We are right next door to the Pineries Open Space which is a 9 mile trail that you can hike, bike, or horse ride on. It also connects (by crossing a road) to Section 16 which is another 4 mile trail. You can bring your own horses and for a $50 fee we will set up corral panels for your horses to stay. We have farm animals that will be wondering about the land at times. I bought this land to move from Houston Learn more about this land: In by 2PM, out be 1:30OM. I widened the gate and moved my mailbox for easier access. Butane fire rings allowed on private property during a fire ban . Camp anywhere on 60 acres. In one direction there are rolling meadow. Another rocky outcropping. Look to the south and you’ll see the BLM land that shares my fence line. If you want access to town you’re there. You choose how you want to feel. In the woods, in the forest, on huge rocks, flat land or turn around and see CR 1 ( 1/4 mile driveway). Forty five minutes west of Colorado Springs, ten miles to Divide for grocers. One half mile to ice, gas, pizza etc.  It is first come first serve with the sites.  Two that are near trees for large RVs.  One up higher works for pull thru trailers.  Plenty of room in the pasture.  I just got my first negative review referring to it being dry prairie land.  Some  pictures are from late last summer..  We haven’t had enough rain yet for it to green up.  Also it can be windy.

The owner was amazingly accommodating and switched us to blueberry camp which was very accessible! We will definitely be making a tradition of returning to yakalo! Just make sure you have 4 wheel drive and get there while it’s light out, the drive is a bit scary when people are speeding down the mountain. It is across from the petting zoo where you will see donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We have one rooster in the petting zoo so you won't need to bring your alarm clock. Lol

This site was lovely. We need a location close to Denver to be able to run back and forth with kids sports and this location proved great for this. The kids loved being able to interact with the goats, donkey's and horses. The host was very responsive to our inquiries. The location was in close proximity to Palmer Lake, which we loved. All-in-all a good time.

Weekend Trip to Cabin, RV & RV Site by Muller Park

We absolutely loved it here! We cannot wait to go back next year. Easy back-in RV spot. Dan met us when we arrived and even helped us set up our pop-up. Our kids loved Dan and all the cool things he had around his property to show them. The wildlife was plentiful!

Campsite #2 is located approximately 120 yards from Fox Farm Road. The site is outlined with tree trunks and has a sign. You can pull in or back into the site.

Weekend Trip to Blue Mountain Ranch

This is one of the most beautiful camp sites we have been to this year. Tim is great to work with and we appreciate him for sharing this property with us. If you get a chance to book, I would highly suggest you do. Spending time fishing with my young grandaughter was the best part of our trip. and the fishing was excellent. I also loved being able to take my dogs without any worries. Just a beautiful property.

Very quiet, secluded, and away from people camp. 8800’ elevation, water, and fun hosts who host a communal campfire each night. Very dog friendly, abcs a fun return to our earlier tent camping days.
