Our family has been caring for this land since 1926, but before European colonization it was home to the Lenape people from whom it was forcibly taken. Acknowledging this fact and working to expand awareness of Indigenous cultures and their rights is important to us. While at the farm, besides the amenities listed in each listing, you are welcome to hike or walk around and explore our farm which has many acres of woodland, creeks, springs, a pond, and open fields. A hot day is a great time for a walk along - or in - the creek. A rainy day brings out the Red Efts - beautiful orange newts that are all over the woods when you know where to look. All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October. In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Contact us to coordinate for larger group bookings. Please note that a significant portion of county tax/fees and cancellation or change fees may be avoided by booking the base amount of people (4) and at a much later date adding extra guests. Guests NOT occupying canvas tent (lodging) and bringing their own tents should not be paying an occupancy tax but there is no provision for this in the app. We do not want our guests paying taxes -- that benefit no one but useless bureaucracy! The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. This is the experience that you'll remember for years to come. Welcome to The Record Room - Built directly from our hands and our hearts, The Record Room borders the fine line of camping and glamping, with a wood-fired cedar hot tub and outdoor shower that feeds off a small artesian creek, a sauna tucked within the trees, overlooking scenic ridge, and solar-powered vinyl that plays inside and out across a vast selection of vintage, classic, and current albums. Back to our small creek, there are plenty of quaint spots to dip your toes. The Monguap River is close enough to see and hear, and the Delaware River is just 2 miles up the road, with rafting, kayaking, and canoeing companies all along it. A queen Tempur-Pedic bed, as well as an overstuffed futon, will take care of you come nightfall. The outdoor kitchen is built for cooking some real food - a flat-top grill, a single burner, a stainless steel grate grill, cast-iron pans, and all utensils, all powered by propane. A wood stove inside will handle the chilly mornings and brisk nights. We have a pool table under a custom-built pavilion just for your enjoyment. And last but certainly not least, our outhouse, which is maintained by the women of our family. We also have a nearby waterfall, which is as close as a three-minute drive down the road. The Hawks Nest lookout is under 10 minutes away. We recommend downloading a trail finder app, as once you arrive here, there will be zero service or wifi. Since we only have one bed and one futon, only four individuals can sleep comfortably, but we also have a couple of spots for your friend circle to set up some tents. Our mission is to get people back into the life we feel so disconnected from nowadays, and we provide the space to be able to do so. We highly recommend the firewood package, as it makes life much easier, unless you plan on picking through the woods on your property (which we totally support!)

Welcome to Clearing Farm! Our grounds expand over 100 acres with many private hiking trails, a big field and cascading waterfalls. Please note while our cabin is a premium experience on a working farm, it is still an outdoor experience that takes place deep in the woods, off the grid and in a cabin built from earthy or recycled materials. It is a far cry from a typical hotel or traditional glamping. Experience a private campsite equipped with a Casper Full Mattress, fire pit and charcoal grill. Please note there is 1 bed at the property but room next to the cabin to bring and put up additional tents. There is no power at the campsite. THERE IS NO LONGER THE WOOD BURNING STOVE IN THE CABIN - THE TOWN MADE US TAKE IT OUT. There is also no shower. If you would like to bathe in the streams please use all natural soap as the animals drink from it. The Thermal Spring (hot tub) is no longer available. It was a $195 extra but the material and labor cost were too expensive to keep running it.

This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky. This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite. When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves. The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way. Relax in a secluded, comfortable tent while enjoying the music of the frogs. The land is a mix of cleared and wooded areas with a half acre pond. In the spring the pond comes alive with the singing of frogs and the blinking of fireflies. Enjoy a campfire in the evening and a brilliant display of stars. The pond is nice for swimming or paddling. We provide a kayak or just sit on the dock or relax in the hammock. The village of Callicoon is a ten minute drive with great restaurants, a brewery, distillery, wine bar, grocery store, vintage shops, live music and a wonderful farmers market on the weekend. From town, you can also book a canoe trip on the Delaware River. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is a 15 minute drive for great concerts and an interesting museum. There will be a list in the tent with suggested activities in the surrounding area if you choose to go exploring. We provide kindling, firewood, bedding, fresh eggs from our chickens and brownies from our kitchen. There is a small cupboard attached to the picnic table with everything you will need for meals on the campfire. A cooler is provided, please bring your own ice. There will be 2 large jugs of water at the site and additional water at the handwashing station on the back side of the outhouse. The site offers total privacy. Parking is within a couple minutes walk to the site and there will be a cart to help you transport your gear. We are a couple of longtime residents of this beautiful piece of the planet and we look forward to sharing it with you.

