We have large area cleared for RVs, trailers, tents or camper van dispersed camping sites. The ranch has ten 30 amp power sites with lots of room to turn around and most you can drive right through without having to back up.
Views of mountains in every direction with lots of wild birds in the area. We have horses, cows, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats at the ranch. The small working ranch is in the Rocky mountain trench with the Rocky Mountains to the east the Caribou range to the east and the Monashee Mountains to the south.

Shower and water available in ranch yard water tap is on the south side of the ranch house.
Nearby activities include hiking, biking( bike rentals available in town), climbing, fishing, paddling.
The site is 20 minutes from Mount Robson Provincial Park (Berg Lake trailhead) and just over an hour to Jasper National Park. Valemount townsite is 15 minutes away and is home to a renowned mountain bike park, and excellent restaurants such as the Glacier fire Pizza.
Please take the time to read any posted signs regarding rules of the ranch, speed limits, etc, and do not leave a trace. Please bring your garbage, tissues and cans with you. There is a local transfer station just 10 minutes south of us outside the village of Valemount. Please respect our home.

We’re a 5-10 minute drive to Rathtrevor beach/Parksville, Englishman River. We are right in the middle of an extensive trail network perfect for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding.
Both sites have plenty of space for RVs and trailers - we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. 30 amp Electrical and potable water hookups are available on both sites. WI-FI onsite as well. There is a flush toilet and sink available in our farm store that is available for guest use. No shower yet, but we are working on it!
The property is private yet close to all amenities. Local favorite Rocking Horse Pub is a quick walk next door and a must-stop for dinner and drinks!
Centrally located on Vancouver Island, it’s a perfect spot to set up the rig and day trip out to Rathtrevor, Little Qualicum, Parksville, Coombs, Port Alberni valley and Nanaimo, or go for an overnighter in Victoria, Tofino, Mount Washington and the Comox Valley.
Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban and we have dry firewood for sale onsite. If you would like firewood send us a message before you arrive.
Pets are welcome, but please be responsible for them. There is a large open grass field for you to let them run and burn off that energy.

Camping at Olich Creek Farm is unique and family friendly. Most of our rescued farm animals roam the property freely and absolutely love human visitors. Families with children will also enjoy the natural play areas the farm offers including a shallow creek and visits with our chickens and ducks. Your dogs or other small pets are permitted in the camping areas only as our herd is terrified of dogs. There is another large area (about 5 acres) where well-behaved dogs can run off leash.
We have one RV site with septic, water and 50 Amp power and can fit a 40 foot unit and 2 totally private tent sites. There is a full washroom with tub/shower, toilet and wifi access in our old farmhouse which is complimentary during your stay.
Should you find that your desired dates are already booked, please reach out to us as we may have a back up spot available.
Please keep in mind we are an organic farm homestead that offers an agritourism experience. We are not a manicured campground :) Your camping fees go directly to support our aging farm animals and horses.

Welcome to a natural, convenient location with basic amenities on the West Kettle River! We have 300 acres including 1500 meters of river frontage with access to the surrounding crown land and KVR trail which runs through the property.
We recommend arriving before dark so that you aren't complaining in a review how hard sites are to find at night, in the dark. Some sites may be overgrown generally a lawn mower is provided for your use. If you are looking for fully serviced campsites where the outhouse is closer than 250m, then you should just carry on!
The KVR trail is the access to the property. From HWY 33 South, take the turn (West) onto Tuzo Main Road (about 7km's south of Beaverdell), then cross the wooden bridge over the Kettle River and take the first left onto the KVR trail (a long, straight flat gravel road) and follow for 1900meters. Mostly wide enough for one way traffic only, so please be patient and mindful of trail users on bikes, quads and vehicles.
After driving down the KVR right of way about 1.2km, you will arrive at the farmhouse gates - there you will see a little sign for the campground on the tree, so keep going down the right away. Once you go another 600m or so, you will come to a homemade sign with an arrow pointing you left. Turn there and then make a quick right turn then follow the road. You will come to the large tree with a picnic table and two blue barrels marking site #10. Sites 1, 2, 3 ,4 are over at the river, the other RV sites 5, 6, 7, 8, can be any where around site 10 or in the loop.
I can always bring the lawner mower over to cut the grass and weeds down just get a hold of me.
We currently have 5 tent only sites on the river and 25 RV/Tent sites currently about 100m from the river. There are currently picnic tables with blue umbrellas for sites 1, 3, 4, 10. There is a small white table and chairs for site 2.
RV's sites include sites #4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 - I can add many more RV sites. Just need to cut the grass/weeds.
Fishing, hiking, exploring, bring your quads, dirt bikes. There's plenty of roads and trails ... Even a secret honey hole fishing spot not far away but that's hush hush only locals know about this gem. A camper told me recently he saw a massive fish (16+ inches), likely a rainbow in the Kettle.

