How we ended up in Knife Lake Township on 81 acres of forested land. We began looking for land in late fall of 1996. After several months of searching, we happened upon a tiny newspaper ad for 81 acres of land described as "Beautiful, secluded, mature hardwoods, tall pines w/creek & beaver pond, many gd bldg sites & great hunting". We toured the property, covered in almost two feet of snow, on a snowmobile in January 1997 and fell in love with it. We have been stewards of this piece of land for 25 years and are still enamored of its beauty and diversity. We are lulled to sleep by the sounds of owls and bullfrogs and the distant yipping of coyotes. Spring through fall we are often awakened by the rattling, honking of sandhill cranes and a wide variety of bird songs. Besides deer and lots of small critters, we've seen bear, bobcat, rafters of turkeys, quail, grouse, pheasant, owls, hawks and eagles. The sky, on a clear night, is breathtaking. We have always visualized sharing the land with others, so come and immerse yourself in this bountiful space.

I loved staying in the Alpha Tent on Kim’s Farm. She brought me delicious beef stew for supper and I read a good book. Waking up to see the cows and donkeys was fun too.

Weekend Trip to Alpha and Omega Pizza Farm

We booked a late Fall trip to the farm and it exceeded all expectations. The farm setting was beautiful and charming. It was a great spot to hang out. We arrived in the late afternoon after hiking. One extras we added was dinner, so a little more than and hour after arriving and getting settled in, a crock of steaming hot beef stew and fresh bread was delivered tent side. We also added the Sauna/Cold Plunge package, so a couple hours after dinner we put on our suits and wandered over the wood-fired sauna. Talk about perfect. A few steamy rounds later and final plunge, we dried off and headed back to the tent to settle in front of the campfire. It was all really perfect. The tent was cozy and toasty warm with the stove. They've set up the experience so you have everything you need to have a great time. We're scheming to come back with friends, family or both!

Comfortable and well-equipped glamping tent, and we were very warm between the bedding and wood stove on a 30-some degree night. Kim was a wonderful host! The pizzas were delicious, as were the cinnamon rolls in the morning. We would definitely return!

Rustic and cute. Nice escape from the city even just for a night. Even had pizzas on a Sunday while we were there which also were great. Warm and cozy with blankets and fire despite the cold and rain. Fun to see all the animals too

The Alpha Tent was a great getaway! It poured rain for a lot of the time. They provided games and setup a fire during a few hour respite from the downpours. Breakfast was very tasty with coffee and homemade caramel rolls. The bed was comfy and warm with little lights for the inside and outside spaces. The farm animals and spaces were fun to see and clever, like a basketball hoop in grain wagon!

We loved our stay at Alpha and Omega Farm! Kim and Brad are so warm and welcoming—it felt like visiting old friends. We booked one of the glamping tents and arrived to a cool, rainy evening (about 45°). As soon as we got the little stove going, the whole tent filled with cozy vibes. It made the sauna and cold plunge experience even more memorable—nothing like warming up after a brisk dip! That evening, we enjoyed the most incredible pizza made with homemade plum sauce and prosciutto—absolutely divine. My mother-in-law was visiting from Hawaii, and we wanted to give her a truly memorable Minnesota experience—this was perfect. The next morning, our two-year-old was thrilled to meet the donkey and goats, which was such a sweet touch to our stay. The hot coffee delivered right to our tent that morning was the cherry on top. Would absolutely 10/10 recommend Alpha and Omega—especially for cooler nights!
