Welcome to Crescent Beach & RV! We are a privately-owned and operated campground and RV park located in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula, just west of Port Angeles. With a wide range of accommodations, such as full and partial hook-up RV sites, tent sites, and rental cabins - our park is the perfect destination for those looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. In addition to stunning views and access to our 1/2 mile sandy beach, we offer a variety of amenities, including a volleyball court, horse-shoe pits, camp store, and quarter-operated laundry facilities & quarter-operated hot showers (open 7am-9pm during the summer, 9am-5pm during the fall/winter). No need to limit stays to the summer, we are open year-round for overnight stays as well as day-use. Popular activities include walking on the beach, flying kites, building sandcastles, surfing and paddleboarding, birdwatching, playing with seaweed, checking out the tide pools at Tongue Point Marine Life Sanctuary, and hiking Striped Peak - to name a few. Our proximity to Olympic National Park and other local attractions make us a great base for exploring the nearby areas. Whether you're in a trailer, sprinter van, tent or even your car - we have a spot for you! Come and visit Crescent Beach and RV, where the staff feel like friends and the beach feels like home.

Easy and comfortable is how I describe our stay. We arrived after sunset but the campsite was easy to find and setup. Hikes were close and beach was full of surfers. Will definitely come again.

100+ yards of private beach offering panoramic views of the strait and easy access to Tongue Point. A bunch of surfers utulize the day use parking while they catch waves just across the road. Sites are relatively small but each has a concrete pad and a long picnic table. We were there late September and the mosquitoes were crazy.

Our site was tucked behind the trees which shielded us from the cool breeze but we could still hear the surf. Shower and restroom very clean and the added plus’s was laundry. Sites were small but served us well

Decent space but not as private as we hoped. Neighbors had barking dogs that were in clear view about 20 feet away all nights. Bathrooms were rough, though showers were clean. Couldn’t get the internet to work and no cell reception.

Camp site 64 is very nice and large. It is situated by the main road going through the tent area however so expect more foot and car traffic. The closest bathroom is ok, but it would have been nice if it was the same quality as the public restroom near the RV site. View and access to the water was ideal. We really enjoyed our stay.

I love this beach even though you have to pay to go there now it’s worth it. I usually camp in a more private setting. It’s perfect for my hybrid camping car/tent. It’s a bit tight so be ready for lots of people you can find your peace on this beautiful beach… especially cool on low tide days. You can come here for the day for $8 and $8 for your dog , use facilities-showers , laundry, garbage… watch the sun set.

This spot is completely stunning! Although it’s a bit pricey, it makes up for it with the private beach, showers, updated restrooms, and water stations. It’s close by to lots of places to explore from what I’ve heard, but me and my two dogs decided to chill out and just enjoy the campgrounds, which was more than enough for us!

The camp spot, the beach, the views were all incredible. But site 68 has a chipmunk problem. They chewed through my waterproof-canvas dry goods bag on the first night. We put all food in our truck and the 2nd night they tore through our vinyl pop up trash can and drug it all over the site next door. The mosquitos were also more intense at the site than anywhere we've camped this year. Bug-spray, citronella and a lot of neck slaps were no match for them. They were completely undeterred by the 9 MPH sustained winds as well. I understand these are things that come with camping. It didn't dampen our experience and we had a lovely time. Just want others to come prepared for "SuperSkeeters" and a band of "wild and out" chipmunks all hopped up on our marshmallows and powdered hot chocolate!

Tent site 81 was a great location. It is very private and has a large footprint. We had two tents and three vehicles. It was close to the tent bathrooms and sink area, as well as a short walk to the main bathrooms and showers. The campground was very well maintained and conveniently located to so many amazing hikes/sights. The private beach access is awesome. Would highly recommend staying here.

The campground was quite lovely! It is directly across the street from the beach and off to the east are a bunch of trails through the forest, which were great for running as well as walking with our little one. We also got to explore the tide pools and took some great photos. All the amenities were as advertised and the bathrooms were kept very clean. We’re definitely going to stay here again and highly recommend it to any others looking to have a nice beach experience

We enjoyed camping in Crecent Beach & RV last weekend. It is located in a beautiful location in front of the ocean and a short drive to Crecent lake. The campground has a good and clean shower system and bathrooms next to the shower, but the camp sites that are far from it have Honey buckets, which are not regularly getting cleaned and doesn't smell good. They can easily use the empty land for volleyball, mini golf, and other camping sports, but they haven't. I also recommend regular cleaning the beach, which contains a lot of seaweeds with lots of bugs around it making a walk not pleasant. Also, the Wi-Fi wasn't strong enough to cover the whole camp area, and it was only good around the office. In overall, we had a good time.

We enjoyed our time here despite the negative reviews of copious mosquitoes and close-together RV spaces. We found that everyone at the campsite mostly spent their time indoors in the evenings, and were otherwise on the beach across the road. The beach was wonderful. The water was freezing cold, but the kids still got out to paddle surf for hours in swimsuits amongst the wetsuits surfing. It felt like a California beach, white sand and easy waves, not crowded. We set up in the morning and spent all day there. There was a burn ban but we brought a propane firepit to the beach at night and had it totally to ourselves. Well, plus the sand fleas—they’re everywhere, jumping on your feet and following the light or kelp. The kids made a coliseum and staged sand flea gladiator battles, so they were happy and it bothered us less. The stars were so worth it, we could see the Milky Way! Definitely a trip to remember and we’ll be back to this gorgeous spot.

It's nice to be so close to the beach and hear the waves at night. The RV spots are close together, which was a bummer, but at least everyone was quiet. We always appreciate having hook-ups, too. The proximity to tidepools at low tide and a great hike on Striped Peak at Salt Creek Recreation Park (next door to this RV park) were a big plus. Come prepared for an onslaught of mosquitoes!

Great site! Check in was easy. There are bathrooms close by and it’s just a short walk to the showers (and more bathrooms). It was nice being so close to the beach and we loved exploring while we were there. Wifi is spotty. We didn’t mind. We’d definitely camp here again!

The private beach wrist bands are odd. The bathrooms are really gross. There are not enough of them for the amount of campers there are. The only part of the campground that I liked was that it has a private beach and the communication of the employees. The sights are not private and are on top of each other. The office closed early before the check in times ended. The only map is on the door of the office so you need to take a photo with your phone to navigate the grounds.
