We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning.
Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway.
We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas.
There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

3) When you book, One tent or RV and one vehicle per site. If you are looking to book for a group of friends/family area, we can help with that.. prior to booking.
Also, we reserve the right to put you in the best possible spot to fit in a proper site for what you are camping in and what your needs are. Often people book a site that’s completely wrong for them… but that’s ok… we will fix it. 😊
4) Smoking only on sand at sites and nowhere else on our property Please use a container to hold your butts.
5) Noise restrictions after 9pm…no music or loud behaviour after that. Strictly enforced. We value respect in the camp for all campers.

Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine).
Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'.

Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!
Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire)
The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk.
We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi that you can use.
Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug.
We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, wine tastings and more!
The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here.

Wild Coast has 2 nightly campsites for you to enjoy. Site one is a large, flat open gravel base. And Site 2 is a large, flat grass based site. Please note you must have your own trailer or tent.
We’re a 5-10 minute drive to Rathtrevor beach/Parksville, Englishman River. We are right in the middle of an extensive trail network perfect for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding.
Both sites have plenty of space for RVs and trailers - we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. 30 amp Electrical and potable water hookups are available on both sites. WI-FI onsite as well. There is a flush toilet and sink available in our farm store that is available for guest use. No shower yet, but we are working on it!
The property is private yet close to all amenities. Local favorite Rocking Horse Pub is a quick walk next door and a must-stop for dinner and drinks!
Centrally located on Vancouver Island, it’s a perfect spot to set up the rig and day trip out to Rathtrevor, Little Qualicum, Parksville, Coombs, Port Alberni valley and Nanaimo, or go for an overnighter in Victoria, Tofino, Mount Washington and the Comox Valley.
Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban and we have dry firewood for sale onsite. If you would like firewood send us a message before you arrive.
Pets are welcome, but please be responsible for them. There is a large open grass field for you to let them run and burn off that energy.

This property was purchased nearly half a century ago. For the majority of this time the forest section you will be camping in was left undeveloped, apart from a few mountain bike trails. Recently, as a family, we have seen a large increase in the people traveling to the Sunshine Coast to escape the city limits. Unable to rock up to a campsite and pick our spot like we used to, it was easy to see a growing demand. We have taken everything we love about camping and done our best to give you a sense of what life on the Coast is really about.
Please note: By entering onto the property you release all liabilities towards us as hosts. You are choosing to camp in a forested area that contains many hazards as well as potential threats. These include but are not limited to; Wild life (bears, bob cats, cougars etc), Fire is a serious threat to this region during summer months strict no smoking policy is in effect. Care should be taken walking around uneven surfaces. All campers are required to stay within camp boundaries fail to follow these protocols will result in being asked to leave.

The Gertie Bus is located a 5 min walk to a beautiful white sand beach (at low tide). There are walking trails all around and lots of beach access. Tucked into the front of our property in the quiet of Gabriola island you’ll find the converted Gertie bus with all the amenities you need.
The bus has a gas stovetop/oven, bar fridge and sink with grey water system. Equipped kitchen and sofa area to hang out.
The standard queen bed is great for sleeping in and relaxing with that second cup of coffee.
Mountain biking, hiking, swimming and whale watching are just steps away.
There is beach access across the street through a private park with picnic tables, a very old eagles nest and a private access to a rocky beach perfect for sunsets.
The home itself has a pottery studio on the main floor with a full time studio

Our family lives on the top floor.
Outside the bus is are lush veggie gardens, fruit trees and a nice private outdoor dining area. A BBQ and solar lights also help with evening hangouts.
Family friendly! Also we love animals but we ask that you clean up after your pet and keep any animals that aren’t so great with kids and other animals on leash. We have a dachshund on the property that is friendly and old ( barks at strangers but is all bark I assure you, he just wants to be friends)

We are located on a beautiful farm with lots of animals to see! Our property is in Black Creek, BC.
We have one private site available for tent and RV/trailer campers. The site is level and grassy and it can accommodate vehicles up to 30ft in length.
We provide a picnic table, wifi, and potable water. Campfires are permitted when there is no fire ban.
We also have a new tiny home situated beside our field where the llamas, goats and sheep hang out, with a covered deck and firepit area.
Black Creek is a small town located on the eastern shore of North Central Vancouver Island, home to stunning beaches and outdoor recreation. At nearby Saratoga Beach, the tide goes out for over a quarter of a mile, creating a hard-packed oceanfront playground perfect for children to safely explore.
Miracle Provincial Park is close by with a picnic area overlooking the water and a series of lovely trails winding through lush forest. You can visit the Oyster River Hatchery, check out the seals and sea lions in Seal Bay Regional Park, do some saltwater fishing for salmon, or even rent a go-cart and race around the Saratoga Speedway, or just watch others do it.

