We have two primitive campsites These campsites are first come first serve, they are not assigned when booking. Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags. The tents are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent. Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience. There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim. At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

The grant was held for 35 years before Maria Garzon, who survived husband Antonio, sold the land they called Garzon’s Point to Joseph (Jose) Bonifay. The land uses were favorable for cattle grazing and turpentining through the 1800s. Many more pioneer families moved into the area and began their own business in the booming industrial opportunities of western Florida. It came to be known as Yellow River Marsh State Buffer Preserve on June 12, 2000, when it was purchased by the state of Florida to protect rare and environmentally sensitive lands, plants and animals. Through generous donations, Preservation 2000 and the Florida Forever Program, more land was added to protect contiguous habitat of the Garcon Ecosystem. Today Yellow River Marsh Preserve State Park provides recreational opportunities for hiking and nature study along the Great Florida Birding Trail among rare and endemic plant species and within one of Florida’s oldest multi-cultural frontiers.The preserve is located in Santa Rosa County on Garcon Point, which separates Escambia Bay from Blackwater Bay. Navarre Beach Camping Resort is located in Navarre, FL. We have 99 rv sites 29 cabins and three travel trailers. We are on the water, the Santa Rosa Sound, it is an intercoastal water way. We are a ten minute drive to Navarre Beach. Fishing, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding are fun things to do in the area. Learn more about this land: Back-in standard sites throughout the park have full hook-up and will accommodate up to twenty five foot campers. You park your RV on a sand, dirt pad, you have a concrete pad and a picnic table. Site comes with water, sewer, electric, wifi and cable. Some sites have shade. None of our sites are shaded all day long. Every site is a short walk to our beach.

We had a incredible time at Lucky U Ranch. Our son absolutely loved all the donkey and horses that roamed freely as well as we did including the tour with goats and pigs and miniature horses. Definitely would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!!! Absolutely incredible!!!!!

1 night at Bay Forest Retreat

I try to make it a routine to go camping with my son every time I visit him. This campsite has everything I could ask for: courteous owners, easy to follow instructions, wonderful set up at the campsite and easy access to a beach. He had an absolute blast, helping me build, and maintain a fire, walk around the entire campsite, and many hours well spent in the water. I’ll be visiting this campsite again.

Weekend Trip to JB Resort

My partner Ray and I loved staying in the “cabin” camper. Everything was immaculate and all the comforts if home. All the other campers were really nice and fun. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Jaime and Bolton are excellent hosts and keep the campground in excellent condition. We’ll definitely be returning!

Beautiful little spot, I wish we could’ve stayed an extra night. The trail around the property is so pretty, especially at night. I loved being able to take the dogs into the spring in the middle of the property and kayak around it. The glamping tents had everything we needed and more with a beautiful view!

I loved the A-frame cabin, it was cute and cozy. it had everything you need for a good stay like plates, cups, and ice maker, a roku tv, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom and outdoor shower were so nicely decorated. The plants all around the porch are a nice touch too. the only down side i can think of is the huge cockroaches i saw in the morning, but outside of those it was lovely

Weekend Trip to Bay Forest Retreat

What a beautiful property within a short drive of where we live. I really enjoyed spending the day out by their bay front. Having access to kayaks was a special treat, because I’ve never kayaked before. The glamper tent was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also plenty of space between the 2 glamper sites to give some privacy. It was also a special treat to enjoy the wildlife. We enjoyed watching the Royal Terns diving into the water for fish, and the mullet jumping out of the water. I had the special privilege of seeing a rabbit stop on the trail and stand in front of me for a solid 30 seconds. At night, fireflies flashed around the tree line. We heard a whippoorwill off in the distance, another amazing treat. Definitely saving this campsite as a go-to weekend getaway. What you get vs the low cost of their glamper sites is unbeatable. The Florida panhandle is so full of beauty in its nature. It’s amazing that there’s still a chunk of natural Florida left in Navarre, and the hosts are so willing to share it with others.

This glamping tent on East Bay in Navarre was everything we hoped for and more. The listing was completely accurate—the space was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. And the Bay was just a short walk from the campsite. It felt like the perfect mix of camping and comfort. We also appreciated how reasonably priced it was compared to similar stays. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing escape, this is definitely the place. Highly recommend!

The Wandering Path is an amazing and peaceful getaway. The yurts offer the perfect setup for any season and eliminates a lot of packing. Amanda’s property has everything you need…the cleanest bathhouse I have yet to see and an awesome communal outdoor kitchen. There are primitive sites as well. The creek that runs along the property is crystal clear water with white sand banks throughout. It is deep enough to kayak or shallow enough to walk in and enjoy. The Wandering Path is the ultimate getaway location!

It was a very comfortable and pleasant cabin. Everything needed for a short or long term stay. Bring only clothes and groceries. The cabin was quaint, decorated nicely. I sat by the fire with my morning coffee. It was great.

What a lovely escape. I stayed at Trudy and Greg’s eclectic rescue farm in the colorful tiny house accompanied by all the chickens and roosters that provide the fresh eggs for breakfast and your alarm clock in the morning. They made it very welcoming and the inside was cozy, cold a/c, a frig, and tv …with a full bathroom that I appreciated as a “glamper.” The animals were a highlight! Shin their pup could chase a ball forever and he was a delight. Ms Calico came for dinner every night. The horses loved extra treats as well. They try to make your experience one to remember with a painting station under the big oaks and the star gazing is something you have to do! Walk the trails at sunset and enjoy a roasted marshmallow by the evening fire.

Sweet little spot that feels very private even though there were other campers around. The layout of the campground is very intentional and thoughtful. Fresh eggs, outdoor shower, and pre-built fire were excellent touches, as others have said. I was worried their might be competition for the toilet or shower, but it was never an issue.
