The yurt features hardwood floors, a wood-burning stove, and unmatched creek side and lake front access in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Whether you're craving solitude, outdoor adventure, or an unplugged group getaway, Smith and Morehouse Yurt is your perfect basecamp. There is no dispersed camping allowed , so the only people you will see during your stay are day-use and/or people camping at the campground 1/8 mile up the road or 3 miles at the other end of the resevoir. The yurt is on public lands, but the yurt itself is private. Your deck overlooking the creek and all the comforts of the yurt's 500 square feet are exclusively yours during the stay. The yurt does have a private WAG system enclosed toilet for you to use. Or you are welcome to go the the nearest camp ground or trailhead to use their pit toilet.

Super amazing experience and such a lovely location. If you are looking for a great night's sleep, all the amenities you need in a yurt, and a spectacular location, you've found your spot.
