Jenner is only about 15 mins away with Cafe Aquatica and River's End Restaurant (reservations needed-SO good and special) The "Cazita" sleeps up to 3 guests in a king bed and sofa sleeper and has a bathroom with flush toilet and shower. It has a fully-equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare your meals. There is a 2 night minimum for booking. The "Redwood Nest" is a standalone room featuring a queen bed and bay window looking out onto a redwood stand. There is a composting toilet in the attached outhouse and an outdoor sink. There are no cooking facilities and no cooking allowed. The redwood nest is really perfect for a couple looking to eat out and then sleep, fully at peace beneath the Redwoods. Please note that there is a friendly dog on the property (although we do not accept pet guests). This property is ideal for quiet people who want to get away into nature, enjoy the outdoors. It is dark at night- we do not have exterior lighting except for string lights and provided flashlights. Quiet hours begin at 9:30pm. In our family-friendly campground, our tents are 16-Foot Canvas and come with one queen-size bed, two futon lounge chairs (May be converted to twin beds), rugs, tables, lighting, and complementary firewood the first night. At no additional cost, we can add up to two twin beds to each tent upon request to sleep up to 6 people. 8 people max allowed at the campsite. The glamping sites include a picnic table, fire ring, outdoor seating, and room for additional tents if desired. All sites are easy walking distance to flush toilets and a bathhouse, with large, clean, coin operated hot shower rooms. There is no cell service in the park, but free WiFi is available at the Visitor Center. PLEASE NOTE that Bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets) IS NOT included in a standard rental, but is available as an add-on. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding whenever possible. If no bedding is added, we will assume a one-queen setup with mattress covers only. We kindly ask guests to provide at least 48-hour notice if bedding will be required. We will always try to accommodate last-minute requests, but we cannot guarantee this. PETS and SMOKING ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE our glamping tents! We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it. We also have one pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. We also have one place in the middle of our big vineyards with a 30 amp and water only. No sewer. Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. Ask the host for discount passes or complimentary tasting cards for some of the local wineries. We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River. We are close to places like Armstrong Woods, Safari West, Getaway Adventures, The Sonoma County Fairgrounds which hosts the Summer Country Concerts among other events, Harmony Festival, Santa Rosa Full Camp; Half Marathons Camp; 5K, Sonoma Zip-line Adventures, and Much More! Bike Enthusiast love the back roads out here and the Biggest Attraction Is… Wait for it…. Wineries are everywhere! During the summer there are several Music Venues close by too. The Rio Nido Roadhouse has outdoor music on the weekends. Rockin the River is every other Thursday in Guerneville. The Monte Rio Variety Show just celebrated it 111th year to a sold-out crowd. Welcome to our family land! As an educator, I run the camp during summers primarily. As a proudly affordable option in Calistoga, all camps are set up to be user ready and campers are responsible for leaving the sites cleaned up and “better” than you found it. If this sounds good, read on! We offer rustic nature, space for tents and smaller RVs, and two levels of cabin camping just 10 minutes outside of our hometown, Calistoga. Our land is beautiful with amazing views and lots of wildlife - which comes with your fair share of roughing it. All sites have their own compost toilet and handwashing station. For glamping experience, CORAL CABIN guests have step up access to hot shower at the Hilltop “Cafe,” which also has a grill, sink, power outlets and Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, and bathtubs for an extra charge. We currently try to rent one site at a time, so all sites have private access to amenities at the Hilltop Cafe. *Coral Cabin also has the largest, flattest spot for an RV, with great views and cabin access if you wanted. This cabin is our premier ‘roughing it’ experience complete with electricity, WI-FI, TV with Roku, and an AC unit. *Married Manzanitas campsite or cabin rental is high clearance or walk-in only (no RV access) and has an ambient temperature shower at their site fed by a hose. (Hose may need to be turned on at hilltop.) Guests can also use hot shower at the hilltop. If you choose to rent this cabin, this is our really roughing it experience with no Wi-Fi or electricity, just walls, high ceiling, floor, door and bed (comfy futon). It is very peaceful. Camp has a propane fire pit and camp stove available, and table/chair seating areas. *Shaded Oak is furthest from hilltop but can accommodate small trailers (up to 15 feet…), also great sunsets and a rough trail down to our ‘fern gully’ area. Lovely site with relatively easy access to the driveway. Shower and sink access at the hilltop! …has propane fire pit, table and chairs, and water for handwashing. All sites: Pack your trash (just to the trashbin at the bottom of hill)! Add mulch to the toilets! Leave it better! We are proud to be an affordable option in Calistoga and If you can clean up after yourself (to avoid cleaning fee), we would be happy to host you!

