We stayed there as a halfway stop on our way to Joshua Tree. I’m originally from the Caruthers area, so i wanted to see the area after a 55 year absence. Cheryl was a responsive and welcoming host. She sent us the gate code and let us find our way. Clear directions and easy to find. Beautiful setting. It was a rainy night, so being under cover was nice.

We had an awesome night’s sleep at RandCher. The space was perfectly clean and easy to park in. We were the only campers the night we stayed, and it was a treat to have so private a setting. The coyotes and birds were fun to listen to, and after they went to sleep (?) it was SO QUIET at the vineyard. Very peaceful. Highly recommend1

So cool to stay in a 100+ year old raisin farm supplying Sun Maid! The space is covered and a great shield from the rain. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts are accommodating and friendly. Will be back

Get there before sunset, you won't want to miss it drop behind the vineyard. And although there is some light pollution the view of the stars is nothing like what you're used to in the city. I was a pain when I first arrived and bothered Cheryl and her husband with a few questions. Cheryl called me, even though it was their anniversary, to answer my questions. She and her husband, Randy, were so kind and helpful. I'm sorry again for interrupting your evening. This is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful place to stay. My husband and I highly recommend, even if only for a night. Hosts and vineyard are wonderful!

We had such a lovely time at Cheryl’s wine yard. The scenery is breathtaking and Cheryl even let us taste delicious raisins made from the farm. We would love to return some time.

What a little slice of paradise! Cheryl's vineyard was absolutely amazing. We are full time RVers and stayed at the vineyard over Memorial Day weekend. It was so quite and beautiful. It was just the escape we needed to get away from the craziness of camping anywhere else that weekend. The covered spots were amazing and kept it very cool, even on a relatively hot weekend.
Cheryl was super responsive and had some great suggestions on things to do in the area.
We can't wait to stay here again!
A little tip: Grab a local bottle of wine, visit a farmers market for some fruits and cheeses, and you will have achieved the utmost bliss sipping the day away in the vineyard.

I only stayed one night and didn't use the electricity. That said, the property was beautiful and peaceful. There were some owls rustling around the cover but once I realized that's what the clanging was I was fine. I didn't realize I'd have to back my camper trailer in (that's on me) so if you aren't good with backing a trailer (Im a trailer newb) keep that in mind. There isn't as much room as I would have liked so it took me like 10 minutes to figure it out. But I got it! And again that's on me. Keep in mind that there are no amenities, but if you're self sufficient then it's great. Im moving across the country with a subaru, pop up camper, dog and two cats. Perfect to give myself a good night sleep.

What great hosts! We enjoyed our stay, Cheryl's places to visit were awesome. We visited the underground garden and the Japanese friendship gardens. The site was perfect we were in a 19 ft camper, having power was a plus. Randy shared the story of the farm and explained the Raisin process. Directions and communication was great. If we are in the area again we will definitely be back.

This was a cute little spot and perfectly between SoCal and the Bay Area. Sadly the weather was terrible for my stay and I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I would have liked. But this place was quiet and convenient and the barns were nice and very flat. In normal weather it would be very easy to back into. I only struggled because of torrential downpours and it was the end of the day. But that has nothing to do with the site. Just circumstance. Though the fresh rains made for a sweet fresh smell in the air that was a treat!

We have a very peaceful and quiet stay (other than some farm equipment one night late at night stared maybe at 130 a.m.) But we just slept in a bit to make up for it. It was mostly very tranquil. Even had rains that were very much needed in the area so the covered area was perfect to sit out and watch and take in the beautiful rainbow right from our site! We would stay here again if in the area! It was safe and the electricity and access to water was very nice to have as we are normally just on solar and tanks. The owners we very polite and hands on you can tell they work very hard on there vineyard and care about it. There was a bit on confussion on where to park. We rented 'Williams' and from the pictures it seemed like we would have the whole pad and cover there to ourselves as the listsing seemed to rent to 3 sites. So we took up our place as best our van is set up but had to move to back in as there are actually 2 sites under one roof and 2 more right next to us under the other 'barn' they were very polite in explaining it to us. We would mention is that there is a camera up on coming thru the gate (to be expected monitoring the coming and going on the short road in) but there is also one right at the campsite where you would be just a few feet from you. We were not doing anything that was wrong so it was not a big deal but no one wants to be monitored especially unexpectedly not sure it was working or not..but not mentioned in the listing that we saw. (See pictures)

Hosts were very prompt & easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. Quiet, sheltered & level space easy to back in.
We wish we would have been able to arrive before dark as it would have made our check in easier. But we appreciated that the hosts were easy to contact & very helpful!

We had a great time staying at RandCher Vineyards! The views are amazing! The owners are incredibly nice people who explained everything about the production and interesting history of the vineyard. We stayed there twice: on our way to Yosemite and then on the way back home. Would absolutely recommend as a stopover or if you need someplace quiet and beautiful to relax. Was worth it and would do it again!

We stayed at Williams site in September and had the place to ourselves. IMO Williams offers the best views, but Gomes and Coen sites offer better protection from the hot afternoon sun. With electricity we were able to cool down with our A/C in the evening, so not really too bad. Place was dead quiet and still in the evening, save the occasional yip of a coyote, which made us feel at home (we live in the country). Thank you Cheryl for making this spot available, it is really special. It’s a great jump off point for visiting Sequoia/King’s Canyon, Lemoore NAS, and Fresno (the underground gardens in Fresno were really cool, literally). If you’re into Bonsai, the Japanese Gardens in Fresno are top notch.

Enjoyed the overnight we had there. Was interesting to see raisins drying in the sun. Knew they did but never really thought about it. Was great for stargazing and using my telescope.

We enjoyed our overnighter at Coen! Easy to find and excellent host. The vineyard was beautiful and meeting a fourth generation farmer who clearly loves the land was wonderful.

Awesome place to headquarter if you have plans nearby! Would also be a great overnight spot when traveling in the area. Cheryl is very accommodating personable and ready to make recommendations to make your trip even more memorable and enjoyable. It is a nice quiet place in the middle of a vineyard. Hot, but everywhere in California was under an extreme heatwave while we were there. I recommend it very highly.

What a beautiful place to camp. And Cheryl was awesome. It was 100 degrees outside and she called to make sure we would be okay in the heat. I thought that was really very considerate. Would highly recommend!!

Great little spot. Remember it is a working farm so there are tractors going and lots of fine dust. Didnt bother us at all and was a great place to stay.

This a very quiet place surrounded by vineyards. The concete pad is perfectly level and since I was only there for a one night stopover enroute to my destination I didn’t bother to disconnect my trailer and made for a very quick departure in the morning. Adjacent campers had parked a car in my spot and Cheryl had it moved immediately before I even had time to call her!

Beautiful secluded spot! We had the place to ourselves and soaked up every minute of it! Nice and quite. We slept with the windows open and had some of the best sleep we've had in the van yet! The little town is only 4 min away if you need anything. Loved waking up in the middle of the vinyard and enjoying our morning.
Great for an overnight stop!
Keep in mind no hookups just 110v electricity so you'll need an extension cord and adapter. There is a hose on the far side of the barn if you need some fresh water.

We had the vineyard to ourselves, which was great. Very nice and peaceful spot to camp, and Cheryl was very nice and helpful with instructions. We had rain and enjoyed a beautiful rainbow while covered underneath the barn. Very nice stay, and we would recommend.
