Laguna, NSW · 6 sites · Tents, RVs
Welcome to HOME – a secluded off-grid camping experience in the heart of nature. Tucked away and surrounded by national park on three sides, this is as peaceful and remote as it gets. No crowds, no noise, no rush. Just open land, fresh air, and the sound of birds from sunrise to sunset. HOME is designed for those who truly enjoy nature and simplicity. This is a fully self-sufficient camping site, meaning you will need to bring everything you need for your stay. There is no power on site, and no luxury infrastructure – you are here to connect with the land and the nature. We offer access to a shower and a compost toilet, but everything else is up to you. Think of it as camping the way it was meant to be. You’ll be sharing the space with wildlife – kangaroos, wombats, and an abundance of birdlife call this place home. If you’re lucky (and respectful), you might even spot our very shy red-bellied black snake, who prefers to keep to itself. ⸻ Important things to know before booking: * This is a bring-your-own-gear campsite * No powered sites * Water is NOT drinkable – please bring your own drinking water * No glass bottles allowed on the property (for safety and environmental reasons) * All rubbish must be taken with you when you leave * Fires must be fully extinguished before departure * Access includes a 40 minutes dirt road and natural terrain – you need a high clearance car, ⸻ The experience: Wake up to mist over the land, spend your day exploring or doing absolutely nothing, and wind down by the fire under a sky full of stars. No reception. No distractions. Just space to breathe. If you’re looking for raw, quiet, and real – you’ll feel at HOME.

Located just one hour north of Sydney via the M1, we’re the ideal "test run" for your new camper, van, or tent—plus, we're close enough to shops if you forget the essentials! The Facilities (The Honest Truth): We offer a flush toilet and an outdoor warm camp shower at no extra cost to the site fees. They are functional, but they aren't "Instagrammable." If you need luxury amenities, we might not be the spot for you. But if you're here for the open space, the bush, and quality time with friends and family, you’ll love it here as much as we do. Also we have unfenced dams and waterways, if you are camping with young children please consider carefully and let me know before booking. Ellalong, NSW · 13 sites · Tents, RVs
Nestled under the Watagan mountains escarpment in the Hunter valley, the property has some amazing views in all directions, but still remains secluded and hidden from view. The property has been selectively cleared to maintain a balance of open land and untouched bushland which has a boundary to the Watagans National Park. The animal life is very diverse as many species transition from the Watagans into the property and many live on site full time. These include flocks of amazing bird species such as Gang gang and Black Cockatoos, resident Wedge tailed eagles, Kookaburras, finches, honey eaters, Coucals, Lyrebirds and more. Wallabies of various types are common, and Sugar gliders can be seen on the flowering Eucalypts. The camping areas for RV's sit on a large elevated flat area that border a large gorge with broken views towards the Hunter Valley vineyards. The Gorge (or Canyon) is rimmed by caves and has rainforest type trees in the bottom. The caves can be explored and the rainforest can be walked if you are fit! The tent and camper trailer areas are terraced into an area of slight slope with a number of sites to chose from. Non potable water taps are available at each caravan site and at intervals in the camping area. This water is clear fresh dam or bore water and can be used for showers, washing up etc. Two flush toilets are available for use by both RV's and campers. There is a central fire pit. We have a private site which has open views over the Hunter Valley to the Vineyards and beyond to the Barrington tops. This site has a cliff edge pool that comfortably fits up to 4 people for a dip. This area has a large fire pit that can be used to heat the pool in winter. This site has its own flushing toilet and Shower. This site is best suited to a caravan as it is terraced, though it would be possible to setup tents or a camper van in this location also. This can also be booked as a group site. 16minutes to Cessnock, 25minutes to the M1, 2.25 hours to Sydney central and 25 minutes to Pokolbin. The location is generally very peaceful with all sorts of wildlife. There is plenty of ground sticks for fire wood and bulk timber for purchase.
