Cozy camping at 4B
We had an amazing time staying in this forest getaway filled with wood carved mushrooms and gnomes. It had plumped-in toilets, showers and a kitchenette area with a stove and pots and pans if you need a place to prep a meal. We stayed in 4B with our van but there is a tent platform for those who need it. I will say 4B doesn’t have a lot of space and has zero privacy since it is right next to the road (shared with other campers not HWY 101, although that’s close too). The other ones looked more tucked in and cozy, so if that’s your preference, I would choose that! (5 next door has a huge area and a pond!)

Best campground ever
This is such an amazing campground, I’ve been here twice now and I would love to come back again. The twinkly lights and the little carved wood mushrooms and gnomes are so cute, the campground is not too big but you don’t feel like you’re on top of anyone the sites are all quite private. The grounds are absolutely beautiful you’re just on the edge of Olympic National Park… but you can have your dog here with you which is awesome! The platform for the tent is great. I love that there are a couple of kitchens where you can prep and make food, there is a wash station too. Clean facilities, the bathrooms are nice. This time around it was much quieter but when I was there in the summer it was amazing Logan had the hot tub going that’s fueled by a wood burning stove, plus he had the pizza oven fired up. This is a fantastic place to have large group camping trips like with friends or family. But it’s also great for just a getaway along or with a couple people. The Olympic discovery trail is right there near campground too. I would say this is the best campground I’ve ever seen. I love it so much. I can’t wait to return next summer. Logan is very quick to respond and helpful when we communicated during our time there.

Lovely land, sweet little buildings and kitchen area. As others mention, some sites are close to 101 so daytime sounds of traffic and logging trucks.

Great camping in Olympic Rainforest
Great facilities that offered multiple cook sites and clean restrooms with shower available. Super close to Lake Crescent.

Great base camp to Sol Duc
The location of this camp site is great. Situated right outside the Sol Duc entrance, this made a great base camp for our hike to the Seven Lakes Basin. The campsite was easy to access, and the instructions were clear. I was worried that 1B may not be big enough, but two small tents fit fine on the wooden platform at the camp site. The platform worked great and provided a smooth surface for a good night's sleep. There was also a very efficient metal fire pit, chairs and a picnic table. Watch out for racoon! Make sure you put all food and anything with a scent in your car at night.

Great but relaxation is relative
Overall great experience and amenities. You could pack light and be okay with all that Logan provides: cooking and cleaning supplies, hot shower, fire wood..
The only thing disappointing was not Logan’s fault but something to be aware.. it’s not as peaceful of a stay. My second night here, an inconsiderate group blasted music from both common areas and their tent area past midnight. Idk if that is encouraged because the speakers were provided by Logan at the site so I may need to manage my expectation.. but it was definitely not a “retreat” with the loud music and hollering from 7pm to past midnight.

Awesome spot off the ODT. Although we arrived after dark we had no trouble navigating the property to our campground. Would love to stay there again and maybe plan my trip a bit better to have more relaxing time there.

The camp spot was absolutely beautiful ! Loved all the art, the scenery, the vibes were great. They even have platforms for your tents which i found really nice. Only thing that didn’t make this camp 5b 100% Amazing was the fact we were too close to a main road :( all through out the night we heard cars and semi trucks passing by… maybe pack earplugs if u get this spot!

Best campspot!
This campground was the best campground that I have ever stated at! What an amazing experience to have while in ONP and Paul the camp host was very accommodating and helpful. We had a full kitchen with so much space, and loved all of the unique sculptures around camp! Highly recommended and would 100% stay here again. We camped at 3B and loved the privacy of the space, there is a bit of a hill you have to walk up, but it wasn't too bad.

Sol Duc Retreat
We had a great time camping at Sul Duc Retreat. The area is beautiful and the property has many great amenities. There are two cooking areas, one with a full stove and oven as well as many places to hang out. Our site, 1b, was the farthest from the kitchen areas, flush toilets and shower, but does have a port-a potty nearby. So keep that in mind if you choose 1b. The tent pad at the site was great! We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future.

Love this place and that you can bring as much or as little in terms of supplies as you want. Everything you need is there already so you can pack light. Bring sleeping supplies and food and you're good.

The tent site was nice and private. We really enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen facilities for cooking our dinners . It made a great base camp for hiking in Olympic NP

These campgrounds are so awesome!! Our site (1b) was a little away from the main grounds but very private and right on the discovery trail which was super cool! If I come back I’m totally staying here!

A true gem
This place is great! My only regret is not staying longer. Highly recommend staying here if you are exploring Olympic. This place is more of an experience then just a place to stay. Such detail & thought must have gone into the design of this property. It’s quite magical. Has everything you need & more! Outdoor kitchens, games, showers, toilets & water available.

Plan to return
Overall the campground has nice amenities and the charming forest carvings add enchantment to the experience. Super cute! We enjoyed our stay and would like to return, but will next time look for a larger site. 3b was quite private, but a bit smaller and further from our gear cache (parked vehicle) than ideal for us. But other sites have immediate parking and larger spaces so it’s all dependent on what site you choose. My son loved the communal game room and forest paths. We enjoyed the kitchen access, available firewood, potable water, and nice clean bathrooms. This campground is really special!

Perfect set up
Beautiful campsite.
Has 2 kitchens, stove tops, tea boilers, clean drinkable water, friendly host and guests. Perfect location across from sol duc trails. Campsites were large with a table/chairs and campfire. Wooden decks made it easy for setting up the tent. Shower was hot, restrooms were clean. More than enough amenities. Quiet, peaceful and dark to sleep.
Things to note: there is only 1 shower that I saw for the campground, but I never faced waiting in line. It was always available when I got there.
Also the shower itself is fine. There is this wooden board that blocks the water from leaving, that would be my only recommendation to change up, for physical appearance. But everything is functioning and I loved my stay.
They even had games to play throughout the site. I would definitely stay again and plan on it,

Camping with first time campers
This was the best camping experience I have ever had! The campsite feels like a place outside of time. Logan was super helpful and even provided an extra tent and helped us set it up (we arrived in the dark). He has clean showers with towels and toiletries provided, as well as a clean bathroom, several kitchen and game areas, and potable water. Honestly I can’t say enough good things. I can’t wait to bring my whole family back!

More of a retreat than a campground
Place is really impressive. Near the highway, so there is a bit of unavoidable road noise, but the camp lots are spaced out nicely for privacy. Bathrooms are clean with flushing toilets and showers. Outdoor kitchen is stocked! Feels more of a retreat than a campground. Look forward to visiting again!