Jenner is only about 15 mins away with Cafe Aquatica and River's End Restaurant (reservations needed-SO good and special) The "Cazita" sleeps up to 3 guests in a king bed and sofa sleeper and has a bathroom with flush toilet and shower. It has a fully-equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare your meals. There is a 2 night minimum for booking. The "Redwood Nest" is a standalone room featuring a queen bed and bay window looking out onto a redwood stand. There is a composting toilet in the attached outhouse and an outdoor sink. There are no cooking facilities and no cooking allowed. The redwood nest is really perfect for a couple looking to eat out and then sleep, fully at peace beneath the Redwoods. Please note that there is a friendly dog on the property (although we do not accept pet guests). This property is ideal for quiet people who want to get away into nature, enjoy the outdoors. It is dark at night- we do not have exterior lighting except for string lights and provided flashlights. Quiet hours begin at 9:30pm. In our family-friendly campground, our tents are 16-Foot Canvas and come with one queen-size bed, two futon lounge chairs (May be converted to twin beds), rugs, tables, lighting, and complementary firewood the first night. At no additional cost, we can add up to two twin beds to each tent upon request to sleep up to 6 people. 8 people max allowed at the campsite. The glamping sites include a picnic table, fire ring, outdoor seating, and room for additional tents if desired. All sites are easy walking distance to flush toilets and a bathhouse, with large, clean, coin operated hot shower rooms. There is no cell service in the park, but free WiFi is available at the Visitor Center. PLEASE NOTE that Bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets) IS NOT included in a standard rental, but is available as an add-on. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding whenever possible. If no bedding is added, we will assume a one-queen setup with mattress covers only. We kindly ask guests to provide at least 48-hour notice if bedding will be required. We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it. We also have one pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. We also have one place in the middle of our big vineyards with a 30 amp and water only. No sewer. Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. Ask the host for discount passes or complimentary tasting cards for some of the local wineries. We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River. We are close to places like Armstrong Woods, Safari West, Getaway Adventures, The Sonoma County Fairgrounds which hosts the Summer Country Concerts among other events, Harmony Festival, Santa Rosa Full Camp; Half Marathons Camp; 5K, Sonoma Zip-line Adventures, and Much More! As a proudly affordable option in Calistoga, all camps are set up to be user ready and campers are responsible for leaving the sites cleaned up and “better” than you found it. If this sounds good, read on! We offer rustic nature, space for tents and smaller RVs, and two levels of cabin camping just 10 minutes outside of our hometown, Calistoga. Our land is beautiful with amazing views and lots of wildlife - which comes with your fair share of roughing it. All sites have their own compost toilet and handwashing station. For glamping experience, CORAL CABIN guests have step up access to hot shower at the Hilltop “Cafe,” which also has a grill, sink, power outlets and Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, and bathtubs for an extra charge. We currently try to rent one site at a time, so all sites have private access to amenities at the Hilltop Cafe. *Coral Cabin also has the largest, flattest spot for an RV, with great views and cabin access if you wanted. This cabin is our premier ‘roughing it’ experience complete with electricity, WI-FI, TV with Roku, and an AC unit. *Married Manzanitas campsite or cabin rental is high clearance or walk-in only (no RV access) and has an ambient temperature shower at their site fed by a hose. (Hose may need to be turned on at hilltop.) Guests can also use hot shower at the hilltop. If you choose to rent this cabin, this is our really roughing it experience with no Wi-Fi or electricity, just walls, high ceiling, floor, door and bed (comfy futon). It is very peaceful. Camp has a propane fire pit and camp stove available, and table/chair seating areas. *Shaded Oak is furthest from hilltop but can accommodate small trailers (up to 15 feet…), also great sunsets and a rough trail down to our ‘fern gully’ area. Lovely site with relatively easy access to the driveway. Shower and sink access at the hilltop! …has propane fire pit, table and chairs, and water for handwashing. All sites: Pack your trash (just to the trashbin at the bottom of hill)! Add mulch to the toilets! Leave it better! We are proud to be an affordable option in Calistoga and If you can clean up after yourself (to avoid cleaning fee), we would be happy to host you!

