Escape to this relaxing rustic woolshed, situated in the Upper Hunter region of NSW. Swim in the waterholes that the creek provides, hike over the 650 acers of property, explore the beautiful town of Murrurundi and what is has to offer or relax and spot the wildlife passing by. Guests will love the rustic interior of the old working woolshed, converted by the owner into this idealic accommodation, complete with chic simplicity and a sign of times that once were. Sleeping a total of 5, extra camp sites can be booked for larger groups at a cost. With stunning views of the creek, enjoy the fire pit and cook your dinner under the stars (firewood can be purchased under 'Extras'). There is a full size picnic table and a kids picnic table outside, along with seating on the veranda and inside the shed. The kitchen is complete with a microwave, stove, portable gas oven, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and a lovely country-style sink, along with dishware and cutlery. You will find all that you need to relax and enjoy a stress free getaway. The bathroom boasts a comfortable sized shower, free standing clawfoot bath (found on the property and restored by the owner) and a flushing toilet - enjoy the heated flooring on the cooler winter nights! The Woolshed is approximately 200 meters away from the main house, you may see the owners, their children and dog walking around or driving past from a distance, however The Woolshed area will be solely yours during your stay. The Woolshed itself has a lovely veranda with table and chairs, that provides a picturesque spot to sit and admire the view up the paddock. The Woolshed is rustic and open to the elements, so be mindful that it can be cold in winter and warm in summer. The shed has 4 extra large fans and for the cooler months an internal woodfire (firewood can be purchased under 'Extras'). Location from Sydney We are approximately 228.9km via Great Western Highway/A32 from Sydney CBD. It is part of the village known as Newbridge which is 3km from the property. It is an easy 30km drive to Bathurst and 50km to Orange with only 15km away from Blayney. La Pinata is also a short drive to Milthorpe and Carcoar - all lovely award winning quaint towns worth visiting where you can take in the history and enjoy great food and wine. A great country escape destination! Even the Newbridge Train Station remains treasured by residents and fondly remembered as the stopover for Queen Elizabeth II during her 1954 royal visit! Newbridge is fortunate to have a local pub, known as the Gladestone Hotel. Guests will love the rustic interior of the old working woolshed, converted by the owner into this idealic accommodation, complete with chic simplicity and a sign of times that once were. Sleeping a total of 5, extra camp sites can be booked for larger groups at a cost. With stunning views of the creek, enjoy the fire pit and cook your dinner under the stars (firewood can be purchased under 'Extras'). There is a full size picnic table and a kids picnic table outside, along with seating on the veranda and inside the shed. The kitchen is complete with a microwave, stove, portable gas oven, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and a lovely country-style sink, along with dishware and cutlery. You will find all that you need to relax and enjoy a stress free getaway. The bathroom boasts a comfortable sized shower, free standing clawfoot bath (found on the property and restored by the owner) and a flushing toilet - enjoy the heated flooring on the cooler winter nights! The Woolshed is approximately 200 meters away from the main house, you may see the owners, their children and dog walking around or driving past from a distance, however The Woolshed area will be solely yours during your stay. The Woolshed itself has a lovely veranda with table and chairs, that provides a picturesque spot to sit and admire the view up the paddock. The Woolshed is rustic and open to the elements, so be mindful that it can be cold in winter and warm in summer. The shed has 4 extra large fans and for the cooler months an internal woodfire (firewood can be purchased under 'Extras'). All 3 beds have electric blankets, the 4th bed, a trundle does not so please pack extra blankets. Don't feel like making beds on holidays, let us do it for you (linen hire available under 'Extras'). The Woolshed sleeps 5 - 1 x Queen bed, 1 x single bunk bed, 1 x single trundle bed. If you are a larger group please feel free to book tent sites, available under 'Extras'.

It is situated in the mountains between Walcha and Port Macquarie. We welcome campers who would like to pitch a tent and enjoy some adventures. Family friendly, dogs welcome, and visit us and enjoy a genuine Aussie farm experience. The property is the ideal place to base yourself to explore incredible walking tracks, mountain bike trails, bird watching, visit the gorges and famous Apsley or Tia Falls or the spectacular decent to Youdales Hut. Campers must be self-sufficient for their stay. We also offer indoor accommodation. The Shearing Shed has been fully renovated and features 2 bedrooms, one with a double and single and the second room with 3 single beds. All amenities are available including linen, towels and a fully equipped kitchen. The shed is comfortable for families with WIFI and satellite TV available. The original homestead has been fully renovated. It has 5 bedrooms, sleeps 10 and is fully equipped. It complements the shed, and is ideal for large family groups to take both accommodations. The farm practices holistic management including cell grazing, Rudolph Steiner practices and low stress stock-handling. Bill and Louise love showing people around the property and sharing insights into how they manage the land. There is an abundance of birdlife and wildlife for people to enjoy or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet and spectacular stars at night.

The Bales are centrally located a handy 10 minutes from Mullumbimby and Brunswick Heads and 15 min from Byron Bay and Bangalow making it an ideal spot to be able to explore the area. It is easy to get into the local restaurants, markets, beaches rivers and walks. The bales have been renovated and they are clean and fresh with rustic charm. It is comfortable and spacious with a comfortable queen sized bed, clean toilet and shower, fridge and a kitchenette and lounge area. The views look out onto the rolling green hills of Myocum and is surrounded by farmland with horses, chickens and cows. Sunrise and sunsets are amazing and there is a lot of bird life on the property. There is room to pitch a tent on a level well maintained area outside the bales if you need too or you can stay self contained in the bales. its up to you. Your Hosts Rachel and Luke live on the property in the main house and can offer you advice on local attractions. The property is suitable for families and couples after a quiet experience.
