There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. Our guests love staying here: "Camping at Gayle’s property was an amazing experience. We shared the field with 3 other campers but there was still plenty of room between sites. Land is flat and has fire pit spaces and BBQ grills. Outdoor shower was appreciated even though we didn’t use it & it was great to have the port-o-potty on site. The best part was getting to see the animals!"

The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions. We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 32' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes (32' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here. Our two level (full hookup) RV pads are on beautiful Anastasia Island within walking distance to the Atlantic ocean, Pier Court Park and the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away. Each pad has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions. We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 32' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes (32' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here. Pets are welcome on leash. accompanied by an adult, Each pet is $5. additional fee. There is an off leash park two blocks away. Most of the beaches are also pet friendly. It's very peaceful, there was only 1 other rv there the whole time. There was a bonfire on Thanksgiving, I wanted to go, but I didn't get an invite and didn't want to intrude uninvited, as there were other people and I wanted to respect their space and time with family on the holiday. Also the temperature had finally dropped from shorts on the beach to holiday weather, and my heater was acting weird. And I was freezing. That fire was beautiful though, I was quite tempted. Good Earth Farm was a very peaceful and private space. We really enjoyed waking up and seeing wild turkeys foraging around the pastures. We counted more than 30! At night we could hear barred and great horned owls calling near and far. It was beautiful to lay out under the stars and felt very safe. There were 2 others camping but we didn’t hear a peep from them. The host was very friendly and respectful of our privacy. The site is quite far from stores and roads dark at night so have your supplies on hand. We drove in and out of St Augustine and surrounding area and were happy for the peace and quiet after the city crowds. Perfect for our needs.

Brian’s property was a great spot for us! He greeted us and lead us to our spot and then we found out his wife Phyllis bakes muffins and cookies so we bought some muffins for breakfast. They were delicious! We had a problem with our RV not starting on the morning we were supposed to leave and Brian was extremely helpful in giving us assistance with finding a mechanic that could help us. Brian even towed our bus to the repair shop with his tractor! We were very grateful and would definitely recommend this property because of its safe location and the wonderful people who own it. Great Hipcamp experience!

Great Stay…. Host is awesome with communications. When I arrived, Jen came out to greet me. She shared some of the places in town to eat and things to do. Finding the place was very easy, although I encourage you to come in while the sun is up…. It gets really dark. The sky is wonderfully dark at night. I thought I saw shooting stars, but based on the news it was a Chinese rocket falling…. Regardless, the dark skies made the star gazing extraordinary. The place is about 20 minutes from St. Augustine, which was perfect for me. The Venus camping spot is very close to the road, but there was no traffic to speak of all night on that road. The Venus camping spot could hold my 20 foot truck, but I wouldn’t try fitting in a rig any bigger. The animals are all friendly and Jen encouraged me to pet them. She did share to pet the pigs on the top of their heads, least the pigs think I am giving them some food. 😊 Besides the chickens, there were lots of birds, including some miniature hummingbirds, that visited. I will absolutely be back! Great place, great host.

(Be prepared for a lot of rooster crowing EARLY in the mornings). Our campsite was level and had water and electric. It was not too close to the other campers who were there and we had plenty of privacy. Star gazing was awesome! Highly recommend."

Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions. We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 32' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes (32' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here. A 45-minute drive north of St Augustine, Florida’s most populous city, Jacksonville, is a surprise hit with campers. When to go

St Augustine’s subtropical climate and year-round sunshine allow for beach days right through winter, but the varied seasons mean campers need to come prepared. Visiting in summer? Expect afternoon thunderstorms (this is hurricane season, after all). Winter camping? Pack warm clothes as temperatures drop sharply after sundown. If you have to avoid one season, make it fall. September through November sees the highest rainfall, but the silver lining is low-season prices and fewer crowds.
