Cabins near Colorado Springs guide

Overview

Although Colorado Springs is the second-largest urban area in the state, it feels very much like a mountain town—especially given that its cabin rentals are set against the backdrop of the perpetually snow-capped Rocky Mountains. As such, it’s the perfect place to head for a mountain cabin getaway, whether you want to explore the Garden of the Gods or head out for hiking, biking, and horseback riding in nearby San Isabel National Forest. Many of the best Colorado Springs cabins, family-vacation cottages, and pet-friendly vacation rentals are just a short drive from downtown Colorado Springs, offering outdoor adventure with easy access to town, plus glamping amenities such as hot tubs, wifi, fire pits, and air conditioning. Many area hideaways are near Cheyenne Mountain State Park, while you’ll find log cabins and mountain views at the base of the nearby Pikes Peak region, the tallest mountain in the Rocky Mountain Front Range.
