We loved our stay here and will definitely be back again. We went with our 3 kids ages under 6. They were so happy being taken out on the owners quad for a ride and going to see the horses. Firewood was provided at no charge and has a nice clean toilet and portaloo shower.
FYI This is not the place for you if you’re looking for a big 4 style place with astroturf to pitch your tent. This is more rustic and authentic camping, sitting under the stars cooking marshmallows on a fire

Great campground with good facilities, plenty fire pits and free fire wood. Very close the stockton beach entrance. Highly recommended.

Location, basic facilities, pricey
The description is fitting so carefully read it and the reviews: a grass paddock, no shade, one toilet and one solar shower (festival/construction style). Lots of fire pits and free firewood.
Plenty of mosquitoes due to the proximity of live stock.
Great sunsets and night sky!
There is one little covered area and the toilet is also in a covered shed.
The farm is close to the airport and right in the flight path so planes are low, loud and fly often, night and day so pack earplugs.
Good location to access all that port Stephens has to offer.
Steve and Kelly are absolutely lovely. There are many other people living on the property too, all friendly.
We were lucky to stay during a quiet time and have the place to ourselves but it gets busy fast.
Compared to other hipcamps, we thought it was overpriced - $30/n instead of $60 would be more sidle but maybe it was the summer and holiday surcharge

The electrics were only 10 amp which would be ok if it was stated and made clear when booking as a 15 amp lead which I had
Would not work as the pins in the site electric plug in box are smaller. Apart from that I had a good experience at this site and the hosts were welcoming and helpful .

Lovely place. Nice and remote. We were only ones there. Peaceful spot. Power is provided in center of park and various fire pits scattered around. Toilet facility was more than adequate and clean.

Such a nice relaxing spot, we we're lucky to have the whole site to ourselves, toilet was clean and tidy. Fire pits around the place to use as well as some fire wood. Would highly recommend this location as a place to explore the Port Stephens area, we had 4 night there and were sorry when it was time to leave. Horse's in the paddocks in front, wild rabbits bounce around on daylight and dusk.

Great place out of the hectic Nelson Bay area. Easy drive in if you want to lay on the bay.
Great amenities. Will stay again without hesitation.
The Jack Russell dogs loves ot too. So many new smells and these really strange lookin dogs..

We were glad this was available during our lap around australia because everything was booked out during this time. However, the solar shower was cold and quite dirty (rat poo). The toilet was surprisingly kept well. The site itself was mostly dirt with a large slab of concrete in the middle.

There’s everything you need and even more.
A clean toilet, a place to wash the dishes, a shower, peace and quiet, horses and nice other campers. And a stunning sky full if stars 🤩 …Thank you Kelly!

The site was as described. The facilities were more than adequate and it suited our overnight stop. Flat site with a number of hook ups in the centre of the paddock. Solar shower was most welcome after a long drive.

Everything about this place is good. Some of the reviews here are pure comedy. People arrive to a campsite and then act shocked that it’s a campsite. No luxury, no marble floors, no hotel-level bathrooms.
If dirt, walking, basic facilities, or being slightly uncomfortable ruins your mood, camping was a bold choice to begin with. Nature doesn’t adjust itself to your expectations.
And the constant crying about prices is just lazy thinking. Keeping a place like this running costs money - maintenance, cleaning, facilities. None of that is free, no matter how much you wish it was.
The place delivers exactly what it promises - a real outdoor experience. It’s nice spot with cute and calm horses.
And last message for the complainers: even the hand soap smells nice in this campsite so let’s not pretend you were surviving some kind of wilderness nightmare. If this was “too much,” next time save everyone time and book a hotel with room service and emotional support pillows;-(

The campsite does have very basic amenities with a toilet and a shower in a portaloo style cubicle. As others have mentioned, although you are paying the price for a powered site, it is on a first come first served basis, and although there are 9 units available, there are only 3 power sockets available. We arrived late due to delays in picking up our campervan, and we then had to set up in the dark without any power.
I cannot fault the lady running the site as she was helpful and quick with responses and any queries we had.

Nice spot with good views and a great value. Flush toilet in the shed and a hose for water refill. Electric for household devices but not for hook ups. Interesting hose shower set up in a clean porta potti but with limited hot water. Several fire pits with plenty of free firewood available

Fantastic stay on Kelly’s land. Lovely sunset and very well set up. Very clean toilet facility and several fire pits available. We were the only campers and it was a lovely peaceful stay. Close to a shop if anything is needed and close to activities. Thank you so much!

A lovely camp with power, toilet and shower. The owners were absolutely lovely. Even helped my daughter and I when the wind was taking over our awning. Horses are nice to see and feed. Fantastic sunsets.

Loved this little spot. Open space for the kids to run around. Beautiful sunsets to watch. Horses to pat. Plenty of firewood to use. Toilet was clean. We didn't use the solar shower as we showered at the beaches at the end of the day. Overall tho we would love to come back to this beautiful little spot and bring family and friends.

Quite a good location, driving distance to lots of beaches. Easy to find and clear arrival instructions. Good toilet and sink in the shed.

Awesome, quiet place, too camp and relax, Steve was a great host, thank you for taking my sons on the quad, only thing I could say, is need a few extra toilets and more privacy for the shower. But overall, a great place, highly recommend.

Superb spot with solar shower and flushing toilet - beyond what we expected. Steve and Kelly even provided kindling and firewood for us! Close to sand dunes, go karts and beautiful beaches! Really nice to know the dogs were welcome too (even with their horses) - really lovely to camp with the dogs - a pretty rare find.