Welcome to our family land! As an educator, I run the camp during summers primarily. As a proudly affordable option in Calistoga, all camps are set up to be user ready and campers are responsible for leaving the sites cleaned up and “better” than you found it. If this sounds good, read on! We offer rustic nature, space for tents and smaller RVs, and two levels of cabin camping just 10 minutes outside of our hometown, Calistoga. Our land is beautiful with amazing views and lots of wildlife - which comes with your fair share of roughing it. All sites have their own compost toilet and handwashing station. For glamping experience, CORAL CABIN guests have step up access to hot shower at the Hilltop “Cafe,” which also has a grill, sink, power outlets and Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, and bathtubs for an extra charge. We currently try to rent one site at a time, so all sites have private access to amenities at the Hilltop Cafe. *Coral Cabin also has the largest, flattest spot for an RV, with great views and cabin access if you wanted. This cabin is our premier ‘roughing it’ experience complete with electricity, WI-FI, TV with Roku, and an AC unit. *Married Manzanitas campsite or cabin rental is high clearance or walk-in only (no RV access) and has an ambient temperature shower at their site fed by a hose. (Hose may need to be turned on at hilltop.) Guests can also use hot shower at the hilltop. If you choose to rent this cabin, this is our really roughing it experience with no Wi-Fi or electricity, just walls, high ceiling, floor, door and bed (comfy futon). It is very peaceful. Camp has a propane fire pit and camp stove available, and table/chair seating areas. *Shaded Oak is furthest from hilltop but can accommodate small trailers (up to 15 feet…), also great sunsets and a rough trail down to our ‘fern gully’ area. Lovely site with relatively easy access to the driveway. Shower and sink access at the hilltop! …has propane fire pit, table and chairs, and water for handwashing. All sites: Pack your trash (just to the trashbin at the bottom of hill)! Add mulch to the toilets! Leave it better! We are proud to be an affordable option in Calistoga and If you can clean up after yourself (to avoid cleaning fee), we would be happy to host you!

Steve and Ceci are such lovely and down to earth people! Staying at their place was really enchanting, the cabin feels like something out of Snow White-it’s simple but also very detailed and you can tell thought was put in the space. The clawfoot bathtub was wonderful, and despite the winter chill the place managed to stay warm. There’s a bookshelf full of books with California flora and fauna. Their dogs are funny and very active, and there’s maybe about. 60 chickens there? Both domestic and wild. Both the area in the back next to the cows and the highway besides the river were lovely to walk beside and explore. Overall it was a wonderful way to get away from the hustle and hustle of things and relax and explore! Hope to be back soon 💕

A glamper’s dream! This tiny cottage had all the amenities of a full house—cooking, bathroom, TV, WiFi, and heaters. After a full day of exploring nearby Point Reyes, my friend and I were able to sleep in maximum comfort. Note, this cottage is in a residential area, so you will have drive to any outdoor adventures, but the cottage still has lovely outdoor seating that overlooks the flower garden.

We loved our glamping experience at Sugarloaf SP! The tent was spacious and cozy with comfortable beds and plenty of places to sit and hang out. We rented the heater which was much appreciated when the temp dropped and some rained moved in. We appreciated our first bundle of firewood. All of the staff was very friendly and quick to help out if we needed something. They also keep the bathrooms super clean and well stocked and a short walk from any site. The center of the campground being a beautiful meadow with lots of wildlife at night and clear skies show a perfect view of the starry night. We would definitely stay again.

I can't recommend this treehouse enough! To start off, Miss J was so sweet and gave us a tour of the whole place before we settled in! You could tell she cared deeply about the land and making all of her guests feel welcome! The treehouse itself was something out of a fairytale - the adventure of staying up in the trees, the serenity of the woods, the spectacular views from the jacuzzi.. everything about this place was truly magical. I can't wait to come back and stay for longer next time!

