We are closed for the Winter starting the 4th of December 2023. We look forward to welcoming you in Spring - bookings starting in March 2024! This is a 10-acre part of a larger 110-acre property, This section is reserved for tents, camping vans, and small trailers 20' or less. The river is great for small children to wade and swim in during the summer. During spring, the water is up higher for kayaks and canoes. Seasonal sites are 20' from the river, and a wonderful place to fall asleep and wake up to a babbling river. Learn more about this land: The camping area is ten acres alongside the Ground House River. There are fish in the river, and the water level fluctuates for tubing or kayaking. The property borders with state land used for horse riding, and great for biking

Site 6 - The Camps at The Vineyard
It is primitive, with a creek running through it, just the way camping should be!

There is a reason it is cheap
This review is on Hipcamp itself. I reserved a specific site according to the site map provided. Turns out that doing my due diligence was a waste of time . The site had people living in it and was NOT available for camping. Instead we were given a choice of " spots" in a field next to a slow, but loud, dirt, wash board road. Next to someone living in a tiny home box. This place is more like the beginnings of a decent tiny home community. Not a great experience. Carl seemed ok , but I never got that firewood we discussed on the phone. He seemed more concerned with chatting and having a good time with one of his tenants, which did nothing but aggravate our dogs. My wife had to walk the dogs to break their attention from the loud guy in a truck.

10/10!!! We will be coming back!!!
This was so amazing!! It’s exactly what my husband and I needed for a little us time!! This was our first solo camping experience and it was perfect🥰. It’s a very fend for yourself kinda feel. Which is exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Site 9 - (Ground Bee alert)
The sites were fairly close together but had enough greenery in between to make them feel private. The land is beautiful and the campsite was very quiet and peaceful. The sites are close to the river but it was dry when we stayed. It was still fun to walk the dry riverbed and explore and our dogs loved it!
