ENTRANCE TO OUR PROPERTY IS STRAIGHT NORTH AT THE END OF THE PAVEMENT. PLEASE DO NOT TURN LEFT ON SESSION LANE! We have ten acres that our home sit on but about 9 acres that consist of dry farm grass. We use 1 acre for camping and parking. The Weber river runs across the back of our property where we have a campground with tables and firepits. This is a family campground. We do not have Electrical Power or Water hookups. We have added 4 wooden porta potty enclosed in small tents which we service every day or as needed. Site selection is determined by type of sleeping accommodations and managements discretion. We have now have one tent areas and 1 RV spot. **We allow 2 adults per site and/or 2 adults and minor children per site. (Larger Family Gathering must be approved and pay extra based on the number of family or friends expected) WE HAVE A LIMITED FIRE BAN. ALL FIREWORKS ARE CURRENTLY STRICTLY PROHIBITED We are not a public campground and only list through Hipcamp and so our property is posted with NO TRESPASSING SIGNS. It is very important to let us know your approximate arrival time and call when you arrive. We will guide you down to the campgrounds and show you the best spots base on your type of camping. (Sleeping in trailers or van's versus tent campers) One draw back to our property is that we are within 1/2 mile of a well use highway (US 84) and railroad track. We have only had one camper who was concerned about the noise. Here at the house we don't notice it and maybe we are just use to it. Limited swimming and use of paddle board based on river conditions. Fishing is limited because we are on private property and the river is not stocked by the Utah fish and game. So, we are dependent on normal reproduction of the fish. Fly fishing being the best however you can use lures. Power bait or any bait that requires treble hooks are not allowed.. We would prefer catch and release. ALL UTAH FISHING REGULATION APPLY. WE HAVE INDICATED WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE. THE WHOLE AREA IS BASICLLY LEVEL AND GRASS AND BARK COVERED.

Super close to lots of restaurants and little shops, and Gypsy was so kind to offer her own bathroom/shower and backyard area to hang out in the shade. Loved staying at Lynnellen’s Hipcamp so much that we extended our stay by two more nights mid-trip. She personally greets you, walks you through everything, and has created an incredibly thoughtful setup for travelers. In the evenings, she puts out sandwich fixings and keeps a fridge stocked with water bottles you can grab for your tent. Inside, there’s iced tea, ice, hot cocoa, and other small touches that make a big difference. Each camping space feels private while still being comfortable and well-equipped with real beds, clean sheets, power, and lighting. She even set out a telescope so guests can take in the night sky. Mornings shift into a bed-and-breakfast experience. Everyone gathers at a long table, talking and connecting, while Lynnellen cooks whatever you’re craving. There are around 20 hot cocoa flavors to choose from, which my daughter loved. She is an excellent cook and genuinely kind. There’s also a huge garden where you can pick fresh vegetables for a snack. What started as a simple place to sleep turned into one of the most memorable parts of our trip. It felt less like a campsite and more like a community. One camper even asked to take a photo with her, which says a lot. She also gave me great advice, and my daughter absolutely adored her.

We had to leave early each time so we didn’t have time to stay for the homemade breakfast but there was food set out the first stay in the morning, for early risers which we appreciated. Loved seeing the animals around and walking around the property. Thank you!

Timpanogos Cave National Monument camping guide

Strap on your hiking boots and bring plenty of water when you head up the mountain to see this beautifully eerie cave. The ascent will take you anywhere from 90 minutes to three hours. It's pretty steep (a 35% grade and a 1,092-foot gain in elevation), so it's not for the faint of heart. To be safe, start up the mountain a good two to three hours before your tour is scheduled to begin. Hang out at the opening to the cave to wait for your spot to go inside.

The hike is definitely worth it. The views are spectacular (stop and take them in when you're pretending you don't need to catch your breath), as is the cave. Stalagmites, stalactites, weird rock formations (and places where you have to duck to get through)—this cave has them all. As with all caves, it's cold inside, so bring a jacket. No hard-sided backpacks are allowed inside, and you have to wear your backpack on your front to traverse the cave.

The Rangers here are terrific. They know their stuff, and they definitely look out for anyone who's dealing with a bit of claustrophobia inside the cave.

Around the cave, you'll find plenty of lovely picnic spots. You can also hang out at the beach by the reservoir (you can even go fishing). Camping is easy to find in the Deer Creek area, especially if you use Hipcamp.
