New update , I don't currently have enough firewood to accommodate everybody . I'm working on it and hopefully we'll provide that service in the near future but in the meantime I have an address of a friend that sells firewood bundles for $5 each very close by . This is their address . 3904 Tillamook River Road. Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites.
I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite).
Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided)
Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.)
- Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party.
Please note about lack of signage: The "walters landing" and "92220" on airport road are the only markings to indicate our entrance. We don't want to put any "campground" signs to avoid curious trespassers into the property (we only want invited guests).

2. No motorized vehicles besides your auto.
3. Make sure your fun doesn't detract from the fun had by other campers.
4. No illegal activity.
5. Clean up after your pet in the camp and river bank area or anywhere people will be walking or playing.

From the South GPS is very accurate to our driveway. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you a few driveways away as that is the property line. Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large red "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. Welcome...
The ranch offers 7 different campsites and a Cabin. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a flush toilet in off season and additional Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well.

When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie and Chris the Hosts. Our 37-acre property features Cedar Creek, ponds, trails, and meadows. While we have a handful of sites that comfortably accommodate 2-4 guests, many of our most popular sites are ideal for families, friend groups, and gatherings looking for space to spread out.
Cool off in the creek, hike the trails, pick blackberries when they're in season. Whether you're road-tripping through the Pacific Northwest, working remotely from your van, or simply seeking a quiet weekend outdoors, there's a place for you here.
We acknowledge that Camp Cedar Creek is on the traditional homelands of Indigenous peoples including the Multnomah, Wasco, and Molalla, and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and Grand Ronde. We are grateful to care for this land and ask guests to treat it with respect.
**IMPORTANT POLICIES**
4WD/AWD REQUIRED PAST THE BARN: Only AWD and 4WD vehicles may access the creekside campground. Guests with 2WD vehicles must park in the entry lot.
NO TRAILERS: Due to steep hills, sharp turns, and damage cawe no longer accommodate trailers or tow-behind campers.
PACK IN, PACK OUT: Please take all trash and recycling with you when you leave.
DOGS: Dogs are welcome throughout the property. Off-leash dogs are permitted in the creekside campground and must be leashed around the Blue Barn.

Located on Mount Hood about an hour from Portland, Zigzag Mountain Farm is home to an organic garden, old homestead, house, yurts, and barn. 50 acres of open meadows and forest, bordering thousands of acres of national forest.
The farm is home to an organic garden, campfire circle, picnic area, a city bus with a campers' kitchen, outdoor seating area with BBQ, kids play structure and hiking trails.
The cabin on the property was built by the original homesteaders. Britta and Jim purchased the property in 2009. It had been vacant for a number of years. Giant slash piles scattered the land from previous logging.
The house and cabin were not livable and needed major renovations. In 2019, we purchased and brought in a city bus and converted it to a campers kitchen.
A year-round creek flows through the property and 3 major rivers are nearby. The Zigzag Mountain Lookout Trail leaves from the property. The property was homesteaded in the early 1900's. E. Mountain Drive was the wagon train trail into Portland, known as the Barlow Trail.
Zigzag Mountain Farm offers the perfect escape from the city.

We're close to the beach and the Sunset Bay Golf Course is on the same property.
Lots of hiking trails and you can connect with Sunset Bay State Park our neighbor.
We have a private, secluded campground that is wind sheltered with approximately 20 acres of space in which to use our covered table, picnic tables, fire pit, fire rings at individual campsites, BBQ, sauna and outdoor propane-fired shower.
The camp area is tucked away among large spruce trees and open meadows which lead to endless trails on the property, with the option to buy a round of golf at Sunset Bay Golf Course, which is right next door to the camp area.
We’re just short of a mile from Sunset Bay, where you will find kayaking, fishing and a great spot for kids.
The Whiskey Run mountain bike trails are a short drive away and are truly world-class trails. The Sunset Bay State Park has a huge trail network that spans the cliff line all the way from Sunset Bay to Cape Arago.
Chuck’s Seafood in Charleston is a great spot to pick up local seafood.
BBQ some oysters on the grill or pick up some fresh fish and enjoy the bounty of the coast.
Charleston, just 3.5 miles away, also has some great restaurants and local shops to truly make your stay memorable.

Located on the south shore of Loon Lake in Douglas County, Oregon, our private park offers camping and a scenic venue for weddings and events. We also offer unique experiences such as hayrides, horse grooming, and goat walking.
Following our 2023 approval as a private day-use park, we are proud to share that we have been officially approved as a campground now in 2026. Every visit to our family- and pet-friendly park directly funds the development and programming for Grandma Betty’s.
Park Guidelines & Information:
- Registration: All guests and vehicles must register prior or upon arrival and sign a release waiver.

Disclaimers:
Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it is only two miles South on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about 3 miles to Shorty’s.
Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!
If we find any messes left we do charge a $250 fine. Thank you for for helping us keep our sites beautiful and safe for all!

This place is incredible, but not as incredible as Peter. The land is gorgeous, and right next to Loon Lake which is great for swimming, boarding etc. The host Peter, made the experience even better with his friendly personality and clear love of the place. He took the time to show us his horses and goats. We also had a blast hanging out with other campers, which is a clear testament to the enviornment Peter has cultivated. Porta pottys were the cleanest I have ever experienced. 10000/10 experience. Hope to go back one day!

