Everything was prepared and ready for our arrival. The bathrooms and shower were above expectation. Directions were precise. The surrounding area and desert scenery is beautiful.

Stagecoach Glamping at Wits End
My friend and I had a great experience landing on Wits End Ranch after a long day of driving. Would recommend to anyone traveling through this part of Arizona. Definitely could have used a day or two to explore the area. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the directions getting in were clear.

Site 1 - Cowboy Starry Night at Wits End
Arizona desert jewel
The graded dirt drive out to Witts End is a delight and easy enough for my little car. After a kind welcome message from the host, this road weary solo desert bunny was thrilled to find a smartly laid out property- especially the clean and private shower house/loo. I could easily find everything I needed and was grateful for wifi access to double check my next-day route.
This tent spot feels extra cozy because the massive old joshua trees form a natural enclave, and after a good amount of wandering for evening sky vantage points (and once the evening wind died down a little) the campfire lulled me to sleep under a full moon that set in the morning as fiery as the sun had the night before.
The photos I took are iconic.
Thanks a million! Hope to be back!

RVr's Privacy & Long Mountain Views
Magical Desert Forest
This was the location that made a trip amazing. Its hard to put the magic into words but ill do my best.
First, I was lucky enough to have nearly absolute seclusion. There were a few people staying nearby (like 1/10 of a mile nearby) but not many and it was very close to being absolutely alone. Despite the solitude, I felt safe the entire time.
The hosts are fantastic- not good, not great - fantastic. They communicate throughout, check on your stay multiple times, are gracious and very helpful.
The site is magnificent. Ancient Joshua trees, many types of cactus, plethora of rocks to examine, and a scienic beauty on par or better than Joshua Tree National Park. The sunsets and unimpaired night skies are breathtaking.
A few tips:
1. Getting there- I traveled when the weather was good. This made the dirt roads manageable in my 2-wheel drive truck. Just go at your own pace and don't feel pressured to go fast.
2. Bring everything you need: food, suntan lotion and warm blankets for nighttime.. You won't need firewood.
3. Showers and bathrooms are awesome. There are two and they were clean. The showers could get 'too hot’ - an exceptional luxury.
4. Luchia's / Chevron- great day trip. The road is a bit scary as others may drive fast and its 2 way traffic (some portions through elevated areas). Check Luchia’s hours first... they were 11-2 pm and not everyday during my stay. Expect gas to be wickedly expensive.
Summary: in my mind, this is a must stay!
