Mona was very responsive and easy to work with. We booked last minute/same day and even arrived late into the evening and things went very smooth. The property is a gem and our kids really enjoyed the private beach and beautiful waterfront. We have a 28’ travel trailer and had no issues pulling in or out. Would absolutely stay again and for longer than 1 night for sure! Thanks again!

Weekend Trip to Camp SourBerry (near Yosemite)

Camp SourBerry was an excellent place to spend the evening before beginning my Yosemite adventure. The campsite was clean and the surroundings were beautiful. I also found it to be quiet and the right distance from town…not too far and not too close. The hosts were friendly, kind, and willing to answer my questions. I also sensed they genuinely cared for my well-being. It was so great to meet them and I would stay there again without any hesitation!

Weekend Trip to The Ahwahnee Camp

Brian and Ashley’s property is tucked away but also close to many beautiful spots. The place is well-kept and the site offers privacy and comfort. The bathroom is a plus and water access made it easier for us. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like picnic tables, food storage, marked and lit trails for walking at night and of course the pool facing the nice view of the mountains nearby. Additionally, having access to the deck is pretty cool, we enjoyed staying at the fire pit before calling it the night. Brian was friendly, flexible, responsive and went above and beyond. He even helped with pitching the tent and giving great recommendations! 👌🏼 You can tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. Whether you’re looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, or just have a peaceful getaway, this place checks every box. Highly recommended! 💯

2 nights at Dunlap Canyon Retreat

Had a great stay at the Dunlap retreat. Bathroom & showers were fantastic. We camped on RV lot #1 which is closest to the bathroom. The Hipcamp app is a little confusing. The photos make it seem that you're site includes a Yurt which is not the case. Awesome views of nearby mountains.

2 nights at Remeadies Intoxicating Potions

We had a great experience Remeadies! Jennifer and John were wonderful hosts. They took us through a really fun tasting. We had some of the focaccia which was excellent, and my family made pizza with them for one of our night stays, which was a real treat. The camping location is close to the national parks, quiet and beautiful. We would definitely stay there again. We are also really enjoyed the mead and ended up buying some to take home. It was delicious. We got a great education on the process of making mead and the history behind it.

Loved the location. Beautiful views all around you. Breath taking sunsets with the sound of the waterfall was wonderful. Thank you shandie, we will be back.

1 night at Musick Creek Falls

Gorgeous views, granite falls, small and quiet! What more could we ask for?! Turns out - time is what we wanted more of in this spot. The spring nearby, the provided bench and sun cover were helpful, too. We were a group of 4 + 1 dog, staying in our way to a longer hike further in the mountains, and this location was perfect.

4 nights at Camp Hye Sierra

Tent camping lakeside was perfect. Location was great too. Very close to the General Grant entrance of Kings Canyon. Plenty of amenities available. Went out in a canoe multiple times. Kids fished off the dock and had some pretty good luck. We all enjoyed swims in the lake. Plenty of firewood at the communal fire pit. Flushing toilets and running water was nice. The bathroom did have a lot of dead bugs, but were great once cleaned. Trash cans emptied regularly. Chris was our on-property point of contact. He was super helpful and responsive.

This campsite was incredible. The multiple private falls were so beautiful and peaceful and the host was so kind. Great location, great amenities, great campsite.

I had a family emergency (family member rushed to the hospital ) the night I was supposed to stay at Shandies. She was so understanding and awesome and worked with me to help get a refund. Really so appreciate her!

1 night at Hidden Falls Yosemite Camp

This spot was amazing—peaceful, spacious, and truly secluded. We had a huge area all to ourselves, with a beautiful view of the creek below and small waterfalls in the distance. It felt like our own private retreat just outside of Yosemite. A perfect place to unwind after exploring the park. Highly recommend if you're looking for quiet and nature-filled camping!

Private lot with a good shade. Adam is very attentive and makes sure things are right. Yosemite National Park was not very far away.

2 nights at Musick Creek Falls

We loved tent camping at Shandies and Jesses incredible land!Shandie was very welcoming and gave us a quick run down of the land and some direction. We camped with kids.The campsite is a little at an incline but level in some areas mostly dirt. We had a 6 person and a 4 person tent.I would say it fit two 4 person tents or just the 6 person for this site. there was a picnic table covered by a netted gazebo with a lantern which was nice because we didn’t bring ours. Shandie let us use two umbrellas for a little more shade.The site wasn’t too big but definitely enough room for the 5 of us.They provide a delicious fresh spring tap! We followed a recommended path down our campsite to a beautiful waterfall and natural pools. The scenery and energy of the land was just intoxicating.The natural pools and waterfalls really help you appreciate such a simple pleasure. We saw fish, a turtle, a tiny little green snake and beautiful butterflies/dragonflies.The rocks can be very slippery! We all took precautions but still all fell with water shoes lol.The experience was unforgettable we stayed two nights and the weather was bearable.The day heats up quick but the water and little shaded areas near trees are very refreshing we had a little breeze at times.The night sky was dark and lit with stars!It was beautiful.the sunsets are unforgettable and my kids are already planning a trip to come back next year we want to try out a different site.There’s two fire pits on this site &clean outhouse.

