between the Catskill Mountains and the Shawangunk Mountains. Our property has great views, hiking trails, and a serene and babbling brook you can explore or lounge near with a good book! We are a short drive away from the towns of Ellenville and Kerhonkson as well as popular hiking and climbing areas in and around Minnewaska State Park. This is such a cute and cozy location. There are 4 camp sites and a B&B on the premises, along with a nice multi use trail. The host allows the use of a hose for water, but you must bring your own jug to fill up. Also, bring a toilet and portable shower if needed. Picnic table and fire ring provided and some scrap wood is available, I'd grab a couple bundles on the way there though. Best part was the rescue horses on site, our doggie Zoey loved them! Eric was very friendly and communicative as well. Don't forget to Leave it Better!!

Had a wonderful time at Wright’s farm! Tent sites were clean, well spaced, and in a beautiful part of the farm. The farm store is charming and well stocked, and Tammy the host was very responsive.
It would’ve been helpful to get a little guidance upon checking in at the farm store (mainly where the water source was). So make sure to ask for anything you might need before the store closes - there are stores/towns nearby in case you forget something.
Overall highly recommend and especially loved how spacious the sites were!

had a really peaceful couple of nights at the campsite! the host reached out ahead of time and after arrival to check in which was thoughtful. my dog and i enjoyed the trails on the property, and viewing the horses. no other campers while i was there so i had a lot of privacy, but could see straight over to the next site so if others were there it might have felt less private. in any case the property was beautiful, nice sized campsite and well maintained. was perfect for the little getaway we needed!

I loved setting up my Jayco camper right next to the Stonehenge! It was magical. Even though the orchard was dormant, there were beautiful days to enjoy their majestic beauty: the green rolling hills was such a beautiful landscape and the farm store had so many delicious goodies!

straightforward property and management. Pretty self sufficient especially if you have your own rig and equipment. We gave the owner a call when we arrived for instructions. Some noise from nearby road and houses in the vicinity, but still pretty secluded for anyone looking for a quiet retreat from the city. Also, still cell service in case you need it. Would love to see the winery in action in the summer.

We recently visited Ralph's horse farm and it was just what we needed! We brought our truck camper and used Ralph's one RV spot because we wanted the electrical hookup. The site was a gravel pad plenty big enough for our truck (Ford F350) and the site had 50amp service which was nice. The site is fairly close to the house but there are no other sites near it and there is a pasture right behind it with a fire pit a little ways from the site so it was actually surprisingly private and very quiet. We were very happy to not be 20 feet away from another RV for a change. Ralph and his son were very friendly and welcoming and even offered us a little tour of the stables and we were able to meet some of their horses. We also brought our two dogs who Ralph also welcomed. Ralph told us there were a bunch of more rustic sites out towards the wooded section of his property without power and we were going to walk out there to see them but we ended up just doing alot of lounging. There are also alot of wineries nearby and during the day we visited Angry Orchards and Whitecliff Winery which was very nice. If you have a group of friends who like tent camping, Ralph also has a larger group site for a bigger group. We chose a cold weekend to go and it got down to 25 degrees at night but we plan to come back again in the warmer weather. Thanks Ralph!
