Our family recently bought this beautiful 1.6 acre historic farm on highway 6 just a 5 min drive to downtown Tobermory. Our dream is to restore the house and farm to working condition and eventually have an organic produce farm in which we can feed our community. The property has beautiful views of forestry all around as well as a small orchard with apple, plum and cherry trees. We also have a rustic barn that we will be renovating and a large beautiful open field.Hello everyone we are Corey and Micah. We have 3 children named North (8), Forest (5), and Rain (1). We have a cat and 2 very friendly playful dogs named Diesel and Sasha. We are all very excited to share our 2 acre farm. We offer a place for you to pitch a tent, park your camper or vehicle for a safe and a good night sleep up north and under the stars. We are also pleased to offer a touch of hospitality and we are happy to help if you need it. We can accommodate many tents, however we can only accommodate 15x vehicles safely and comfortably. Each vehicle per night is $75.    When you come to the property here in Tobermory, YOU WILL FIND and NEED TO KNOW:    1. WE ARE A 5 MIN DRIVE FROM EVERYTHING IN TOBERMORY  - you MUST book parking reservations through Parks Canada for The Grotto, Halfway Log Dump and Little Cove. Also reservations are required for boat tours.  2. WE ARE A FAMILY / LOW KEY / GOOD VIBE ATMOSPHERE.  - Campfires are generally out or quiet by midnight. We respect fire bans if and when implemented.  - If you are looking for a place for a wedding, jeep/hippie van meetup we are most happy to host you.    3. THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES ARE: - 1x bag of garbage $5 - 1x bag of fire wood $7 - 1x shower $1 per minute and less than 5min drive south to Roxys Showers. Coins only   4. WE HAVE WATER, AN EXTENSION CORD FOR CHARGING PHONE OR BLOWING UP AIR MATTRESS AND A PORTA POTTY (outdoor toilet) FOR YOUR USE. SITES DO NOT COME WITH ELECTRICAL HOOK UPS 5. WILDLIFE that pose no issues with us people but must be RESPECTED - bears (keep food in vehicle) - rattlesnakes (rocks/highways) - lynx (deep deep bush) - usual city wildlife - eagles - bobcats (rocks) - turtles (highways) 6. IF YOU OWN A TINY HOME AND ARE LOOKING TO PARK IT SOMEWHERE AWESOME FOR A WHILE, WE SHOULD TALK. I BUILD THEM TOO. Fall Tobermory Family Camping

This place is fantastic for camping with young kids! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating in every aspect. We could choose a spot for our old RV and setup camp for our fall adventure. Our kids had a blast with the host's kids and the friendly dogs and cats added more playmates to the group. Unfortunately we got rained out and the hosts were generously insisting on refunding us for the early departure! Amazing. Great spot to explore Tobermory and beyond! Highly recommended and we'll be back next year for more adventures.

We had the pleasure of staying at North Forest Farm, host by Micah and her nice family place for one night. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel convenient and welcome. Their hospitality and support was great and They took us a tour through their garden to see all the beautiful spot and gave us chances to choose the best spot for camping . The place was so nice and quiet. We highly recommend staying with them, and we look forward to returning in the future. Thanks alot.

We had a fantastic time staying with Micah, Corey, and family. From night one they showed an immense amount of care towards their guests! We had a run in with a bear (a rare sight for their property) as we were arriving, but they made sure to clear any mess that was left and assured us of our safety on the property; making themselves available at any point if we were feeling uncomfortable or had any more wildlife visitors. They were an awesome group with lots of very friendly animals who also helped with easing our nerves after our encounter. We really appreciated their kindness, and the site that we stayed at was great, very secluded and shaded which was lovely. Thank you again Corey and Micah we are looking forward to coming again!

Perfect Location!

North Forest Farm is close to everything you want to see and do in and around Tobemory, which makes this hipcamp an excellent choice! We enjoyed Micah and Corey's hospitality and thought seeing their kids and pets outside playing was very charming. We even made friends with their chicken, dog and cats! The site we were on worked extremely well for us and suited our needs perfectly! Thanks for a great ending to our summer of traveling with our trailer, it was the icing on the cake!

Conveniently located and a good opt

Overall we had a good stay. Our site was small but private and offered a great view of the stary sky. The street noise was louder than we'd hope but tolerable. The single outdoor washroom could be added to. Its close proximity to Tobermory made it very convenient. The host, Micah was great!
