Beautiful sunrises greet you in the morning, and breathtaking sunsets over the Front Range say goodnight at the end of the day.
We are located on 35 acres just east of Denver International Airport. The views of the airport, along with airplanes flying in and out, provide an interesting contrast against the mountain backdrop.
The property is farmland, although we practice no-till farming and do our best to minimize our impact on local wildlife. A diverse population of birds calls the property home, with burrowing owls being our favorite. You may also spot the occasional antelope or deer.
At night, you'll hear the coyote packs that live in the area. While we've never had any incidents, we still recommend keeping pets indoors at night.
Meanwhile, enjoy the stars, as there is very little light pollution and the sky is clear most nights. Mornings and evenings are the most beautiful, but it can get quite hot during the middle of the day since there is no shade at the campsites. Shade tents and umbrellas are recommended, weather and wind permitting.
We are located on the eastern plains, where the wind can sometimes become a nuisance. Although windstorms usually don't last more than a few hours, there is often a steady breeze throughout much of the day.

The camping space is a 1/3 acre field adjacent to a barn and barn-yard with goats and chickens who love to interact with people. It is 15 minutes from Red Rocks park / amphitheater and walking/biking distance to two scenic lakes/parks (Sloans lake and Crown Hill). “Red Rocks Paradise” is unique and unlike anything else you'll find in the area. As soon as you park your car, a beautiful pathway lit with solar torches will lead you toward the guest sites. The sites are set back at the far end of our 3-acre property, next to a small creek bordering open space.
Colorado has a high-desert climate, so the landscape changes with the seasons. Expect lush green surroundings in spring and more golden and brown tones later in summer, especially during dry years. Photos on our listing represent different seasons.
Just a few steps from the guest sites, you'll find our shared bathhouse with a clean portable toilet, hot shower, hand sink, and shared refrigerator where you can keep food and refreshments cool. The bathhouse is made almost entirely from reclaimed materials, adding a unique touch to your camping or glamping experience. To minimize our environmental impact, we also use a greywater system.

Our 3-acre property is both our home and our working creative space. It is an evolving property, and you may pass working, storage, landscaping, or project areas on your way to the guest sites. These areas are separate from the camping and glamping spaces.
The guest areas are located toward the back of the property, next to the creek and open space, where we've created peaceful, comfortable spaces to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and Hogback views.
We're continually landscaping, improving, and transforming the property into the sustainable retreat we envision. Our property isn't a traditional commercial campground. Stayed at Campsite 1 in our 29ft travel trailer and loved it! At the campsite there’s a pond that the horses like to visit. At the petting zoo the goats and donkeys run straight up to you to say hi! Teresa was so nice and welcoming and the forest on her land is thriving and healthy. We would definitely stay here again!
