Very helpful when backing in. Fire pit and picnic table available. Water and electric hookups were great. We paid for the dump station but didn’t end up using it and they gave us a refund for it. Very nice people and nice fenced in yard. It is right beside a train track, but that didn’t bother us since we were used to that already.

What a wonderful experience! We took a 40’ motor home in and out easily. It’s also close to the main road in and out. Tommy and Tiffany are both wonderful people, very inviting and the camping spaces are quite private and quiet with views of horses in a pasture and goats occasionally herded one way or another. The community is awesome, very welcoming, and the onsite Rigby’s offers good food and great live music. There is a new small building with restrooms and a shower in one of them. Electric, up to 50amp (bring an adapter if you are set up for 30 amp) and water hookups. Dump station right next to property. Definitely recommend. I will go here again

Not only were our hosts helpful way we needed a rubber washer on our RV maiden voyage, but the property is Oh so special! We saw big sky stars, and heard lovely birds singing, visited the horses and goats. The cream on the top of this extra special place is Rigby’s on property for all things restaurant bar ice cream. Rigby The Dog comes by to check on the tables. We happened to go on a Saturday night and caught some wonderful live music ! We can’t wait to be back. The hook ups all worked great, and there is a dump station on site.

Staying at Mountain View offered a wholly different experience from your average campsite. It offered the beauty of the animals - horses, dogs, chickens - all that you find on a working ranch. It offers, if you choose, the chance to observe and appreciate the morning routines of a life with animals, the feeding and tending, the necessary care. All through the comfort of your space. We sat under the trees enjoying the sun setting beyond the pastures. Pretty idyllic and unique. We did have a one off experience. As we turned into the driveway of the property with our trailer another vehicle was coming towards us. It was a black truck with a young driver who didn’t realize she could back up and let us pass. Instead she drove off the driveway, over the lawn and around us. This, we understood, caused a leak on the property which required a crew to work on the property for the two days we were there. They were considerate fellows except that they unplugged the power to our trailer both days which caused complications for our refrigeration. It was unfortunate as otherwise this site is highly recommendable and enjoyable.

One of very few places to camp in Boulder, Co. The host is friendly and helpful. There is a great view of the mountains and it's a safe quiet place to stay. There is plenty of activity around the horses, so if you want something really private I would camp elsewhere, but we had no problem with it.

We are a Full Grass, 6-acre campground at the base of Rabbit Mountain. The Little Thompson River runs through the property and is wonderful to take a dip in. Carter Lake is only a 5-minute drive away. 20 Minutes away from Longmont Colorado is far enough away that you can escape from the city but close enough to be able to run into town if you need anything. As long as you are by your post, we don't care how you park, pull in, back in, pull through, we are easy going. Welcome to our charming 2-acre meadow nestled in East Boulder. Just minutes from town - near bike trails, shops and restaurants. A great pitstop on your way to or from the mountains - or base camp for the adventures in Front Range. We aren't fancy, but we are convenient, cozy and safe. Gate code will be provided 48 hours before arrival. We have spots in the meadow for Tents, Motorhomes, Vans, Trailers, and Rooftop setups. The grounds are a bit sloped but we've got leveling boards (please leave them behind). We've got the world's best eggs, a few walking paths through tall wild grasses, a campfire ring, solar shower, wading pool, gas grill, a table and a lovely porta-jon. We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out. We have a community fire pit with free burn wood, though the big logs are few and far between; your own firewood is recommended - as well as an ax or saw. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!! We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter). - CLOSED FOR THE WINTER We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. I just built a new filter!! It’s a saving grace in the summertime. - CLOSED FOR THE WINTER We have a community gas grill - please donate to the propane fund. Please help yourself to eggs up at the coop - look for the Venmo QR and WATCH OUT FOR THE ROOSTER! The chickens free range during the day, so please MIND YOUR DOG. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for main park, or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.) Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. Ask Dot for details. The charming town of Lyons is 20 minutes away with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, lots of great live music, and quaint shops.
