The last day for shower use is Oct 15th. You’re more than welcome to bring your own portable shower hook up and use the shower house for privacy. We apologize for any inconvenience. You will need to have a cigarette lighter access to use the shower to power the pump. We recommend bringing flashlights as our property is solar powered and there is no electric on the property. On low sunny days, solar lights may not last as long into the evening. On rainy days the property can be very muddy and access to the top of the hill to the sites would be best accessed with a 4WD vehicle as well as winter time with snow on the ground. If you'd like to charge your phone we advise you to bring back up battery packs as there is now electric hook ups on site. The most private sites are Cloud 9, Bunny Pit and Lilou's Landing. The cottage is located down by the main house and not at the top of the hill. This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. This place was so great that when I sent photos to my wife she told me to get three more nights, called out sick from work on Friday and hopped on a bus to meet me. Hiking path. Clean. Nicely mowed. You can barely see your neighbor over the meadow. In my wife's book it gets extra credit for being down the street from a historic church - we walked there on Sunday for services.
