This campsite consistently delivers a peaceful and enjoyable experience, with its location near stunning hikes and Lake Crescent being a major draw. Campers appreciate the spacious and clean campsites, as well as the excellent amenities like the hot outdoor shower, wash station, and clean port-a-potties. The host, Teresa, is frequently praised for her helpfulness and responsiveness, enhancing the stay for many visitors. While some mention road noise and a lively neighborhood rooster, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, making it a recommended spot for exploring the Olympic National Park area.
The spot was very easy to find, thanks to the video sent to me by the host. She was also very helpful and patient with us when we had questions and was very responsive. The entire campground was very well maintained and clean, the shower was really nice and had great water pressure. Also, very close to many different things Olympic national forest related things. I would definitely stay here again, in fact, I have this site favorited for when I come this way again. Thank you for a wonderful safe stay.
Teresa was very responsive and helpful. Teresa’s land was great! Outdoor hot shower with plenty of space to get dressed including a bench and hangers. Fun yard games. Clean port o potties. Really nice, friendly family camped right next to us. The neighbors rooster was very intense to wake up to LOL
Plenty of space even after tents set up and parking. Appreciate the wash station and hot shower. "Bathrooms" are clean. Careful walking around at night as the ground is pretty uneven in places.
We had such a great time at the campsite! The RV was nicely stocked, the campsites were really large, clean porta potties, and we saw deer! There was a communal gas fire pit (we weren’t guaranteed propane so we brought some), plenty of games, a sink with dish soap and sponge. It would’ve been nice to have a dumpster instead of having to take our garbage with us but Teresa’s videos were very helpful for check in and she was very quick to respond with questions.
Passed through on a motorcycle trip. It was the perfect place to stop for a couple of days to explore the area. Teresa was a fantastic host and the camp was exactly what we were hoping for. The shower was hot and the porta-potties were clean. The shared fire pit area was nice to use after a long day. The camp was quiet and very relaxing. We will definitely stay here again next time we pass through.
This campsite is very clean and spacious! They had multiple clean porta potties and even a shower for us to use. There was a communal fire pit place and our own bench in our area. I will definitely come back here again!
If you're looking for privacy (people not able to see/hear you), this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a fun community feel, feeling spoiled by amenities (HELLO hot shower and wash station! Plus multiple port-a-potties), deer wandering through your camp (magical!), and an incredibly friendly and helpful host, then you've found the right place! We would absolutely book this site again if we take a future trip to the area.
Loved tent camping here! Felt safe to leave our campsite up while going hiking for the day. Site 9 was very spacious and pretty private too. Would camp here again!
Great Host! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Teresa’s Hipcamp was fantastic! The camp areas were very clean and well maintained, and the outdoor shower was amazing. Such a great place to stay— definitely come back!
Teresa’s property was well maintained. We were only there for one night, but we enjoyed our time there. The port-a-potties were well maintained as well. I will say that the walk from site 5 to the bathrooms/community area is a bit uphill and kind of uneven, so the middle of the night potty stop was a bit of a trek.
Thank you, Teresa!
Teresa was a fantastic host! Lots of great information given about the area when we arrived
Porta potties available and a outdoor shower, which was fantastic. Nice location near Crescent Lake and Devils punch bowl
Road noise wasn’t a problem but I would use the supplied ear plugs incase you want to sleep in longer than the neighbours Cockerels lol 😂
Great host! Rv had everything we needed. Site had nice outdoor shower and toilets. There was plenty of land to play frisbee and soccer with my son. Had stuff to play outdoor games too.
Teresa was an exceptional host! The campground was exactly what we were looking for. Great communication and went over the top with providing plenty to do around the area when our plans got a little derailed. Would love to return again at some point
The outdoor shower was seriously one of the best shower experiences EVER! The water pressure and warmth was perfect after a long day of hiking. The land is beautiful and green and fit our 10 x 10 tent with more than enough space. The host Teresa is super cool, someone I’d call a friend if I lived nearby. Located near everything we needed such as Lake Crescent and all the great hiking spots. Loved having the sink for washing dishes, clean bathrooms and a table at our site.
New outdoor shower is great! I had a relaxing time to recharge with the convenience of washing station, outdoor shower and places to hang my wet clothes. Teresa made effort to come by say hello and made sure all is good. Would stay here again
Great place to be lost from load style life. Clean bathrooms, shower with hot water available, dinning tables, games..... simple but fantastic place to take a great rest.
Teresa's place was amazing! Sites were large enough that neighboring tents didn't feel too close at all, and thanks to a dish washing station and hot shower we had all the amenities we needed. Her spot is close to a lot of great hikes and beaches and Teresa was a pleasure to chat with in passing. Would 100% stay here again next time we come to the peninsula!
The tent site under the big cedar trees was great. Good protection from the rain and sun, both. It's a nice location for heading to Lake Crescent one direction and to Salt Creek County Park the other direction. Not far from Port Angeles, too . And the brand new outdoor shower was wonderful! Really appreciated that. I would recommend a stay here.
