Absolutely love sunny oaks! One of the nicest RV parks in the Jacksonville area! Highly recommend, it’s clean, quiet, the residents and management are extremely friendly and accommodating, there bathrooms and showers are kept immaculate, laundry on site and they don’t gouge you on the prices of anything! If u need a place to stay with your rv or travel trailer in Jacksonville don’t go anywhere else!!

3 nights at Tiny House + Marina near springs!

Very nice tiny home on the water, loved the sunset and abundant wildlife, gators, turtles, cranes, even saw a momma otter and her two babies. Boat ramp is decent, should be deep enough for boats up to 20ft but it was very shallow in most parts. Just stick to the marked areas. Will definitely be back, great place to unwind and far from the more crowded areas.

Weekend Trip to Luxury Hut with 5 Star Amenities

The host was super kind, helpful, and responsive. They had an incredible space, very clean, and great energy. I'm excited to see what they do with their other spaces and would absolutely stay again!

Well shaded, quiet and relaxing. Lots of areas to relax, hammock, outdoor furniture, bug screen gazebo. The outdoor shower has lots of hot water, the Porta potty was clean and well maintained. Kitchen area is more than adequate plus there is a really nice barbecue. There are some free roaming cats around but they seem to stay away from humans, the next yard has chickens but they were all quiet. There is some of the biggest geckos there. I am sure I'll go back.

Our stay at Runaway Bay was delicious in every way! From the moment we stepped onto the property we could feel the care that Kennedy and Christina take in meeting the needs of each guest. It was our gift to ourselves for our first night as husband and wife to step out of our comfort zones and Runaway Bay was the perfect physical and energetic space to begin our journey as a couple. Weekend Trip to Cozy Freedom at Earthperks Farm

What a treasure to find! The #2 tent spot is secluded enough for complete privacy, but close enough to the main house that I felt safe, camping alone as a woman. All the ammenities are there, water and standard 120v electric at the site, picnic table, fire pit and well-maintained grounds. It's approx. a 25 min drive to the Speedway and downtown. This is now where I will stay every tine I visit Daytona. I attended Jeep week. When I arrived, I knew my initial accomodations weren't going to work for me, I needed a quiet spot to wind down at night. I reached out and Mindy responded right away, answered all of my questions and I was booked within 20 mins. She even sent me a detailed map and instructions on how to find my spot, the showers and the kitchen. As an Airbnb host of several units myself, my expectations can be high. This is a hidden gem so near to downtown.

I liked the camping site it was quiet and peaceful the check in easy. The person incharge was nice and polite. The only thing is they need to work on the heart shaped pool thing to make it a lot cleaner other than that it was good.

We were so excited to get to this camp! It was amazing! Tent was so fun! The kids loved it! The spring was cool, there was grass at the bottom and the kids were screaming because it was touching them it was so funny! The mud bath spot was amazing! It was our favorite!

2 nights at Wooded areas in a horse pasture

Gayle has a beautiful property with a pasture being used just for campers. There are firepits scattered around the large area. She welcomes guests to see the horses, chickens, cats and dogs, which roam the property. I would certainly bring earplugs, especially if you're in a tent as a loud train goes by a couple of times in the night. There is only one outhouse for all guests, which may not be enough if it gets busy. Expect rustic, but pretty with nice vibes.

1 night at Camp Seminole Springs

Former Girl Scout property, so it’s ideal camping property. The spring swimming hole is clean, beautiful and not as cold as most. Property has a rich history and the owner is very willing to share his knowledge with passionate detail. Under his ownership, this land has a bright future of enhancements while preserving its charm. Check out the est. 500 year old Live Oak near property entrance and the working grist mill at the spring head that doubles as a nice studio cabin with hot tub. Wonderful and relaxing stay.

Weekend Trip to THE Farmstay for Animal Lovers!

What an amazing stay. The wagon was beautiful and clean. We had everything that we needed and the beds were very comfy. We loved sitting by the fire pit and enjoying the nature around us. I really loved feeding the animals and having them roam around freely around you was a treat ! Elaine was a lovely host and very attentive. I would definitely go back! Thank you Elaine for a wonderful weekend.

What a piece of 'old Florida' paradise! The cabin was absolutely perfect for a quiet, unplugged weekend. Highly recommended!!! The cabin has everything you need to make modest meals and the beds are comfy. We especially enjoyed the sweet cat, fireflies at night, reading on the dock, and watching the ducks bathe. We are definitely going to be back! Side note - the dock was pretty shallow when we were there (water is low in general right now), so I would check with Christina about your boat draft before booking with your own boat.

Limited number of campsites with Tents on them in a variety of sizes available. First come, First serve. These sites will have a slight upcharge. We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge will be ready by Fall 2022. Whereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim. At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

If you get bored, there is plenty to do nearby: Goldhead Park, a paved Bike Trail, Jacksonville, St Augustine, High Springs, Ocala and Gainesville are all within an hour's drive. We are 30-45 minutes from Jacksonville, birthplace of the Blue Angels, and 15 minutes from downtown St. Augustine, the nation's oldest continuously occupied city. Message me for discounts on long-term stays. Learn more about this land: Bring your tent, van or small camper and share our slice of paradise! You'll have the camp site all to yourself--we sometimes need to water the garden, but otherwise avoid the camping area when it's occupied. Enjoy a variety of seating areas on our half acre lot full of fruit trees and flowers, or watch the sunset from the hot tub. Camping is easy with washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, coffee pot, toaster and blender, all in an air-conditioned shed. Don't want to cook inside? Use the propane Jennair grill with gazebo and lights. Clean up is a breeze with our stainless steel triple sink and 4 gal hot water tank.
