Come discover our peaceful farm sanctuary located in Ashton Creek, 10 minutes east of Enderby. Experience the famous Shuswap River "float" which is only a 5 minute walk to the Baxter bridge boat launch, park and community hall. The Ashton Creek convenience store and gas station has all your basic camping needs including ATV gas and propane (also a 5 minute walk). Access to hiking trails including a unique water fall nearby. Mabel Lake Resort, boat launch and Golf Club is a short 20 minute drive. Camping at Olich Creek Farm is unique and family friendly. Most of our rescued farm animals roam the property freely and absolutely love human visitors. Families with children will also enjoy the natural play areas the farm offers including a shallow creek and visits with our chickens and ducks. Your dogs or other small pets are permitted in the camping areas only as our herd is terrified of dogs. There is another large area (about 5 acres) where well-behaved dogs can run off leash. We have one RV site with septic, water and 50 Amp power and can fit a 40 foot unit and 2 totally private tent sites. There is a full washroom with tub/shower, toilet and wifi access in our old farmhouse which is complimentary during your stay. Should you find that your desired dates are already booked, please reach out to us as we may have a back up spot available. Please keep in mind we are an organic farm homestead that offers an agritourism experience. We are not a manicured campground :) Your camping fees go directly to support our aging farm animals and horses.

Please note you must have your own trailer or tent. We’re a 5-10 minute drive to Rathtrevor beach/Parksville, Englishman River. We are right in the middle of an extensive trail network perfect for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding.  Both sites have plenty of space for RVs and trailers - we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. 30 amp Electrical and potable water hookups are available on both sites. WI-FI onsite as well. There is a flush toilet and sink available in our farm store that is available for guest use. No shower yet, but we are working on it! The property is private yet close to all amenities. Local favorite Rocking Horse Pub is a quick walk next door and a must-stop for dinner and drinks!  Centrally located on Vancouver Island, it’s a perfect spot to set up the rig and day trip out to Rathtrevor, Little Qualicum, Parksville, Coombs, Port Alberni valley and Nanaimo, or go for an overnighter in Victoria, Tofino, Mount Washington and the Comox Valley. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban and we have dry firewood for sale onsite. If you would like firewood send us a message before you arrive. Pets are welcome, but please be responsible for them. There is a large open grass field for you to let them run and burn off that energy. Learn more about this land: Flat pasture with a few trees on the edge of a hill 130 ft above the Bulkley River Flat. Five minute drive to Smithers, BC. A recently built paved bicycle path will take you to downtown Smithers in about 15 minutes. Beautiful panoramic view of hayfields, an organic vegetable farm and the Bulkley River. We have 67 acres with a stunning view of the mountains and river. One campsite is available for tent or RV/trailer campers (no hookups). Straight ahead to the west beyond the river is Hudson's Bay Mountain, to the north the Rocher Déboulé Range and to the South the Telkwa mountains. Very tame free-range grazing cattle are sometimes on the property. They are harmless but curious! Pets are welcome, campfires are permitted. Activities nearby include hiking, fishing, paddling, climbing, boating, and more.

Really nice property. Perfect spot, had the whole camping area to ourselves. Very nice host, and beautiful property. Long gravel road out to property but we had a small car and still worked well.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at Heather's farm. The RV spot was nice and secluded, but just a short walk to the washroom. We loved all of the social animals and space to roam with our dog. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Super beautiful area. Very personable host, who introduced himself and didn’t linger, so we felt like welcome guests. His site was tricky to navigate for exact camping spots when it was dark, but in the daytime it made much more sense. He let us use wood and sticks from the areas around the campground to burn, which was nice.

Quiet, rustic and a great fire pit, Worthy of a respectful campfire. We drive a 25' motorhome to the site. About 20 minutes each way over some primitive roads, but we found it worth it. I understand that Justin has owned the property for a little over a year and I have no doubt there will be improvements season after season.
