We are located on 35 acres just east of Denver International Airport. The views of the airport, along with airplanes flying in and out, provide an interesting contrast against the mountain backdrop.
The property is farmland, although we practice no-till farming and do our best to minimize our impact on local wildlife. A diverse population of birds calls the property home, with burrowing owls being our favorite. You may also spot the occasional antelope or deer.
At night, you'll hear the coyote packs that live in the area. While we've never had any incidents, we still recommend keeping pets indoors at night.
Meanwhile, enjoy the stars, as there is very little light pollution and the sky is clear most nights. Mornings and evenings are the most beautiful, but it can get quite hot during the middle of the day since there is no shade at the campsites. Shade tents and umbrellas are recommended, weather and wind permitting.
We are located on the eastern plains, where the wind can sometimes become a nuisance. Although windstorms usually don't last more than a few hours, there is often a steady breeze throughout much of the day.

This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the covered gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1. The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Gnome room in the "pop-up" tent and cots (during the Summer months). We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... (a little tutorial is needed) a sink and a trough step-in tub/shower with rain head. Wifi- Roku on inside TV as well or just the calm of beautiful nature!

Now it is enveloping your restful night under the starry sky of Colorado. The space offers you a coffee maker, a water kettle, water dispenser, BBQ and electricity. You will enjoy the delightful back side view of the famous Hogback mountain.
Just a few steps away from your campsite you will find our bath house with a clean portable toilet, hot shower and hand sink. You also will find a fridge inside, where you can keep your refreshments and your food fresh and cool. It is entirely made from reclaimed materials and it adds glamor and luxury to your glamping experience! To minimize our environmental impact, we use a greywater system. The liquid soap provided is a diluted, biodegradable formula that nourishes our garden as it drains. While it may feel lighter than conventional soap, rest assured it's gentle on both your skin and the environment.
We do our best to provide many of the comforts of a home for your "glamping" experience but make sure you are prepared to stay in the great outdoors which includes bugs and it is still camping. If you are afraid of bugs or occasional spiders this might not be for you. We cannot control the changes that both weather and the surrounding environment may cause. Although we provided an extra blanket and the tent has mosquito nets, we encourage bringing bug spray, warm clothes, flash lights, extra drinking water and other items you might need to make your stay pleasant. Please be aware of the weather and plan to dress accordingly. The bed is equipped with a heated mattress bed.

Stayed at Campsite 1 in our 29ft travel trailer and loved it! At the campsite there’s a pond that the horses like to visit. At the petting zoo the goats and donkeys run straight up to you to say hi! Teresa was so nice and welcoming and the forest on her land is thriving and healthy. We would definitely stay here again!

Stephanie is an amazing host, she was very communicative, helpful and understanding to our needs. The A-frame offered epic views that are unmatched. The setup is cozy, and private, allowing for a very secluded feeling. The furnishings and amenities such as the propane burners and the battery pack gave us the opportunity to cook and charge throughout the week. Whether we were outside under moon and the stars, peeking through the pines, or watching the sunrise over Castle Rock, from the comfort of the A-frame, every moment we spent here came with breathtaking beauty serenity. We will absolutely be returning, and we will be raving about this stay for years to come, patiently waiting for our opportunity to return.

I stayed here in a tent for 3 nights, while in Colorado on a motorcycle riding trip. Patrick and Brooke were great. Very friendly, but not annoying, which is important to an introvert like myself. The solar shower worked great on a sunny 90 degree day. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for simple place to stay in this area. The one thing I will say is for other motorcyclists, the driveway can be sketchy on a big touring bike. Smaller bikes would have no problems.

Brooke had such a cute set up with the pool/shower spot for use. The portapotty was very clean. Location was easy to find and I really enjoyed our stay. I will definitely book this spot again in the future!

The space did its job; needed somewhere to stay close to Nederland/ Boulder. Yes, that rooster reminded us that it was his land but it was adorable.

I would highly recommend this camp ground and Site B. It's a beautiful setting and very spacious. We loved the feeling of camping with lots of room and not crammed in like other camp grounds. The portopotty was clean, well maintained, lots of TP and pretty much specific to the campsite. Our morning walk along the dirt road was beautiful. We had an SUV, a campervan, and an 8 person tent (with 2 people) and plenty of room. The monsoon rains channeled the road in some places so a very low car might have challenges, but we were fine. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much!

It’s rare to find a decent camp spot in a city, much less a great one with greenery and animals that’s walking distance to restaurants and bus stops. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to traveling friends. Paul and his partner are great as well.