My best friend and I visited Salt Spring Island for the first time from Puyallup, WA with my small elderly pup for a long weekend and Jim’s place was the most PERFECT location and set up! We’re obsessed with the island and can’t wait to come back! I was able to charge my Tesla quickly with the electric setup, and it was an added plus with the outdoor fridge to keep our things cold. There’s a clean porta potty and a water spicket to wash hands and dishes. Having the option for a hot shower for a small extra charge was a huge relief after a day spent hiking and biking! Jim
is so friendly and laid back, we felt comfortable knowing he was only a text away if we needed anything. He gave us the best map to help us navigate cool spots to check out on the island. We woke up to deer, rabbits and the sound of birds each day, it was so lovely. Definitely make sure you eat dinner on Jim’s balcony at least once - it’s so pretty watching the sun set over Mt. Baker. It was trip we will never forget 💕 We will definitely be back!!!!

I had a lovely stay at Susan and Tony's place. Even though I stayed only 1 night, I felt so welcomed, and inspired by what they have created. The land is surrounded by forest and is very quiet and peaceful. If you are interested in ways of living that are more sustainable and in harmony with nature, they have experiences and knowledge to share. The Earthship tour was great. Hope to stay there again soon. I highly recommend.

What an incredible stay! This beautiful farm is truly a hidden gem, surrounded by stunning scenery and peaceful countryside views. The property is exceptionally well maintained, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature.
What made our visit especially memorable were the hosts. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making sure guests had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home and were always available with helpful recommendations and friendly conversation.

What an amazing — and ambitious — place to stay. The tour of the Earthship was definitely worth it. I love learning about alternative home building.
Just before you enter the site’s property is a beautifully maintained, accessible trail that meanders through an older second growth forest of cedar, fir, Sitka spruce with ginormous skunk cabbage. No litter on the trail. Very little invasive plants.
Tony and Susan are wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this HipCamp!!

Camp host was very friendly and accommodating! The facilities onsite are exceptional, can’t beat a full sized gym with soft water showers…the area is very peaceful with cows grazing nearby, and the faint sound of crickets. This is a beautiful place to have a campfire, and to relax in nature away from the city. As stated there is not much shade (yet) as the little trees are growing, but if you have solar or an off grid rig this a perfect place to stay. Only 8-10 mins from grocery/beer/dinner etc, also easy access off the main highway coming from the north or south. This is a nice hidden gem!

We had such a wonderful stay at Back Forty Vineyards! It was really nice to meet Daryl, and he was super easy to communicate with the whole time.
The campsite is just so peaceful and quiet—exactly what we needed for a weekend reset. Setting up on the hill gave us the most amazing views looking right out over the vineyard. Waking up to that scenery and watching the sunset in the evenings was definitely the highlight of our trip.
A special shoutout has to go to Bernie, the resident dog! He is the sweetest, friendliest pup and his little visits made our stay even better.
If you're looking for a relaxing, beautiful spot to unplug and unwind, we really can't recommend this place enough. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Very beautiful property with a super sweet family hosting! This was my second time camping here, and it was amazing both times :) We plan to continue returning and highly recommend it! The hosts have clearly put a lot of time and effort into every detail, and it really shows throughout the property. Such a unique spot to camp at. Sarah was extremely kind and friendly to us and gave us a tour of the farm with all the amazing animals. Our dog absolutely loved all of them as well. The spot has everything you need and a nice clean flush toilet as well.

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend at Kootney Born Campsite! John and Michelle were so welcoming and we're always available for any help needed. The campground is in a lovely peaceful spot along the Arrow Lake and has, games, running water, a shower and provides firewood as well as a communal gas cooker. We really enjoyed the complementary kayaks and exploring the local areas. I would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone and I hope to return some time in the future!

What a beautiful property and location was great. All of the sites are pretty private, and spread out. We had a sweet little pond to look at and the kids played soccer on the big field. The frogs were amazing and vocal all night long (bring earplugs if that may bother you) but was otherwise so quiet and peaceful. What a treasure to have found! We will definitely be back and I've already recommended it to a couple of friends. I'll take peaceful nature over a campground any day!! Thank you so much for the great camping spot!!

Great hosts very responsive and brought firewood and extra water immediately. Scenic site with a connection to Hayward trail.
The sniff spots are also a great addition for dogs to explore and play. There are chickens and ducks nearby for kids.
The porta potties are a nice touch.
