BOB CAT RIDGE A WONDERFULL PRIVATE

This was an unexpected (if basic) beautiful location. Sharon was so sweet and helpful. It's sort of close to the road but that far up Carmel Valley there are little to NO cars. Quiet, sweet, frogs singing, birds of all kinds and huge buzzards way up high riding the wind. Was so fun to sit back and watch. Sharon allowed us to hike way up into the ranch lands above which was amazing. Lots of cool old ranch equipment and crazy baboon sculptures if you look for them among all the old equipment. If you are looking for a great climb, you can go on and on up the ranch roads to see some beautiful vistas and wildflowers. The Spanish Moss (?) is so beautiful hanging from all the oaks. The site is clean, basic and has a fire pit. No toilet so bring your own. We were there in the beginning of March and there was a cool little creek running through the place that my dog loved.
Just a word of expectation... It's basic like I said, but if you love peace and quiet, it's lovely and the hiking potential and birds soaring is magical. Thank you Sharon!!!

BOB CAT RIDGE A WONDERFULL PRIVATE
Sharon was such a kind and accommodating host! Her campsite is secluded and quiet, but has an excellent (flat) walking trail that our dogs loved. They were scared of the small creek but WE enjoyed sitting by it! Beautiful views and serene location. Would love to visit again!

Remote site. Private
Sharon has a beautiful place on Carmel Valley Road very remote in a beautiful place. The spot is private and plenty of room. She offered electricity but we did not need that you are about 40 minutes from Soledad and 40 minutes from Carmel Valley Village 40 minutes + to pinnacles national monument and park great place to see California condors from her location Camping out in the middle of nowhere. Love it.

BOB CAT RIDGE A WONDERFULL PRIVATE
Bobcat Ridge’s host, Sharon, was very helpful, sweet and accommodating! She gave wonderful directions to the property, and she was very understanding of our last-minute change of plans when we were forced to cancel due to a family emergency.
Although we didn’t have the pleasure of staying at Bobcat Ridge, we look forward to staying there in the future!

BOB CAT RIDGE A WONDERFULL PRIVATE
Sharon was a wonderful hostess! We enjoyed the privacy and quietness of the area. She let us know that we could take a nice walk on a cleared “road” and it went back into the property quite a bit. In the morning we took the road all the way to Monterey! Really enjoyed all the twists and turns winding through the valley. Great place to stay!
