Overall we had a great experience. John and Jennifer were great hosts and the mead tasting and pizza was a really fun experience. Jennifer very kindly brought the bottles out to our big group and gave great explanations about the history behind the specific type of mead and the process on how it is made. John very kindly stayed up past closing and cooked all of our pizzas for us in their wood fired pizza oven and they were all delicious.
The location that we put our tents was close to their business which is also open to the public. If I was to go back, I would inquire about setting up our tents behind their mead tasting room where there seemed to be a little more room and privacy.
The animals that live on the property were all a lot of fun, especially the cat named Chandler and the dog, Autumn.

I had such an amazing time! Great and attentive hosts. The Focaccia was delicious! I definitely recommend 👌. The mead tasting was totally worth it! You dont want to miss out on that while you're there. It was a perfect spot close by to Sequoia and Kings Canyon if you like national forests. Beautiful hills and meadows all around.

Car camped at Remeadies, and had an excellent stay! Directions were very helpful, space was great, and Jennifer and John were so welcoming. Definitely plan time to arrive for a mead tasting (the guided tasting is totally worth it, they have so much knowledge and information to share!), and the bread is absolutely fantastic. They have a fun outdoor space with a couple different parking/ setup locations, and a clean, well-lit, large single use bathroom . It was the perfect stop on my way to Kings Canyon/ Sequoia National Park, and definitely want to come back to try their next seasonal meads!

We had a great stay at Jennifer’s place. She and her husband were very welcoming and helped us get set up when we arrived after dark. We loved getting to pet the animals and the sourdough was amazing!!

We had a great experience Remeadies! Jennifer and John were wonderful hosts. They took us through a really fun tasting. We had some of the focaccia which was excellent, and my family made pizza with them for one of our night stays, which was a real treat. The camping location is close to the national parks, quiet and beautiful. We would definitely stay there again. We are also really enjoyed the mead and ended up buying some to take home. It was delicious. We got a great education on the process of making mead and the history behind it.

John and Jenn are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed everything about their place - lovely trees, misters to keep cool since it was a hot weekend, mead tasting, delicious focaccia and sour dough bread. Our first Hip Camp experience may have spoiled us!!

We had a great time staying at Jennifer’s place. She welcomed us when we arrived and showed us where to set up camp. The camp area was next to their tasting patio. You could camp either on fake grass (which was really nice) or dirt if you needed to stake your tent. This grass area had a nice set of patio chairs that you could hang out on. The bathroom was only a few feet away and very spacious.

It was such a treat to camp at Jenn and John's property and try their amazing meads. They are so knowledgeable and love to share their craft with others. We also had their amazing sourdough wood-fired pizzas and it was the perfect meal after a long road trip day.
These are two of the kindest and welcoming people I've had the pleasure of being hosted by, and this was my first experience with HipCamp so they definitely set the bar high!

A wonderful spot! We are so thankful for the support and hospitality! It was our first time in our little camper and we couldn't have picked a better location because the peace in combination with the delicious mead and bread was everything. We loved meeting the animals on the property too! Having a clean bathroom and plenty of areas to sit and relax was great.Thank you again!

Had a really great experience here! John and Jenn were very welcoming and hospitable. They both have a lot passion for their craft and it shows. I learned a lot about mead and enjoyed drinking it just as much! Highly recommend! 10/10 would stop at this location again.

We stayed for 2 nights at Jen and John’s amazing place, as a basis to venture into Sequoia national park. The site was not only perfectly situated for our RV trips into the parks (30 mins from Big Stump entrance into Kings Canyon and Sequoia) but we and our kids also had a great time at the campground itself. Jen and John are great hosts and their meadery is a great bonus to enjoy. We hadn’t tasted mead before but went away with a newfound love for this “intoxicating potion” and our kids will not forget the selfmade pizza they made which John finished in the wood oven! We highly recommend anyone to stay over at Remeadies, with kids or without.

Jon and Jenn were the gold standard of hospitality! My sister and I had been looking forward to staying here and it did not disappoint. We really appreciated their enthusiasm to host and share all about the wonderful mead, bread, and spices that they make (which are all delicious and we purchased many) but the site was also went kept and perfect for an overnight stay on the way to the mountains.