I want to tell you this place is terrible - bugs- swampy but I can’t - not to true HipCampers. This place is a 10/10. Peter, the host, is kind, personable, community centered and a true friend for life! The space is exceptionally taken care of. The sites are huge! You feel like you can breathe and enjoy the scenery- which is breath taking. No mosquitoes. Bring or rent a paddle board- ultimate place! You will see lots of toads- however- no night noise. We were looking forward to it but if you’re lucky enough to become soul friends with the bald eagle- it’s all worth it. Multiple docks- a gaggle of geese and yummy blackberries to your limit. Peter, the host, does so much for his community - children centered, it’s inspiring listening to him speak of what he’s done and his future in the community. His goats are a hoot- and the horses are healthy and praise Peter for saving them - giving them so much love. This spot is special. Peter walks and works the property in the mindset of his guests. It’s respectful and natured centered. Leave this place better than you found it. It’s going to be fun watching it transform staying true to its mission. If you love nature, want to preserve it and care about your neighbor’s stay too- this is your spot. See you soon!

My brother and I really enjoyed the property. Really clean bathrooms, access to the lake, flat ground, and meeting some horses! Peter was so kind and very welcoming. If you are looking to enjoy some camping time you should book a stay!

Farm campground was very well organized and wonderful access to a quiet little corner of Loon Lake. A great place to camp with small kids because of the goats dogs and horses. Prepare for little/no shade. We saw some beavers swimming around at dawn.

Amazingly beautiful farmstead. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The portable toilets near the campsite were nice and clean. We stayed at 2S, which was nice and private. We were able to drive back and drop off most of our gear. The shower house had warm water and was easy to use, though a little tight in space. It was also a bit far from the campsite. My recommendation for upgrades would be allowing fires at the campsite or in the pits next to the big barn (communal barn was a long walk away), building another shower house on each end of the property, putting down some wood chips at the campsite and path to it, and providing carts to carry gear. Would definitely stay here again though either way. The property is a wedding venue and looks like it could be good for retreats or small music festivals as well. Thanks so much for having us!

The grounds were spectacular! More wildflowers than I’ve ever seen in one place, and too many Hydrangeas to count! Patrick was a great host, he came to check on us as we were setting up camp, and could not have been more accommodating. I would recommend this Hipcamp to anyone, and would love to come back some day soon!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Hydrangea Ranch! Waking up surrounded by flowers was a special experience. Kilchis River Road is phenomenally beautiful, as is the river itself. Patrick was responsive and provided clear directions to the site. What a special spot to have as a base from which to explore the gorgeous Tillamook area.

Someone in another review mentioned that this place is magical, and I don't want to steal their words, but I myself kept using that word the entire weekend that we were here. Everything about it felt like a dream -- from the wildflower meadows to the many birds and bees to the ethereal rosebush pathway (where bunnies would hang out!) to the massive hydrangea fields.
Our campsite itself was perfectly located on a pretty secluded circular driveway. We had an incredible amount of privacy and it was very quiet (I don't know if this changes if you stay there on a wedding or event weekend). There was no need to level our camper at all, and there was plenty of room for any kind of camping -- whether you wanted to pitch a tent or have multiple cars with you. We had enough wifi at our specific spot to stream movies late at night.
Seriously amazing! We are already planning a way to get back there this summer.

Where to go
The Willamette Valley
Extending from the border with Washington state down to the community of Springfield, the Willamette Valley is Oregon’s main economic and cultural hub. Although it’s home to the state’s three most populated cities (Portland, Salem, and Eugene), much of the Willamette Valley is dominated by forests and countryside, with plenty of state parks, hiking and mountain biking trails, hot springs, and rivers.
Mount Hood and the Columbia River Gorge
Just east of Portland on the border with Washington, the Columbia River Gorge offers easy access to miles of hiking trails, waterfalls, and great skiing and snowboarding. The adjacent Mt. Hood region has equally beautiful scenery and is as popular for winter skiing and snowboarding as it is for hiking, swimming, and camping in the summer months.
The Oregon Coast
This region is popular year-round, attracting whale-watching fans in the cooler months and campers and hikers in the summer months. Popular Oregon Coast activities include hiking, tide pool viewing, clamming, crabbing, off-road vehicle rides on the sweeping Oregon Dunes, and sampling world-famous cheese and ice cream in Tillamook. While some brave souls don wetsuits for surfing and diving, the Pacific Ocean waters rarely get warm enough for comfortable dips. Some of the area’s best camping options can be found at Harris Beach State Park, Sunset Bay State Park, and Cape Lookout State Park, all of which offer tent camping, yurt rentals, and RV sites with hookups.
Eastern and Central Oregon
Stretching from the portion of the Cascade Range south of the Columbia Gorge all the way east to the Oregon-Idaho border, central and eastern Oregon offer a dryer, sunnier alternative to the rainier parts of the state, with a mix of lush forest and craggy high desert landscapes. Highlights include Deschutes National Forest, popular for backpacking and backcountry stays, while campers in search of a more developed camping experience can head to one of the many Oregon state parks along the Deschutes River, near Bend.
Southern Oregon
Oregon’s southernmost region offers a variety of scenery, with a mix of lakes, forests, and rivers interspersed with rolling expanses of countryside (not to mention some great wineries). The region’s most famous natural attraction is Crater Lake National Park, Oregon’s only national park, set near the southeastern reaches of Umpqua National Forest.