We had a group not understand this so I want to make sure it is clear. Firewood is for sale here for CASH! Please bring CASH with you. Sixty acres of magical trees, a one acre pond, and a three acre field. From the road there is a two hundred foot elevation gain to the top of the hill. Along the way are several hundred feet of rock ledges, caves, and critters. Most of the land is sloping, but the hilltop is flat as a table, with prehistoric-looking ferns under a dense canopy of mature trees. The campsites are ultra secluded- about a quarter mile apart from each other. All sites include a fire pit, cooking grate, picnic table, and sites 2&3 have platforms. Camp ONE: is on the top of the hill, and a small car can be driven to within 150 feet of it. It is pretty flat, and surrounded by blackberry bushes, ferns, and trees. Camp TWO: is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV (ie- jeep wrangler), so I consider it a hike in site. It is under a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. (It has been brought to our attention that there is occasionally a group riding atvs on a neighboring property that are audible from this site. We have no control over what time it happens, so please keep this in mind) Camp THREE: is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area. Throughout the property, there are many quiet places to hang out, flat spots to do yoga, trails to explore, and fishing and swimming in the beautiful pond. We are also just ten minutes from the Upper Delaware River, and all it has to offer. New for May 2026 ice cream shop! Walk from your campsite! The hosts provided everything I could need: firewood & kindling were all set for me, a full set up of camping cook- & dining-gear, and a spacious tent with a full sized camp bed. Having the river right there made it such a special getaway—the kids had the best time exploring, playing, and enjoying the outdoors, while the adults got to slow down and actually relax. And honestly, having no cell service was one of the best parts. 😂 It was the kind of therapy we didn’t know we needed—no notifications, no distractions, just family, nature, good conversations, and quality time together. Weekend Trip to Tiny A-Frame W/ Heat/AC & Hot Tub

This was exactly what we needed on this trip. It was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, everything from the landscaping to the pond made the entire place feel like our own little private escape in nature. The pond was incredibly clean, and we didn’t get bitten by a single mosquito the entire time! We loved having the paddle boat, fire pit, grill, and hot tub right there.The adorable swing by the pond and the little bench where you could sit with your morning coffee. There’s really nothing better than waking up to the pond or relaxing in the hot tub while looking out over the water. Even though there are a few houses in the general area, you would never know it. They did such an amazing job with the landscaping, bushes, flowers and trees that you can’t see the neighboring homes at all. It felt incredibly private. There’s even a little wooded area to explore, which made it feel even more like you were tucked away in nature. The cabin itself had everything we needed. The bed was SUPER comfortable, with just the right amount of pillows, and we loved all the thoughtful little touches throughout the property. Between the pond(we caught fish), hot tub (super clean!) , paddle boat, fire pit,outside mood lights,projector,great WiFi,beautiful landscaping, privacy, and peaceful atmosphere, this place really gave us the relaxing getaway we were looking for. It was one of those places where you immediately wish you had booked another night! ( Also my dog loved it )

Friday evening we spent some time chatting with Shaggy & had a blast, on Saturday we went to the Farmer’s Market and Kendra made me the most delicious iced coffee 😋 that I’m still dreaming of! The cabin was clean, all bluetoothed to control everything inside it & we loved how it was decorated! I got to play guitar a bit too! It was a stellar weekend! Thanks again for your hospitality!

My son called this a “million dollar camping experience” both my 6&8 year old found the property amazing. We saw a wild turkey, deer, a hummingbird, tiny little frogs they loved catching, tadpoles, and tons of beautiful mushrooms.The camp had nice little touches like camp fire water set up and water in a jug to wash with. There was a garbage with a lid and easy dumpster disposal on the way out. There are so many little waterfalls and swimming spots in the stream, very fun to explore. Cabin was clean and secure feeling while sleeping. The property is not too far from town if you need/ forget something.

Weekend Trip to Daydreamin on Dyberry Creek

The property is a right after the bridge over dyberry creek, with signs saying do not enter for hikers and a small bridge. There is also a large cart to being in supplies which was very helpful. Beautiful property and amazing creek to float in. Outhouse is nice, tent is great, and theres an inflated raft to use. Town is just 8 mins away with a lot to do!

We stayed here on a road trip - quick overnight. It's not far from the highway. The campsites and facilities were nice - seemed like it would be a great place for a family with lots of kids! It was not crowded, and the people we encountered were friendly.

Pickerel Point Campground

Amazing nature getaway in the Poconos. Pickerel Point is one of the nicest, cleanest well maintained campgrounds I've stayed in. We used to go every year before we moved away. Most walk in sites are private, with a good amount of shade and access to the lake. Supplies (beer & firewood) are about a 20min drive to "town". Grab some friends, reserve a few sites next to each other & a good time will be had by all. Don't forget to rent a canoe to explore the secret island!

Pickerel Point Campground

Spent Columbus Day weekend with friends new and old near the tip of Pickerel Point. We reserved two side by side spots which had the bonus of being both nestled in trees and having an amazing view of the lake. The campground was quiet after 10pm, well-maintained and the "locals" were welcoming. Tom and Anne, the resident Camp Hosts, stopped by in the morning and bent our ears about local lore and history. Only two hours from NYC, we'll definitely be back when Pickerel fully reopens for Spring.
