Jim was very friendly and extremely helpful with some car trouble we had while there. He was knowledgeable about the island and made great suggestions of places to visit. There is a steep hill up to his property but the views from the deck are well worth it. Overall a fabulous experience!

We had a good experience, unfortunately the site was not very private .
The cost for the shower was a little high. Maybe a coin operated shower would be better.

We had a two night stay in our Teardrop trailer booked for the end of July at Maple Tree. It was such a wonderful experience that we asked our host if we could stay an extra night! The location is lovely, peaceful and easily accessible. Jim's set-up is organized, clean and has everything we needed. From the upper deck with views of the water, to the hot shower and grassy sitting area, Jim has thought of everything that anyone could need. Even though we were not able to meet Jim as he was away, we spoke to him on the phone and he answered all questions very quickly. We are already wanting to get back there. Thank you, Jim!

We enjoyed staying at Jim's place.
It's very challenging to find RV spots on Salt Spring Island during the busy Summer travel season. Not only was this Hipcamp available, it also had full hookups - a huge rarity on the island!
Jim was very friendly and helped us settle into the spot. He also offered tips for getting the best out of the local attractions.
We will be thrilled to stay with Jim again in the future.

Jim's place was awesome! Not only is Jim a great host with little added extras like a fridge you can use, BBQ, badminton/frisbee and "happy hour", but his property is in the most stunning location! Highly recommend a stay here, we'll hopefully be back!

We had a nice visit to Maple tree and enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed: a picnic table, fresh water, a clean toilet, trash and recycling, and a grassy spot to camp. Jim, the host, was friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. I'd recommend this hipcamp to others.

Great space, lots of room to roam and all services easily hooked up. Jim is an awesome host and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is pleasant. Street getting to property is a bit steep, but you're only minutes away from Ganges! No view from the pad but awesome shared deck with great ocean and mountain views. Very quiet, if you want to party may not be your place.
