On arrival you get to choose your own unpowered spot. You then set up camp. The caretaker will check you in at the spot you have chosen towards the end of the day. Misty Mountain Campgrounds is suitable for tent campers, caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes.. PLEASE NOTE - Children aged between 3 and 15 are booked under Child Rates, Children 2 and under are Free and do not have to be booked in. We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking. During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Yamba is known to have some of Australia's best beaches Ideal for surfing, fishing and all of your water sports needs. Other main attractions of Yamba include; Yamba Golf and Country Club, Yamba Bowling Club, the Pacific Hotel and Yamba Shores Tavern. Overnight stay. Clean amenities with hot showers and flushing toilets (on a septic). There are two undercover areas. One has a sink for washing up and kettle. But no gas BBQ but fire pits are available. Half the campground was closed for camping but you could walk through it for the creek walk

Good quality firewood and kindling available for a must do fire at a reasonable price. Peter & the care taker were lovely to deal with. The starry skies are awesome and the local pub in Uki was fun! Will definitely be back.

Absolute best spot for camping that we have been to so far. Owners Damo and Tammy are really lovely. The grass was freshly mowed, the site was very tidy and clean. The river is like a picturesque babbling brook with shallow and deep-ish areas, great for kids exploring among the rocks. Warn the kids that the rocks are VERY slippery before hand. Horses were friendly and loved our carrots. The 4x4 access track is not for beginners (in our opinion). Drop toilet was a maintained one and quite rustic. We bought eggs from Tammy, they were delicious and fresh. Stayed in April, had no mosquitoes or flies - only tiny moths at night at the gazebo lights. This is a special spot, not one to hesitate booking. Thanks for your hospitality Tammy and Damo!

A great camp close to Sydney. It is lovely and private, although there is not a lot of flat area without overhead branches which, with a tent, can be a little concerning. Bathrooms did not have toilet paper for 1 day/ 2 nights but otherwise great spot. This is our second time visiting.

We had an amazing experience at this campsite. The views were absolutely breathtaking, it truly felt like being in paradise. The kayaking and the Misty Dam were incredible highlights of our stay. The peacefulness and silence of the made it even more special. The gaming room was also really fun and a great addition. Just a couple of small suggestions for improvement: it would be better if the tissues in the bathroom were stored in a cabinet to keep them clean and hygienic. Also, the council rubbish bin was a bit far from the camping area having one closer would be very helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!
