We are a 4 minute drive from the historical town of Gladstone, which has a bakery, butcher, general store, retail shops, fruit and veg shop, nursery, cafes, restaurants, an op-shop, second hand wares shop, galleries, outdoor swim centre and of course the local pub. Gladstone Markets are on the 3rd Sunday of the month. It's a 20 minute drive to South West Rocks, Hat Head and Crescent Head. Just 45 minutes north of Port Macquarie and 1 hour south of Coffs Harbour. Please arrive before dark, or advise arrival time if not possible . You must be fully self contained, there are no facilities. Please no tents or swags. Enjoy a beautiful campsite near a large dam, watch the ducks, rosellas, cranes, herons and the occasional Jabiru, feed and nest in the trees. A great spot for bird watching. Pick your own spot, maybe near one of the fire braziers, but not directly under the trees if windy. No livestock on property but we have visiting kangaroos, tortoises, green frogs, and eels in the dam if you want to fish for them. Mid Coast Flying operate a private 800 metre airstrip on the property, and Trial Instructional Flights (TIFS) are available, for $150 for 45 minutes. Please speak to Ross when you arrive. You can pick your own site. Unfortunately we may have to close after torrential rain events. We are also pet friendly, however there are no bins, so please pick up after your pets in the camping area. Water is available near the hangar as you drive in.

It was a great stay. Matt only has four spots, so very quiet. The second night of our stay, we were the only ones. The facilities are spotless with a lovely communal dining area with pots, air fryers, induction plate, knives forks etc. could not have been better. The hook up for electric and water was easy flat grass access. We had our dog and there wasn’t any problems. Matt was very helpful and recommended various places.

Weekend Trip to Playstation Campsite

Lots of space and fairly flat ground. Ross was so accomodating as I had stuffed up my dates and it was no issue to change . Very good communication and came by for a few chats to see if we were having too much fun haha. Second night we had very high winds 60kmh but parked away from trees and still stayed upright. Close to Kempsey and Gladstone, would honestly give Kempsey a miss unless it’s not a Sunday as nothing is really open except Big W & Woolies. Much prefer Gladstone the pub is awesome dog friendly beer garden and very nice food. A few old world shops to potter around too. Made to feel very welcome would stay again if passing through.

Absolutely would recommend Anchorage park camping, owners are really lovely and great people. They check on you each day making sure you’re okay or need anything. Super clean camp sites. Big open areas right on the water. Meet the camp dog bazza super friendly, heaps of cows and mini horses (Peanut) was our favourite. Fire pits available and fire wood from hosts. Take your swimmers and fishing rods! Thanks for a great 3 days beautiful location.

Beautiful waterfront stay at Urunga Anchorage Park! 🌿 We enjoyed campfires, stunning sunsets both nights and plenty of quality family time. The perfect peaceful spot to slow down, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Absolutely loved camping at Troy and Angela property was a nice spot to spend the day. Both Angela and Troy were extremely friendly was given easy to follow instructions and they showed you themselves where your campsite is.

We stayed on site 3 with great view of the river. The site was well maintained and very tidy. We were escorted to our site by Troy. The grounds are very quiet and peaceful. There were 3 other groups staying and each had plenty of space. We are staying again in 2 weeks on our way home

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Spacious site, green grass, river views, fishing, fire pit and doggo friendly. Troy and Angela were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was spotless, beautifully manicured, and exceptionally well cared for. The tranquillity of the property made it the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Without a doubt, this is the most relaxing Hipcamp we've ever stayed at. We highly recommend it and would love to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at Anchorage Park. Large sites with plenty of space between each van and river views made it a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Check in was easy with prompt and efficient communication from Angela and Troy. We met Angela on arrival and were given friendly, personal attention to make sure we maximised our experience. The location is excellent, close to town for convenience but far enough away to enjoy the rural setting. It is also close to beachside towns, Coffs Harbour and inland towns, country landscapes and nature reserves around the Waterfall Way.

Fantastic stay at The Anchorage Park! The site was perfect—right by the water, level, grassy, and beautifully quiet without too many other campers. We absolutely loved our stay at Anchorage Park and highly recommend it. The location is so beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. All of the camp spots are right on the water, the property is immaculate and felt really safe. Troy and Angela were so helpful and kind too, we’d love to come back again.
