We are a family-owned RV park and tiny home village located 50 minutes from the east entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and only 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, Arizona. Our family -- Adam, Shelley, Zoe, Ava, and Cairo -- purchased the RV park in 2021. The property was a trading post for decades but had fallen into disrepair. We have been busy painting, cleaning and improving the grounds to become a comfortable oasis for your family. Our location on US Hwy 89 on the east side of the highway is only a few miles from the breathtaking aspens of Lockett Meadow, the ruins of Wupatki National Monument and the lava flows at Sunset Crater. The park is a short drive to downtown Flagstaff, and on the way to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Moab and Durango. Stay the night or as long as you like! Drink in the hibiscus sunrises above the Painted Desert and relax into the long shadows of the San Francisco Peaks. Let us know if you want to borrow a telescope to explore the darkest night sky you have ever seen! We are excited to share our home with you! The folks who run the Oasis have done a lot to make this community oriented. The Clubhouse has plenty of activities available and a bathroom. There is a grill and outdoor eating area. I found it pretty easily but then wasn't quite sure where to park---the directions say something about a fence--but there is a wooden fence and a wire fence--I parked by the wire fence as it mentioned amber 'swirlies' which I decided were light (not on during daylight) wrapped around a post. It was quiet and nice.

Charming owners, so friendly and welcoming. Great room with pool tables and games etc. Work out equipment available as well. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through but access was easy and loved the view looking east. Will stay again when traveling through the area!

I really enjoyed staying here. Shelly and Adam have gone above and beyond making their campsite feel like a welcome community for nomads like me. It's close enough to the tourist spots to enjoy them, and far enough away to be away from the crowds when it's time to relax and reset.

WOW, what am amazing place to stay, relax, watch the sunrise, sunset and the starry sky. Easy access to Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon and the surrounding national monuments. They have room for all size RVs, tents, and boondockers. Shelly and Adam have done an amazing job with this place, including a new dog park. The Lodge has exercise equipment, a comfy sofa for tv viewing, a pool table, ping pong table and air hockey. They have food, snacks and fresh eggs for purchase. We were there 11 nights and hated to leave.

Adam was polite and welcoming. The proximity to the Wupatki National Monument, the Sunset Crater and the Grand Canyon area is appealing. We went to the first two. They have some very nice tiny house units for those who are not camping. Other campers share 1 very small bathroom with toilet and sink. The indoor group area was clean with amenities as listed. The proximity to Flagstaff was misrepresented as 20 minutes on the Hip camp app and on a sign at the group room, while on their website, I now see that it states a 40 minute drive to Flagstaff...closer to 30 miles. We only saw the Hip Camp site when booking and thought we would be closer to historic Flagstaff. So it was the proximity to Flagstaff that prompted the mixed review.

One the best hidden gems! The owners were so nice. It rained most of the day we were there so we hung out in the “lodge” all day with our dog and played cards, pool, darts and ping pong. Even watched a few movies. We will definitely be back next March for a longer stay.

An awesome spot to spend a little time. Convenient to several interesting sites that most people just drive by. We dry camped, lots of solar coming in. Also have laundry on site. You do notice a little road noise from Hwy 89, but not unbearable. Defiantly will spend a couple nights here when passing through in the future.

We stayed two nights here in our RV to explore the Grand Canyon. It's such a great spot, we loved the lodge with games, the chickens, and Squeaks the resident cat! The claim that this campground is big rig friendly may be a stretch, we have a 34' motorhome towing a 28' cargo trailer and it was pretty tight getting into our spot. The sites are definitely not level. The scenery is beautiful.

The campground is next to a busy highway. Semis passing all night made it difficult to sleep. Parking instructions clearly stated to park by the fence north of the tan building, which I did. After I was all level and set up, the owner came by and let me know that I was in the wrong place. The site was actually east of the tan building. So after a tiring travel day, I had to pack up, pull in my slides and move. So not a very restful stop. The location was convenient, being on my way to Page, AZ.

The hosts Shelley and Adam are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are well cared for and everything was in working order. The clubhouse (lodge) is great and would be a great place to host a kids party - ping pong, air hockey, pool table, games and puzzles.

Had another great stay at Grand Canyon Oasis! We enjoyed escaping the Phoenix heat wave and coming up here early. We had just bought a new camper, and wanted a place we knew to test it out. Everything went well and we were able to enjoy the high desert views in comfort. Our kids enjoyed playing in the open space, and also in their lounge area with skeeball and air hockey.

Beautiful sunset views of the painted desert from our site. And snow covered mountains to the west. We thought it was a great base camp spot to explore Wupatki and Sunset Crater National Monuments. Plus a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Shelley and Adam were great hosts very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Super friendly & helpful host. Plenty of space to navigate & park our truck & trailer. Really liked that it's a small RV park. While this is not a highly manicured RV resort, it's clean, has everything we needed & handy to the easy entrance of the Grand Canyon.
