Whilst the park has nice facilities and is in a beautiful spot, we were extremely disappointed in our cabin.
Every surface was covered in animal hair, particularly the bathroom, on the sofa and lounge chairs, and on carpet up the stairs and in the loft. There were crumbs all through the kitchen and lounge room, and cobwebs in every corner and window. Most alarmingly there was a piece of glass on the bathroom floor.
There is only one of these standard cabins in the park and it seems to have been forgotten even by staff. There are no pictures of it online and the listing (on hipcamp and their website) is inaccurate; there is no dishwasher and the additional beds are blow up mattresses on the floor of the loft (which is only fit for children as the ceiling is ~4 ft tall).
We didn’t expect top quality appliances or fittings from this standard cabin, but we did expect it to be clean. It was a very disappointing end to our family holiday.

If you’re by yourself looking for a place to set up a tent, wouldn’t recommend. Looks awesome for families with children. Cool things to do for them and a safe place…children running all over.

We brought our 45’ 5th wheel toy hauler to Echo Island Resort on Father’s Day weekend. It was very busy, but the staff very helpful and answered any questions quickly and throughly. My kids enjoyed the many different options that were available for to them to do from fishing in their pond our the local river that runs through the property, swimming, pickleball and cornhole. Their favorite was the rope / zip line course that went over a bunch of the campsites and the rope “trampoline” that worked very well.

How friendly each and every host was , the cleanliness of the facilities , and the way everyone in the park seemed to slip away into their camps at exactly 10:00 pm. It was a great experience. Thanks for sharing a memory with our family that will be remembered for years to come

The sites here go from really incredible to pretty bad. Make sure to study the map or even better call and find out what will be a good fit for you. We ended up next to a bathroom crammed next to a round cement pad, which was frankly a terrible tripping hazard. Also , even though the website advertised that we could book activities , none of it was open yet.

Stayed here for a few nights, it’s got all the creature comforts, even a little dvd player above the tv. Bathroom was great and the view from the deck was amazing. Only a couple of things bothered me, the provided wifi did not work, which isn’t that big of a deal since cellphone service was generally good. The other thing is that there is a tent site directly next to it which did get occupied by a large group for 2 of the 4 nights we stayed there so you end up sharing the “backyard” so to speak. More of a nitpick than anything. Otherwise I would definitely come back. The town right across the bridge had a great Mexican food store and a very cozy coffee shop only a few minutes drive away too.

The tents could have been way more cleaner and definitely towels need to be replaced
They were very dirty and They had a bunch of hair on it. The floors were not swept and there was a bunch of stains of food and it looked very disgusting. There were dead bugs everywhere around the window on the tent and around the corners around the tent
The tent upon check-in when we walked in, looked very abandoned inside and no one has been checked on it for a while. Before check in housekeeping department or whoever is doing the cleaning needs to check on the tents before they let the guests in and make sure they’re ready for arrival. Upon checking on the front desk, the staff needs to communicate better about directions and while handling the pamphlets. Also, one of the bathrooms that was nearby was not functioning, and no one made an effort to fix it instead offer to use the other further bathrooms on the other side. No one on front desk offer any compensation for this whatsoever. Very poorly customer service and experience overall. I paid $300 for 2 nights that was worth for $50 easy….. very disappointed

Nice to have access to pools, hot tub, and nice clean showers and facilities. Fishing rules have changed post-listing- pay for permit, but catch and release only. They were very nice and responsive, and we enjoyed our stay!

This place is without a doubt the WORST PLACE We have EVER camped at. Location was ok. Accommodations were so-so and overpriced considering the complete lack of services provided by the “staff” and the ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE way We were treated. The advertised “inclusion policy” … stating that guests are forbidden to engage other guests in a threatening manner or say things that are offensive to other classes of people is totally ignored - might as well not even have an “inclusion policy”.
Me and My Service Dogs were assaulted in multiple ways by staff and two of their guests AND their children. That’s Right … these “guests” allowed their SMALL CHILDREN to disrespect Us. Then make up a bunch of “rules” concerning Service Dogs that DONT EVEN EXIST. After these other guests assaulted Me and My Dogs in the pool area, bc- according to those “guests” Service Dogs “aren’t allowed in the pool area” and then her husband attempted to PHYSICALLY ASSAULT ME - the “manager” actually backed ME (bc she HAD to) stating that Service Dogs ARE allowed in the pool area - they still did nothing to discourage their assaultive guests behavior as per the “inclusion policy”. Instead this manager opted to somehow BLAME ME AND KY DOGS - fabricating stories about “complaints” about My Dogs (which were NEVER brought to My Attention until AFTER We were assaulted by their other guests- all lies of course in an attempt to blame Us for their behavior and actions.) They have NO security protocol !!!

Friendly staff and clean accommodations. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again if we were coming through. They have a large zip line and obstacle course for the kids and adults. It was well supervised by professionals as needed.
I recommend one of the sites in the back next to the river. Highly recommend!

This park was amazing! Loved that we had the entire 207 and surrounding to ourselves. The pool was great and the noise from the river was amazing. We will definitely book at this campground again.

Really cool site. The entire campground area is huge and is broken up into what I would say is 4 sections. The middle of you will, next to the ropes course, is perfect for families. Tons of shade, and the pool is right there. While we were there they were busy upgrading and working on the area but it didn’t bother us. The only possible downside, and it’s not really a downside, is the noise from the highway. Again, not really a complaint, just an observation. The ropes course and amenities make this one of the coolest RV parks I’ve ever seen.

What a little gem of a RV spot - GREAT for kids. But it seemed they were still doing it up so a lot of work machines around and the highway noise at night was pretty loud. If you know this coming to it, I guarantee your kid will love it.

This is a nice RV park with plenty of room between sites. Not all spots are shaded so you may have direct sun. Be prepared with a canopy to go over the provided picnic table.
The pool area is nice but no shade at all. Bring your own shade if you plan a day at the pool.

A very nice campground. The individual bathrooms with showers are a bonus. The kids loved the pools and trampoline in the trees. They are making improvements to the campground but the construction didn't interfere with our stay. Would love to come back when everything is finished.
