Ohana Farms on Pender Island
Great location and very nice host!! We booked this last minute, but honestly, glad that we did. Close to Hope Bay, Driftwood Center, community center. The sites are well spaced and private. Sunny the dog 🐕 gives it lots of woofs and two paws up! She was free to run around, got lots of good sniffs and rolled joyfully in the grass.

Ohana Farms is a great location to camp at. The fields are beautiful, and many song birds fly around. Its central location and ease of access make it a great location for exploring the island, and it is nearby groceries and other stores.

The camping was rustic but completely met our needs. The sites are located in the field (next to a marsh) as shown in the photos so be prepared for mosquitos in the summertime. My only suggestion would be to add a few signs directing campers to the water spigot!

Great central camping spot! Would camp here again, it felt secluded but was super close to amenities. Very friendly pigs nearby, lots of adorable frogs hopping around in the grass, and we even found wild asparagus! I think that the ease of finding the campsites could be improved with more signage.

This was a pretty good experience overall. Nothing to complain about, there was potable water, an outhouse that went into a compost and a picnic table for each site. All of the sites were quite spread out so ample privacy was offered even though there weren’t many physical things separating the sites.

Aaron’s property was great for tenting, his directions were easy to follow and the site was spacious. There were other campers but it was very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend for a stay on the lovely Pender Island!

Rustic campsite that is very private, serene and convenient to services. The only reason I would maybe not recommend would be to those who prefer more services such as sink, flush toilets and showers. For three nights camping, it worked fine for us. Fixing the doors on the out houses would be nice, and giving people a heads up that the bull frogs make a lot of noise at night - nothing 39 cent earplugs from the pharmacy did not fix for a nights sleep. First night was a nightmare.

This location was perfect with its close proximity to the village you could easily walk there. The piglets were adorable. Our spot behind the big cedar was very private and we fell asleep listening to the frogs every night. I had to go to Victoria for a couple of days and left my wife at the camp spot and she felt very safe. The host responded to questions very quickly. Camping on the old runway was really neat aswell. Overall a great spot!

Stopped overnight on a bike trip. This is a great spot! Setting up our tent on soft grass was a real treat. We particularly appreciated how much room there was between sites - we barely heard or saw our neighbours and passed a very peaceful night. Thanks again, Aaron!

Loved our stay at Ohana farms. It's really quirky spot - the campsites are on an old airstrip, and the old air control tower is still on the property. Outhouses were clean and the potable water was easily accessible. Lots of bird and frogs could be heard at dawn and dusk. There was a very large pregnant pig and a guardian dog on the property too, which was charming. We were lucky enough to stay the weekend of a comedy festival being hosted at the venue at the far end of the property. We really felt like we got a 10/10 Pender Island experience.

Great place to stay. Classic farm camping. Nice and flat meadow was super easy to set up in. Very private sites well laid out. Ended up going to the comedy show that was going on at the old Hanger when we were there. Awesome.
