Retro Star Ranch is safe and secluded. We have 25 acres of land at the end of a private road in a secret hidden valley not far from SLC, Ogden and Eden Utah. This land is pristine and connected to over 5000 acres of undeveloped open space. The property is part of a recreation property subdivision. You might see some fellow campers on quads, occasionally you might hear gunfire, but you're more likely to see deer, fox, grouse, birds of prey, moose and possibly elk. Not far from Causey Reservoir and the South Fork of the Ogden River both of which have great water for floating and fishing. We have a metal fire ring (please check for fire possible fireban) on site and a 30 ft geo dome which is great for hanging hammocks in. We don't have a lot of trees so bring your hats and shades. Mornings and late afternoons are beautiful. One of the few places where in the area where you can really hear the silence.
You could easily get here in a sedan when dry but not recommended for sports or low clearance vehicles. If you have 4x4 that is better, especially if you want to venture to our last campsite or pull a trailer here. We've pulled a 30' foot trailer but the road is skinny in places and the turns are tight, bumpy from cobbles and ruts and often have puddles. There is about 2 miles of that climbs over a ridge. If you're adventurous and a confident driver on dirt roads you will have no problem. If it's you're first time pulling a trailer or if you have a low clearance then this might not be the spot for you.

Simple, beutiful, not too excpensive
The views here are beautiful. The campfire pit was fanatic and the location is great because you’re not too far away from Huntsville but far enough that you’re out of cell reception so it’s easy to disconnect from everything but your company.
The only complaint I have was the lack of shade and the wind was pretty gusty at times. If it’s in the summer bring your own shade :)
What an incredible camping spot. My group and I loved it so much. This is perfect for a secluded feeling in the middle of beautiful rolling green hills and yellow wildflowers. It’s far from people and it really felt serene. 10/10 recommend and we WILL be back multiple times this summer!!!
The Knoll was absolutely beautiful! The views were breathtaking! We had the place to ourselves. A wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend this place!

Great spot! Directions were clear, we only went for the day and it filled up our cup. We will be back. Thank you Bryan for sharing this gem with us!
Beautiful, isolated, and quiet spot away from pretty much everything. Bryan was super responsive--and made sure we were able to find the right spot and navigate the dirt road with our travel trailer. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time and did some hiking around the reservoir nearby. Bryan was a great host, checking in to make sure we were all set.
Beautiful space, close to Causey Reservoir and feels very remote. It was hard to find from the instructions. When driving up Evergreen Park - turn left on the dirt road at the wooden fence. This is around 2.2 miles from Highway 39. If you go 2.5 miles you'll go too far and miss it. Took us 4-5 tries in the dark to figure it out.
