Smith’s Creek Cottage is a cosy and beautifully rustic little retreat on a 400sqm block in the heart of Daylesford. Tucked away in a quiet street near the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens, this sweet period cottage is a lovely spot in which to relax and unwind. Perfectly positioned and pet-friendly, the cottage is a short walk to the beautiful Wombat Hill gardens, and a 10-min walk to the vibrant main street of Daylesford. Featuring two comfortable bedrooms (queen/ double), full kitchen with Nespresso coffee maker, bathroom with gorgeous claw foot tub, a cosy living area with wood fire, indoor and outdoor dining spaces and a spacious, private garden, Smith’s Creek Cottage is the perfect space for small groups, peaceful family getaways and romantic retreats. Soak away the day in the tub with a glass of red, settle in in front of the fire with your favourite book, or pull up a deckchair under the trees and enjoy the peace and quiet of this lovely neighbourhood. With quality linen and towels provided, and lots of little special touches throughout the home, Smith’s Creek Cottage offers a relaxing and peaceful escape. We are pet friendly, and welcome well-behaved, toilet trained animals only pls! Please read the notes in our house rules carefully prior to booking. And if you fancy a coast & country escape, why not visit our farm cottage in the Bellarine Peninsula, The Station Master's Cottage in Marcus Hill, also on Hipcamp! Guests have full and private access to the house and garden. We welcome well behaved, sociable, house-trained pets. We require notice if you are bringing a pet please. Pls note that we are located in a quiet, residential area, and excessive barking or anti-social animals will not be tolerated. Although we have a fully-fenced back garden, the front fence has large gaps between the rails through which an animal could escape, and the front gate cannot be securely closed. Pls read the following rules carefully before booking, as if any of these rules are not adhered to, payments from security bond will be withheld and your booking may be cancelled. ⁃ House trained animals only. If evidence of toileting inside is found a $50 cleaning charge will be deducted from the security bond. ⁃ No pets on furniture. Pls ensure pet’s own bedding is provided. Pls vacuum regularly if your pet sheds excessively. If excessive pet hairs are found on property bedding or furniture a $50 cleaning charge will be deducted from the security bond. ⁃ All pet waste must be collected from the property in bags provided and disposed of in outside red bin. If our property managers have to pick up after your animal there will be a $50 cleaning charge taken from the security bond. ⁃ No excessive barking - pls respect our house rules regarding noise on our property. If this rule is not adhered to, your booking will be cancelled and you will be asked to vacate the property. ⁃ Please do not leave your animals alone inside for long periods of time, as this increases risk of damage to the property and the above rules not being adhered to. Any costs incurred from damage caused to our property by your animal will be deducted from your security bond.Smith’s Creek Cottage is a cosy and beautifully rustic little retreat in the heart of Daylesford.
