Salt Fork State Park
Spend a few weeks to take in Ohio's largest state park.
Discover a vast wilderness with a diverse landscape featuring forested hills, open meadows, and misty valleys. There's truly something for everyone at this vast park. Start with the 2,952-acre lake for a summer adventure.
Eight boat ramps let you put in your boat, canoe, or kayak. Two marinas have 469 rental docks for convenience. Fish in several small bays or at the artificial reef on the north end of the lake. Catch some largemouth bass, crappies, bluegills, walleyes, and muskellunge for dinner.
Swing for the greens at the 18-hole golf course. The pro shop and putting green let you practice before hitting the links. The par 71 course has hills on almost every fairway and hole, so get ready for a challenge!
