We had an amazing vacation at Alain and Karine's cabin! Friendly and hospitable hosts and beautiful scenery. Cabin and property were very well kept. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee, meals and bonfires lakeside. Was also nice having the boat launch there! The lake was fun to explore and fish. Definitely at the top of our list for holiday locations!

Log Cottage on Sesekinika Lake
Another great trip/weekend spent at Al’s and Karine’s peaceful gateway! I believe this is our 4th time staying there and we will continue to go back! Couldn’t ask for a better cottage to stay at!!

Love the cabin its cute and far enough away we can relax with our dog (who is reactive to other dogs). He spends half his time in the water and the other exploring. Its pretty hidden and a great location. Large lake with walleye can't ask for better.

Log Cottage on Sesekinika Lake
The Cabin was beautiful and very clean, my family had a amazing time. We played games outside, star gazing was amazing we even got to see Northern lights. Rained on and off but there was always something to do. We definitely would go back and recommend others to stay there for sure.

Log Cottage on Sesekinika Lake
This is our second time saying here this summer as a family of 4, and it never disappoints! View is awesome and is very peaceful and quiet. Took the kids tubing and fishing and the boat at a nice spot on the dock! We will be back again 100%! Thanks again Alain and Karine!

Alain’s cabin is very well appointed and was a great place to spend a few days. The lake was welcome respite in the 32 degree September (?!) heat. He also had plenty of fans available to sleep more comfortably during those nights. He checked in to make sure everything was good and he was available for any questions. I really enjoyed my stay at Labelle Cabin.

A beautiful private log cabin with a large deck on the edge of the lake with a large parking area around it .

Our family had a great time. We loved the log cabin. Hearing the loons on the lake is always welcome.
My 10 year old son caught lots of fish from shore too.

Fantastic hosts! The beautiful log cabin was clean and had everything we needed (just bring bedding and food). The property is extremely private. Gentle sand water access and a dock. A really good lake if you like kayaking or canoeing.

We enjoyed our time again at this camp. Beautiful cottage. The firewood was amazing on the rainy weekend. Owners were available for help when needed.
The main negative was that the beach wasn’t the best this time but we made due. Very very soft yucky bottom and lots of what looks like loon poop. Bring water shoes as that helped a little. It might have been because the water was low but it was definitely yuck to get in.

What a beautiful place. My family had an amazing time. Everything was clean and organized. All we needed to bring was our bedding and our food. The water was nice to go swimming and kayaking. Thank Alain and Karine.

Second time at this cottage… this time with my family we had such a great time! Love how private it is! There was a bunch of kids beach toys to use my toddler didn’t want to leave!!!!

Beautiful quiet location with great fishing. We had fun catching walleye, pike, perch and small mouth bass. We had a wonderful time on our honeymoon. Plenty of room, beautiful cabin with lots of outdoor space. We loved it, our dog loved it as well but got homesick about 3 days in lol (first time away from home). We would definitely recommend going to everyone as well as we may want to possibly go again.

Log Cottage on Sesekinika Lake
Alain’s land was wonderful place to stay for my family and I!! It’s a perfect location right on the water, very quiet and peaceful. We were lucky enough to use the kayaks which ended up being the best part. Alain and his family were staying just up the hill from us so it was perfect if we had any questions or concerns! I would definitely recommend.

My partner, dog and I chose this cottage to get far away from our every day hustle and bustle of Toronto. As soon as we arrived, we immediately agreed it was the nicest, coziest cottage we’ve ever been to. It’s secluded enough that our anxious dog can freely roam and play in the water without us being worried about any passerby. We were right on the water, which made for peaceful mornings on the deck with coffee in hand and a stunning view of the lake. Alain lended us two kayaks which we enjoyed taking out twice and there was also a box of water toys which were obviously for kids but we all quite enjoyed playing with the water guns!
The nights were beautiful, the chopped wood was piled high and we enjoyed a few hours by the fire where I saw my very first shooting star!
There was also a large selection of movies we could watch which was nice on a rainy night, with selections from feel good kid movies to scary horror movies!
Such an incredible time…. We’re back home talking about how we miss the cottage and can’t wait to go back.
Thank you for hosting such a wonderful cottage, 10/10 would recommend!

Our family absolutely loved spending time at this cottage. The cottage was very clean and cozy. The fishing was perfect. We caught five different species in the four days we were there. The surrounding area around the outside of the cottage was very well kept. There was plenty of wood for evening bonfires. The beach right in front of the cottage was perfect for fishing and watching the ducks/loons/beaver swim by. The beach area was nice and sandy with no weeds or large rocks. There were plenty of wild blueberries to pick near by. We are definitely planning on returning and hope to stay a little longer the next time.

Love this cottage! Very easy to get to..Was the best place for our moms getaway! Cottage is super nice and cozy. Love how private it is ! Spent lots of time in the water! Host were amazing!! Would highly recommend and hope to book again soon!!!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Alain and Karine’s camp. We were pleasantly surprised by the kids toys that were there for us to use. Having wood available to us was very nice as well. Alain was very nice and helped us out if we had any questions or concerns. We would definitely vacation here again.

This pet friendly location and accommodation was absolute perfect!!
Quiet and scenic locations allowed us to fully relax and unwind.
Have a senior dog that is also water crazy, the beach was great, she could just wander into the lake when the urge hit her.
It was very obvious that Alain care for and maintains his property, even before we arrived!! The private road in was graded and trees pushed back to widen the access….