Bordered on the East by the flowing waters of Lakshmi. To the South, historical Portage road and Mars Xing, my neighbours dovetail log cabin, dated 1859 was once known as Johnnies RoadHouse. To the West the flowing waters of Saraswati and beyond the "Labyrinth" of bluffs known as Juniper Ridge rises to the alpine. To the North primary old growth forest housing a web of game trails connecting Birkenhead lake Provincial Park. This land was horse logged in the 50's, a few elder mother trees remain standing. There are many zones and edges. Including eighty year old Douglas Fir, Cedar, Douglas and Vine Maple,Maturing Cherry orchards, thickets of shrubs and herbaceous ones offering flowers and berries to the many birds and bees.In more recent years there has been much terrace work done offering meadows and forested camp spots, along with continued cultivation of perennial and annual foods and medicinals.

Our ranch is on Gun Lake Road, close to Tyax Lake, 30 minutes from Gold Bridge and Bralorne. It is about 2 hours west of Lillooet or north of Pemberton (6 hours from Vancouver) on a remote road with paved and gravel sections and no cell service.
There is no cell service or TV at our location. Wi‑Fi is usually available but cannot be guaranteed due to weather and other natural factors outside our control. We have access to a landline if urgent calls need to be made.
You are responsible for leaving the cabin/your room and the area around it clean and free of food and garbage. Each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabins when they leave, such as doing the laundry, washing all dishes. At the end of your stay, please bring all garbage to the main house so we do not attract critters and bears.
We live in a true wilderness environment. The cabin water system uses filtered creek water and, though not common, there is always the possibility for water pressure to fluctuate.
Weather and other variables can change quickly in the mountains. We expect guests to approach challenges with a positive, solution‑oriented mindset and to be respectful of nature, other guests and our team. We are experienced in dealing with nature’s challenges and will find a solution together.

Very peaceful and private and fun to have so many animals around. Heather, her mom Sanda and farm hand Matt were very welcoming and friendly. Always had time to chat.
We loved our stay there.
HOWEVER, DO NOT USE THE GET DIRECTIONS LINK ON HIP CAMP. That takes you to the wrong address. Put in her address and all is good!
We also walked to the waterfall ( about 3.0 miles round trip and sat by the river and had lunch one day ( about 1 miles RT.

I had the best time at Olich Creek Farm. Heather was so welcoming and took us on a tour of the farm and introduced us to all of the animals, our favourite were the miniture pony's. The barn site was lovely and sitting in our camp chairs in the evening surrounded by friendly sheep and goats was perfect.

This was our first Hipcamp experience and wow, Gavin and his family did no disappoint. There were so welcoming and accommodating. Felt like visiting friends than just contracting a site to stay on. And witnessing a recent birthing of one of thier horses was extremely special. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at Toy Creek Ranch Retreat! The camper was spotless, cozy and the perfect mix of camping and glamping, with breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings and amazing starry nights. Our daughter loved visiting the chickens, playing in the sandy arena, and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit in the evenings.
The property feels private and surrounded by nature, with Crown land access right from the property and Twin Lakes just minutes away for walks and swims. Claire & Kyle were wonderful hosts and made the whole experience feel so welcoming and relaxing. We already can’t wait to come back!

We pretty much had the place to ourselves, which was really nice for our dog. It’s right on the KVR, and we were able to explore quite a bit with our SxS. Scenery at the campsite was nice. It’s pretty rustic, but that worked well for us. If you’re picturing a government-run rec site or a provincial park, that’s not what this is. But if you’re looking for a quiet, private spot that’s dog and ORV- friendly, this could be a good fit. Would definitely recommend for large groups as there’s loads of space. The sites are level and wide open. I think this place is well suited for self-contained rigs, as the outhouse is pretty far for tent campers. But altogether, it was a good place for us and a great place to stage from while we explored the KVR and other area trails. Would recommend.

We came with our dogs, cats, and motorhome for a night on our trip west. Was a shame to only spend a night, this is a beautiful area we would love to explore. Hosts were wonderful. Would happily stay again and recommend to others. We stayed in site 6, which had some nice privacy.

We stayed here as a home base for a soccer tournament, and it was perfect. Quiet and serene.
Quick note for anyone worried after reading other reviews. This isn't up in the mountains; it's just rolling hills around Kamloops. And finding it was easy. We typed "Grandview Acres" into Google Maps and got perfect directions.
We would happily come back.

Great property with two spacious, quiet, well-separated spots. Having electrical outlets right at the site was convenient, and the nearby flush toilet was clean and easily accessible. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay at Osprey Acres. Very quiet and able to park our truck and camper and our friends trailers comfortably. We could walk the farm and visit the creek. We also had a nice hike at Paul Lake. Little store up the road if you need anything as well. The outhouses are very clean with a real toilet seat. We stayed for two nights before going to Wells Gray Park.

We had a really great experience at this campsite. We arrived quite late at night, but the hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel comfortable right away. The place itself was beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. It was such a nice atmosphere to wake up to in the morning. We really appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay here again.