We are located between both, so you have the best access to both attractions here! We have multiple sites to accommodate every type of camping from tent camping to tents-attached-to-cars, to pop-up campers to RVs and trailers with or without power/water hookups. There are wonderful views down into the valley with off-the-chain sunsets and city lights twinkling in the valley distance! Come get away from it all and enjoy the wonderful beauty and quiet serenity of mother nature in the South West Sierras at Sequoia Mountain Farms!!! Welcome Hipcampers! PLEASE read all of the below before booking and screenshot/print the directions below. Please note we have different site types with different prices and capacities. Choose the type that's best for your group. We are outside of Bear and Marmot areas, so no Bear cans needed here. However, we are not far away and nature is wild and can be unpredictable sometimes, so please keep food in your car at night as a precaution. We have not had issues and we don't want to invite any! Hot showers, flushing toilets, deep sinks for washing and WIFI (over 70 mps in many places for you teleworkers) now available for all campers at no extra charge! ARRIVAL: THERE ARE 3 GATES HERE: RIGHT GATE: just to the right of the Giant Sequoia Tree with address sign, goes to the CAMPSITES! Look for ORANGE CONES a few feet off the highway and drive down camp road about 600 feet to the camp. MIDDLE GATE: RV1 and RV2 LEFT GATE: house, please DO NOT ENTER this gate or the house. DIRECTIONS: If you put our address in to navigation apps, sometimes it brings you to our neighbors (fire department) for some reason, even after multiple emails to google...if this happens come south/down hill about 600 feet and look for the ORANGE CONES on the same side of the road. Drive between them and down camp road to your site! (There is a pic of the site map in the posted pic's) Go to Google Maps (NOT GOOGLE SEARCH). Search for Sequoia Mountain Farms Campground. Navigator apps sometimes push folks coming from the south up the 245 highway. It is a very windy and slow climb up the hill. It is doable (even for bigger rigs), but we HIGHLY RECOMMEND continuing north on highway 99 towards Fresno and then heading east on highway 180 up the mountain. It's faster, much more scenic and a much smoother drive. This route also goes right by the nearest gas station on your way up! Heading east on highway 180, out of Fresno, the last gas station is a Valero at 35468 E Kings Canyon Rd. (aka Clingan's Junction). From Clingan's, head east on the 180 for exactly 13.8 miles to the 245 highway (it comes up quick with only 1 or 2 small signs), make a right, heading south. If you hit the park entrance, you went too far, turn around drive back about 5 min and look for the 245 on your left. Once on the 245 heading south, go 5.1 miles. On your right you will pass the 'Pinehurst Lodge', which is on google maps, an easy reference point and is 1 minute or less away (great food, bar, pool table and karaoke on weekends in the summer!). Then a few seconds later the U.S Forest Service "Work Center" is on the right and we are just past that on the same side of the road. First you will see a Giant Sequoia Tree in the front yard (campground road is just to it's right with ORANGE CONES on either side) then an apple ranch with an ole loggers cabin chimney from the late 1800s still standing in the front yard directly off the highway! If you hit the 'leaving sequoia national forest' sign and the community center, you went too far, turn around and drive 1 minute back and look for the apple ranch on your left, pass it and turn left at the ORANGE CONES. Please take note of the posted pics from directly across the street facing what you will see when you get here. PLEASE CHECK THE WEATHER: If you ask us about weather, were just going to have to look online too, so please be sure to check it yourself prior to your trip, before asking us to do it for you. Just know we are operating under the assumption that you are aware of the conditions and are prepared for them. If nature happens message us and we will do our best to assist! Please note: you are expected to leave the ranch and kitchen area as you found it, i.e., dishes washed thoroughly and dried and put away, recycling separated from trash, food scraps in compost buckets, sticky marshmallow removed from forks and surfaces (ick!). Learn more about this land: Your campsite will be nestled among animal enclosures, listen to the munching of hay or the snorting of the horse. Your stay will include a modified animal tour and you can engage with horse, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and more... dogs and cats of course ;). I have a couple of spots but I would be flexible regarding campsite. My toilet is a compost toilet. The outside shower has been upgraded with privacy curtains etc following suggetions from previous campers ;) I have a million $$ view and a modest house. My house is about 45 minutes from the Yosemite park entrance and it's an easy commute back/forth. Flowering vines cover my outdoor porches where we have big dinners when Wwoofers or Couchsurfers are in residence. The property is home to many animals, horse, goats, pigs, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, guinea pigs - dogs & cats - of course! :-) . The roosters wake us up pretty early so fair warning about that - but I love living with them and it makes the property so much more friendly with all the critters. My house is pet friendly and yours are welcome if they are 1. Fixed, 2. Are social and friendly with my pets, 3. Will not chase the cats and chickens. I can babysit your pups if you go to the park - provided they are compliant with rules above. I work from home. There are loads of trails nearby and 2 pretty ponds and plenty of wildlife, deer, turkeys and more. The property is rolling hills however there are plenty of flat areas for tents. NO FIRES PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON MY PROPERTY APRIL-OCTOBER - non negotiable.