Weekend Trip to Sugarloaf Ridge State Park Glamping
We had a wonderful stay at Sugarloaf and would return. On the positive, the campsite and surrounding area were stunning, with plenty of space for our group and easy access to great hiking trails (both kid friendly and more strenuous). The staff was friendly and easily accessible. We came with two other families, each with two kids under six, and the little ones loved biking around, exploring, and playing hide-and-seek. Other campers were friendly and the vibe was laid back and easy. A couple of things to watch out for: two of the three glamp tents could have been drier (site 29 & 30). The floor stayed a bit damp and there was a noticeable mildew smell; and the showers are coin operated, but worth it as they had good pressure, hot water, and consistently clean bathrooms. You can get coins from the visitor center so this wasn't a dealbreaker for us. We’d definitely come back, maybe with a few extra socks, soled house slippers, and something like coffee grounds to deal with the mildew tent smell.

Lynda was very friendly and helpful. The property has amazing themed sites to lounge at and are large enough for a group or family if you rent both sites (cabin and boathouse). The cozy cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lynda has taken a lot of time to ensure the cabin is well stocked with useful items so you only need to bring clothes, toiletries, and food to have a great stay. We loved using the hot tub/fire pit at night and reading or playing board games on the covered porch during the day. The dimmable lights in the cabin and on the patio were such a nice touch! The cabin and surrounding area felt very private. The nearby of town of Monte Rio is within walking distance (or a quick drive) and has multiple restaurants (the food from Sarah’s Kitchen in the Highland Dell was very good). This is also a great location as there’s so much to do nearby. You’re close to the coast and multiple small towns to explore. I highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to come back!

I loved our glamping spot. The free complimentary firewood on the first night and free complimentary extra mattresses were nice for my family and I. the mountain views 360 all around were so pretty! It was also very shaded. We saw many deer, quail, and squirrel by our tent was a treat for my children. The restrooms were not horrible. There is also an observatory nearby so we got to view the stars at night. It was a pleasant trip. The glamp itself was nice and furnished, perfect for my family who usually have a very hard time camping in nature.

The treehouse is amazing! Such a cool experience, and the entire property has lots to offer - hot tub, playground, outdoor shower, fire pits, etc. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. I believe they were on property, but we were the only guests this weekend and it felt like we were alone which was nice! The “downtown” has some super cute shops/restaurants and there are hikes and activities to do nearby. Would stay here again!

Stay on our working organic fruit and vegetable farm in a cozy 1960s trailer. Our spot is located just a mile from downtown Winters and 15 minutes from Lake Berryessa. It also has an AC and plenty of additional electricity. We have sheets and pillows but you bring your own towels. There's a grill outside. Note: This is our home, and we live a stone's throw from the trailer. We both have full-time jobs. If you are looking for "curated" experience or high level of hospitality and service, this isn't it. If you are looking for a reasonably comfortable stay on an authentic, working organic farm less than an hour away from Sacto and the SF Bay, this may be a good fit. Our farm dog Jack LOVES people and will likely convince you to throw him the ball or stick. He has the run of the property and is not leashed or fenced in. He's very friendly and will be happy to go on a walk around the farm with you anytime.

There is an additional converted farm shed with a pull out couch and TV to relax comfortably indoors (the "rec room"). The outdoor area consists of a breakfast patio and large barn with couches and dining table. We are just starting to develop the property as a working farm. Currently we have a dozen chickens, 30+ fruit trees, and cows pasturing in the main field. The location is fantastic for exploring the area. In the middle of wine country, it's only a thirty minute drive to the coast or to the redwoods, and one hour from San Francisco. Plus easy access to the bike path leading to both Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. Weather issues: The tiny house has heating but no AC, which is not normally an issue unless daytime temperatures are in the mid 90s or higher. Summer nighttime temps are usually in the 50s and the space cools rapidly with windows open. The rec room has both heating and AC, which can be slept in in the case of extreme temperatures. In the winter, heavy rainfall can make the stay unpleasant as you need to move outside frequently between buildings.

No camp fires are allowed in the orchard. If it is winter time, we do have a fire ring in the fig tree picnic area, as well as a propane BBQ. The bathroom is shared with the cabins. We have farm animals and dogs which can be loud. The dogs chase squirrels and bark maniacally, and the ducks quack at sunrise, like, lots! There are also spiders, wasps, bees, rattlesnakes etc!!