Just such a short stop but I had a delightful time. Strongly STRONGLY recommend getting the focaccia and trying the mead. These folks were extremely accommodating and very thoughtful and friendly! The animals were all super sweet, especially Autumn who will demand belly rubs. Thank you for a lovely stay, we'll be coming back to get more of that mead and explore!

Extremely personable, knowledgeable and very passionate about mead, wines, food and everything related John walked us through the history of mead and I must admit the mead was really delicious, we ended up getting two breads, two bottles of mead and some olive oil and balsamic vinegar, too. John even gave us cooking tips on everything from how to bake the bread, meat marinating and many more, some really great advice. Both him Jennifer are very kind people, we love cats and Jennifer even gave us cat treats to keep them around. John actually brought one cat out for us, too. Jennifer was a delight to talk to and we left with fresh rosemary and chillies. What a gem of a place and people.

It’s such a cute space and the owners are very nice and accommodating. The only thing that was surprising is the sites are all basically in the driveway and you are parking in a round about that’s around 40 feet wide so you are right up next to anyone else camping and in the driveway quite literally.

A truly wonderful and unique place! I had a great time tasting the mead, enjoying the delicious bread, and making my own pizza with herbs fresh from the garden—which really hit the spot after a long day of hiking. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and run by incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts.
I was on a solo adventure with my dog, who had a blast meeting the horse, donkey, and llama—though her favorite encounter was a toad hopping around!
The location is very close to Sequoia National Park, and we especially enjoyed kayaking on Lake Hume, just a 45-minute drive away. It was peaceful being away from the crowds after a day in the park.

John and Jenn were warm and accommodating hosts. The tasty and very informative mead tasting was a highlight. The focaccia was super too. We looked forward to coming back from the parks each day to have mead slushies and hang out with the cats.

Awesome spot to camp with some friendly cats and a dog lounging around. Easy to get to and from Sequoia/King's Canyon for a day trip.
Jennifer and John were great hosts for both the campsite and meadery. They are passionate about their business and it shows - both the mead and bread were delicious!

The land was beautiful and well kept. John greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property. After we got setup we went to the tasting room for a tasting. Jennifer and John were both there to guide us through an amazing journey of flavors. We've had a couple big box "meads" in the past, but nothing that could have prepared us for magic they are making here.
As for the camping, there are flat spaces to set up a smaller rv and or tents. A full bathroom (shower included), plenty of seating and tables. You are in close proximity to structures, but I never felt like i didnt have privacy. Very close to two beautiful national parks and a big cat sanctuary.
I recommend ordering fresh bread in advance and planning meals around it. Yes, it's that good. So are the spices and hot sauce they offer. This is a foodie and animal lovers paradise that is ran by some pretty spectacular people. They have alot of future plans in the works that we're excited to see develop. 10 of 10, we will be coming back often and bringing friends and family with us!

What a great time! Camped with my 5 friends (3 tents) in our own private area on the host's property, which is a meadery! We all did the private tasting and it was an experience we won't forget. Don't bring too much alcohol with you, you get the tasting for free with two purchases and it's fun to drink after while hanging out together. Great hosts, very friendly, LOVED all the animals. My friends and I all left wanting to come back - I only imagine it will get better from here. Only thing, lots of dry leaves that will stick to anything fuzzy so beware!

Wonderful, engaging environment for the whole family. Proximity to Sequoia / Kings Canyon entrance is convenient and makes day trip outings very easy.
Trading the RV hookups of the larger, nearby RV campground options is absolutely worth it for the privacy, peace, quiet and hospitality of Jenn and John.
We look forward to returning in the future.

I decided to book a last minute trip and messaged Jennifer. She answered all my questions and was really friendly! Upon our arrival, I was so pleasantly surprised by how warm she was. Jen and her husband are so friendly, warm, and hospitable. They let us join them for coffee and feed the animals in the morning. She gave us a lot of helpful tips about our day trip to sequoia and had so many fun stories to share about all the friendly animals. The camping site is well maintained, shaded and there are water misters nearby. We had a great view of the shooting stars! The bathroom is clean and we had access to fresh water. Before we left, we did the mead tasting which I HIGHLY recommend. Definitely such a special experience and coming back!
